coach bradley gave me these stats and team records to post... Perry county high school records Individual Robert Francis...... most tackles in one season..125 Derek Phillips.... most int in one season....7 Micheal Barnett... 25 for 26 extra points and 3 field goals team records (single season) 13 total sacks in one season. 14 total interceptions in one season. 3 blocked punts in one season. 182 points against.. lowest in one season. i may be wrong but those defensive stats also lead the region this season. go vikings.

i started this thread to congradulate the vikings on a great season. the lose would have still come to mtp. all some of you can do is rip them. dont post if you dont agree. that is real classy. (not really) but you are from cwood. and mtp and that seems to be all you know how to do on here is rip.

we can compete and did compete with the trojans. we did not play very good defense against w,boro. should have beat them as well...collinwood jv would never see the field against perry county and we proved that. if we had played at home, i think we would have had that extra momentum to go ahead a beat collinwood with 4 minutes to go. like it or not.........the trojans are not much better than the vikings. we will be back next year to prove it. you just keep coming up with excuses for when cwood loses or almost loses. you' ll need em in the future. but i am for region 6 teams in the playoffs so...... good luck to the trojan team in the playoffs. i hope you go all the way!!!

This team finished 4-6 on the year but could have easily been 9-1, they were in every game and felt like they could win every game. that has been missing for a long time at Linden. when rice decided to leave a lot of people thought this team would go way down but just the opposite happened. bradley and his staff did great this year. The team worked hard and everyone could tell they had an attitude for winning football games. 2 or 3 plays and they could be playing in the playoffs this year. they only played in two games that was decided by more than 7 points. a loss to mt pleasent and the win against Zion. i believe statistacally they finished with the best defense in the region. (i am sure some will argue about that). this community was excited all year about football and i for one cannot wait until next year. great job to those seniors that are leaving.... does anyone know if they will play at the next level? go vikings Linden is proud of your efforts this year!!!

they could play 10 more times and the vikings would make it a game each time and could possible win some of those. i have seen some of cwoods game and they ran the same plays then with the same players. had you seen the other vikings games you would know that no one could run away with it. the teams yall played probably quit when you guys got on top but not the vikings. both teams played as hard as they could the other night. Wake up man.... vikings are on the rise. go vikings.

R-E-S-P-E-C-T... no one beats the crap out of the vikings. they played another great game tonight and almost beat the "better" team of the night. withe 5 min left in the game the vikings were up by 1 ...21-20. the depth of collinwood showed in the last 4 min. the vikings had a wide open qb throwback that the other running back didnt throw. that would have come close to sealing a victory for the vikings. the "rocking " stadium was as quiet as ever for the whole game. tonight the vikings proved to another region 6 team that they are no longer one of the doormats of 6A... we are kocking on the door and plan on staying in the house in the years to come. great job vikings, nothing to be ashamed of this season. go vikings

the spring score was 7-7 and was called off after only 20 plays because of a thuderstorm. i still think you can beat waynesboro but get your story right.

you need to watch some film, if you are a player. pc only has 5 players that go both ways. that defense is even better in the second half. most of the points against pc have come early and then not at all. with the exception of the moore county game and those points came in the 2 overtimes. this pc team has been in every game (all 4 qrts of every game) there is no wearing out these guys. coach bradley makes sure of that. they are in great shape. go vikings

Rice week is finally here! i talked to some of the players and the seniors are calling this the biggest game of their carreers. not bc of Rice but they must win to keep thier playoff hopes alive. i am sure coach rice has a lot to do with it being a big game. a huge win friday for the perry county team, first time they have beaten a higher classification, it our short history, even if it was a down AA team. they will carry that momentum into this friday vs. Waynesboro. last week the guys beat coach courtney's home town, this week they will beat coach bradley's home town. i say the vikings win this one by 7. maybe 14. as for the players that quit.... i was told they were goofing off during film study and the coach bradley called them out. 3 total quit, 2 freshmen that probably never would have played and a sophmore that should have been a senior. also never played much. there were no seniors that quit.

Calvin and Mallory and one of their friends were coming home late sat night. they were in a wreck. most of you know mallory scott did not make it. Calvin was in critacal condintion at Vandy. he is going to be o.k. physically. he is recovering from a lacerated kidney and lacereted liver, and punctured lung, broken ribs and i believe his leg was cut severly. around his knee. i can not imagine what Calvin and the Scott family are going through right now but in know someone who does... the ALMIGHTY LORD AND SAVIOR. please pray for these familys.

i am rooting for the hornets this week. that said... the hornets played very good offense last week, pc should have beat them, were it not for costly mistakes. if waynesboro can play mistake free, they can win this game by 14. if huntland can play better defense, they can win a close game. i think it may be somewhere in the middle for both teams. wayne... 21 huntland.20

not yet, still just the one coach, i think not having experienced coaches in the booth and coach Bradley having to coach both ways, may have caught up with them last friday. huntland had a sideline full of coaches and we had 1 or 2. our administration seems to be lacking a backbone in this situation. but i may not know the whole story. in any case the vikings are still playing hard and can win this friday. go vikings

the vikings know they give one away last friday to huntland. i bet they will be fired up to show that they are contenders in this region. the only down this week is they have to travel to moore county. A road win would be nice. perry county. 24 moore county. 14 i read on another thread that the coaching situation in moore county is up in the air. what is that about?

i have no problems with any of our fans. most of the post that claim to be viking fans are actually not. like "RFD". "vikingplayer" and "perrycountyviking" they are posting as fans to stir up something. you will notice thier post are usually stupid sounding and misspelled, and only have a few post under that name. it would be like, if i started an account under the name trojanplayer and was bashing the trojan players and coaches. it happens on almost every thread about pc football. the actual fan base here in Linden is great. and growing. we get a bad rep because of a few basketball fans. we love viking football and the true viking fans will agree that we are excited about this season and the future of this program go vikings, take care of the hornets this week.
