Lipscomb wins this one 28-21 with a ground attack and good defense.
Good luck David Lipscomb and hope everyone on both sides are free of injuries.
Better come with a little bit more than just a ground attack. Trust me I've seen these boys play. Not one team has won a game, or even made a game close by running it on the Falcons. To win Lipscomb would have to pass 70% of the time, and they still wouldn't win.

WKCS is on 91.1 FM but can only be heard in knoxville. The broadcast comes via cell phone, and only reaches to knoxville. I wish it carried further bc russel mayes is IMO the best in the state. That includes college. He should be the voice of the vols. NO joke he is that good. I hope PC has a good offensive line bc if not, this game will be over quick... Contrary to earlier post, fulton CAN move the ball thru the air...ASK catholic what in the 4th quarter last week. Fulton's running game is the best it has been in 5 years, and maybe even the best in school history. Part of which may be due to rogan...On defense, the falcons have the best front 7 in the past 5 years. Alcoa can vouch to that. They were held to 20. WAY BELOW THEIR AVERAGE! only 1 other team scored more in a game this year. and that team was catholic, and freeney was not allowed to play. The 2nd matchup, catholic only scored 13.

Why not? Maybe because we've been there three out of the last four years, Or because, we are about to be there four out of the last five years? Either way it goes, None of the teams left in the State Championship Hunt has as much experience as these Falcon Seniors(IMO).

Who did instigate the cheap shots? Was it the hard hitting of the falcons? 1) Defensive lineman put a mean hit on Bounds( Carter lineman who missed his block late hit that D-Lineman) 2) Freeney runs up the field(as always) and a Linebacker from Carter late hits him. Falcons provoke no late hits. Carter just cant stand to KNOW they cant beat Fulton. Now, you go watch on Demand. You never once saw a Fulton player throw cheap shots. Get back with me after you watch it please!

now you fulton fans listen here. Scott county used to beat yuns into the ground u remember that in the 90's lol i sure do so i dont wanna here scott co being made fun of. Scott shoulda beat kingston Ac and LA. dont bash LA id take wilson cates over any player that was ever at fulton cause he played wiht heart and had the most will to win ive ever seen. The fulton falcons day will come just like it did in the 90's what goes around comes around. I stomped rule high a couple times in my day also aka fulton. Go LA i hope yuns get them I know all the odds are against you but anything can happen on a friday night.
My friend all of this is in the past. I know for a fact that Scott County, has not beaten fulton that many times. And over the last four years, How many times has Fulton shut them out. You have no dog in this fight, Because, quite frankly, Scott County will never win a Championship. Your team is lame, year in, year out. PERIOD. If im not mistaken the two years the Falcons won the championship, LA, got put out in the Quarterfinals(correct me if im wrong). When was the last time Scott County lost in the Quarterfinals of the playoffs? I'll be waiting on your reply.

Im a Fulton fan, and in my eyes, if Fulton didn't win it all last year. LA would have. They had a great team last year. But Most fans are still talking about last year. SO WHAT. its over. This year LA doesn't have hope of staying within 50 points of the Falcons. No Bash intended, Just speaking truth. How many points did Catholic put up on LA?

My last word on this game.First of all Fulton#???? before you answer a question know what youre talking about I still have a player at Carter and he still wears #11(see prep xtra stats leaders in ints and receiving)and as for the one playing college ball keep eyes open and mouth shut and youll learn about that too(he will actually be eligble to play in college ACT GPA and all that stuff that seems to miss so many on Braodway).Now as for the game Fulton has a great team but I still think both teams have the same problem as the playoffs approach we have to face teams that are better than us eventually us in Fulton and Fulton in Cathlic so Basketball is getting ever closer for both teams.Carter failed to take advantage of the oppurtunities that the Falcons gave us in the first half on Friday nite and our program is not to the level yet where we can afford to do that.I would discuss our offensive performance but it would be too painful it was pitiful(no plan no direction no execution).But the bright side to all of this is we play Rutledge on Friday nite and then the new season starts with a home playoff game which I think Carter will win and then the rematch and I think this time around Carter may remember where the playmakers are and not go into the game thinking that Fulton has too many athletes we can win games like this but that attitude has to start at the top then the players can start to believe.Don't be satisfied just to score.That is sure what it looked like on Friday nite.GO HORNETS!!!!!!

Not that it really surprises me that he's going to play. From the top down (and I mean administration), Fulton High School has said that winning comes first when it comes to football and nothing else comes a close second. I don't know why I or anyone else would be surprised about a player being let back on the team who just walked out of a meeting because he was mad another player had been kicked off the team. This is the school that allowed a guy back on the team after he served a sentence for armed robbery.
What you need to do Solomon is check your facts. Freeny's games suspension had nothing to do with adiministration calls. Coatney told Freeny and the Seniors on the team, that if he acted right and stepped up to the plate, he would be back on the team. Dont you think watching your team lose to a region rival was not enough punishment. And do yourself a favor, Dont refer to any of Fulton's team members being let back on the team for armed robbery. Nobody searved sentences for that. You really shouldn't refer to something you dont know about(END OF DISCUSSION).
Yea .. Fulton I found out about Stinson at practice today ..I went up there and you are correct Blair was the QB ... I think he will do OK ... they will just need to establish the running game before trying to pass ... I saw Freeney out there and him playing TE is kinda funny ... the other teams will never expect that ... plus his move to Outside LB will be new too ..glad some of those DB and WR's like Vic Smith have come on so they can move Freeney to TE and DB ... hw will be hard for a LB to match up with in short passing game ... and his blitzing from LB will be strong too !!!

Hey Fulton .. do you know if Stinson is playing friday night or Blair ???? Anybody else out ???? Is Mr Freeney made his way back yet ?????
Blair will be Starting. Stinson will be out from 2-5 weeks with a high ankle sprain. Freeny is back. But it will be a surprise as to what position he will be making his debut at.

When was the Last time a team from Region 1-3A won a state Championship.(This should put all talks about region strenth to bed)

I am really Quite tired of all these Carter fans thinking that they can just come from 4A(Getting Routed week in, week out) comepete with a team like Fulton. Carter would have a hard time placing 4th in region 2-3A, led along any of the other teams make it. Im not Knocking Carter, because they have the 8-0 record to be proud of. But to Carter fans, Back to Back Region Championships cannot compare to Back to Back State Championships. And Back to Back 9-1 Seasons aren't that bad either.

Out of all of this Wing T, ran to perfection and incredible tempo. Elrod and Rogers. I have yet to hear any recievers names. Fulton doesn't play team ball? Ok. These Seniors have Been to the Championship game 2 times already, winning by a combine total of 66-15. This is the Same thing Greenbrier fans tried to say about the 2004 Class 3A Mr. Football Roger Herndon. Not sure that he even had 100 yards. The 2004 team Had 3 Sophmore starters on the Defensive line. Which all return this year with an added Terrance Cobb(2 year starter), Brandon Winters(3 year Starter), Dennis Freeney(3 year starter), Dennis Rogan(nuff said), Blake Gildner(2 Year starter). Bubba Stokes(Stats speak for themselves). The experience is there. And by the way, I've followed this team all year, and they have been gelled ever since summer practices and scrimmages!
