halls won this one with no problems. lockwood hit 91 and hit 89 six times in the first inning. the game was never really close. i guess all that press in the paper might stop after tonight. best luck to karns the rest of the season. the halls lineup ripped the baseball tonight 1-9 impressive win

halls i believe is just now starting to click after the early season let down against powell. i think that was the best thing that could of happened to us early in the year to get our heads on strait and get us ready for a state tournament run. karns must have a pretty good team this year but i dont understand all the hype they get in the paper, but who knows will see how good they are tomorrow if they can beat the big kat then they will def. have my respect cause there aint many teams that can beat him when he is on.

Travis Borum will also help Halls...I know they have more than Lockwood, Phibbs, and Borum but those are the three that i know of...anybody from Halls able to update how Borum is doing after being diagnosed with diabetes...I played ball with him while both of us were at Clinton...he has always been a good player..JW if he has been affected much because of it.

nope stronger then ever and doing good. but back to the post wondering who all halls has coming back they have 2 all region players coming back in borum and lockwood and a bunch of sophmores that have really gotten better. they also have trey lucas who is a really good catcher. zach lawson and cody phibbs look to battle for the number 2 spot in the rotation with sophmore gary cooper being the prob. #4 man in the rotation. they also have there starting 3rd baseman back who hit over 350. last year. so halls has alot coming back and look for them to be in the boro.

the bottom line is that if oak ridge gets the ball to dowdell they probably win the game. i agree the only times ive seen domsic play this year he has ball hogged. he needs to realize that dowdell is oak ridges best player and the ball needs to go through him. bottom line. i agree that when stephens gets back that oak ridge will be a whole lot better team. but what is the deal at oak ridge with players being suspended. every year for about the last 5 they have had kids that are not playing because of grades that would be a big time help. but back to sharp he is a d-1 mid major player. i mean no one gives the kid credit that he deserves. he kept halls in the game in the first half and in the second he did everything he had to do to win. the only thing i see wrong with cams game is sometimes he is to unselfish.

Can someone explain to me why Cameron Sharp's name keeps getting brought up in the POWELL BASKETBALL message board??? Could it be that he wishes he was a part of the Powell High School brotherhood?? You know he's a good player, but I certainly don't believe he is better than everyone in Knoxville. Someone needs to get some humility and take an attitude check. Besides from what I've heard, Clay Segars "ain't" bad either.

"pistol" cam sharp from halls is def the best in knox county after the game he played tonight against ac there is no doubt in my mind. he was in control of the tempo pushed it when he had it slowed it down when he didnt. i believe he had 18 points but only missed two shots from the field. he prob had anywere from 5-7 assist and no telling how many steals. i know there are alot of great players in knoxville but ive seen most of them and no one does the things this kid does. not to mention halls is my pick to win the district out right over oak ridge. but i would like to here your alls thoughts about cam and who u all think is the best player in knoxville
