With Page and Goodpasture winning last night, that should give the tiebreakers over East and Westmoreland to Lipscomb.  All with 8 victories now: East has 4 opponents with 50% or more victories.  Westmoreland and Lipscomb have 6 opponents now with 50% or more.  Westmoreland and Lipscomb both have 4 victories have over opponents with 50%+ wins.  Westmoreland opponents have 45 victories, Lipscomb opponents have 49 victories.  Lipscomb should get 3 seed, correct?

Let's see FCS moves to Div II and says that "work studies" does not allow the athletes to be eligible. Question then, Why is CPA, Goodpasture, Lipscomb allowed to find money through the churches and that make the athletes eligible???? No one will answer correctly, because they hide behind the fancy church doors and sit in the church and pretend that they are helping these families as they join the church and that is how they are discounted into the school. Oh wait the families do not even have to go to the church, just become a member.....hmmm interesting for sure???

 

Why won't CPA join division II like FCS? hmmm....

I think Lipscomb wins this game 24-23. Maplewood will score on 11 safeties and an extra point. Lipscomb will score 2 touchdowns, 5 extra points, 2 grand slams, and lose 1 point for the bagpipes.

I was gonna be done posting, but after reading this garbage, I just had to respond once more, and not in my usual sarcastic tone. Giles County had a great team! They executed great, they played hard, they probably should have won. Bottom line is they didn't, not because of officiating, not because they are a poor public school, but because Lipscomb had some luck and some guts also. Ahapplet, I'm not sure if your even serious about the bs that you post, but you can't be serious that money had anything to do with Friday's game. Maybe Lipscomb has some advantages, maybe not, but whatever advantages they have, sure didn't show for the first 46 and a half minutes of the game. Giles County had every opportunity to win that game. You can get on here and say what you want about Lipscomb, but there are good and bad people that are both rich and poor. And just like being poor doesn't make you a bad person, neither does having money make you a bad person either. As I have said many times, you can't legislate fairness. Get rid of the privates and someone else will have an advantage, it could be open zone schools, or schools that put more money into their athletic budget, or just schools that have better athletes, or get lucky and hire a better coach. As nicely as I can say it, I hope you move on in life and don't dwell on this too long. No one at Lipscomb has made your life bad.

One final observation for the day. Historically speaking, football games tend to be directly correlated to the number of coacht posts. While the beginning of this week was fairly even, it is quite obvious that lipscomb athletic supporters are outposting the giles county faithful. The middle school in town tries to, both feeder schools have volunteer coaches and its not likely they will be nearly as intergrated or efficient in running OC's offense as the system DL is able to. And under OC the fresh have began running the high school offense. They couldn't have hardly run it before he came to the school. But running it now should pay nice dividends in the years to come. IMO the freshman class is very talented.

Wow I didn't know a public school system would have a pay system which included dividends. Very forward thinking down there in Alabama.
