  1. i don't think that greenbrier can match up with pearl-cohns speed and the size of there line

PC should score more then 21 points against greenbrier

PC could beat greenbrier by more than 21 points

PC is the best team white house has played this season and white house match good against PC even without some starters

    timbdp

You are so good at predicting

    who will win

    should be a good game

    game time at 7:00

    thanks

  2. Probably could have used a better word than stale. I just mean Greenbriar runs maybe 5 plays out of various formations. No big play threat. They do an excellent job not turning the ball over. They are a very good well coached team but will need morethan 3 yards and a cloud of dust v.s a very speedy athletic defense. Good luck to the Bobcats regardless. I have the utmost respect for their program.

I hope that the 4 yard and cloud of dust method was ok with you tonight

  3. About Edward Wynn he is a transfer from HHS and out ran Sheffield and Sawyer ,the two sumner county giants who finished one two in track, when he was healthy, so he has speed and is a little cocky beleive me I know the kid. I dont know how he is eligible but he is. He was going to be a starter for Hville until he transfered and they miss him at his position.

    SC-by 3

Enjoyed watching Wynn in warm ups,,, Kicking at the shield and spitting on the shield...

Nice first run...then he got his bell rung. He was also laying on the shield

Cocky yes...but he ain't all that...

How many yards did he go backwards????????

Big win for the Cats!!!!! One at a time.

  4. All I know is that I was there today and I personally thought that both teams played with much heart. They both deserved the best , but in all honesty the better team won.  Way to go Falcons!

I was talking to some of the Fulton players after the game and they had nothing but good to say about the Greenbriar players.  They said that they were by far the most classy team they have played all year ( that is just small country town courtesty for ya,,  thanks Greenbriar)  The Fulton kids Ibelieve if they could would send a great thanks to all you who were on the field wearing the green. You really impressed them.

I was impressed with all the Greenbriar fans before and after the game. You guys really are great and we as Fulton Fans say thank you so much for your courtesy. You made it a very pleasant trip for us and a great atmosphere for the greatest game in the world. Really hope we can see you all next year.

All trash talk aside Herndon is a great ballplayer and we all at Fulton know that. It was not his day just as every great ballplarer has bad says. He is a great player and I hope to be seeing him on Sat. in the future.

Ill close by syaing once again,    Greenbriar thankyou from the depths of our heart not only for a great game but for the good classy, Christ -like attitudes that your team and fans displayed.

Oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go Falcons, we are proud of you and you truly deserve the 2nd ring.  You all,  players and coaches are champs.

I want to say thankyou to the Fulton coaches for all the great off the field Christian values that you  coaches teach those boys. ( Ive been around you all and I know) I am pround of you all!

It was that mean Falcon O- Line that aided in this one thanks guys,  way to go defence, you hung in there and held a very good back. I cant wait til next year!

    Go Fulton Falcons!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say this is the best post I have read from a Falcon Fan. Thank you!

And please no more bashing Herndon, I'm sure he could care less about what you say about him, he's that kinda person. Roge is by far one of the best guys you'll ever meet in your life. And I'll even make a bet on that one!

Msmoker - you have to be the dumbest person I've ever seen post on here. I have nothing but respect for Fulton, but all you've done is bash what Greenbrier people have put on here. You're obviously not a Fulton FAITHFUL!!!!!

Again, Congrats to the Bobcats on an AWESOME season. And Congrats to Fulton on back to back state titles.

  5. Bobcats....what a great season. Yeah, maybe it didn't end the way you wanted it too, but you went as long as you could, and faught the whole year. You earned the respect of many! Thanks for the best football season Greenbrier has ever had!!!!

To the Seniors - You guys went out with something no other Greenbrier team can say....You had the chance to run out of the tunnel at MTSU and you played for the State Title. You guys are awesome and I'm glad to be apart of such a great class. Thanks again for a great run.

To all the Bobcats coming back next year - Don't listen to what anyone says...You guys are still going to be good, just work hard. Thats all it takes. We believe in you!!!

To the small town of Greenbrier - The crowd we had today was unbelieveable. I knew we had sold alot of tickets at the high school, however, I didn't realize just how many that was until right at game time when I turned around and looked up in the stands. Yall are great! And for everyone who stuck around by the buses waiting for the guys to come out. That was awesome, and cheering for EVERY player who walked out of those doors. Just another example of what a great town we live in!!!!

Fulton - You had a very good ball team. Yall deserved what you got. We didn't give you as good of a run as I thought......we just didn't capitalize on things. (Not taking anything away from yall, but I'm sure the score could have been much closer) Congrats on your win! And good luck to yall next season!

Ok Sorry I'm done blabbing now......

  6.

WE WILL TURN THE BOBCATS INTO BOBKITTENS! ;)

haha good one, like we haven't heard that one before!!

only 21 hours till game time!! HURRY UP AND GET HERE!!!

  7. Wow...maybe it'll show me running water out to them at some point or another! :D (You have to admit them boys were never thirsty when I was there!!)

I'm so ready for it to be Saturday.

Guys....this is a once in a life time feeling, don't lose it. Go out there and play with all you have. Win or Lose the community is proud of you and the accomplishments you've had over the years. This year's team will be talked about 25 years from now. Yall have turned Greenbrier from a small one red light town to Greenbrier County!!! (just a joke)

GBT57...I know who you are and I want to say something. Uawake2 is obviously a BIG supporter in Greenbrier Athletics, probably someone you know well. So don't be to mean to him/her...you never know who it could be!!! After all here in Greenbrier the saying is..."Everybody knows everybody and everybody calls ya friend! :D

And I'll leave with the famous words to the announcer on Waterboy.....

"It's the last game of the season, can't hold nothing back now!"

  8. I too would like to say Congrats to Roge on his award. (Even though he's already recieved a pat on the back from me :( )

To let all you guys know... today when they announced at school that Roger won you could hear people clapping and "woohooing" it was pretty cool, the kind of thing that'll send chills up your spine. During lunch, what was it the students were talking about? ROGER...everyone was so happy for him. And to top it off, we had some Freshman make 2 big signs saying congrats and hung them in the front lobby! I'd have to say I love it here in Greenbrier, however...if Fulton has 15 Rogers I might consider moving!!!!! :(

But back to Saturday...I agree with what alot of you have said...the one with the most heart will win this ball game. And everyone is talking about how these bobcats have been together for SO MANY YEARS....well I can personally say I've been there with them every step of the way (from jr. pro to middle school and now high school)...and if they play like the team I've seen over the past however many years its been....they'll pull out the victory whether it be 3-0, 12-10, or even 14-13!!! (Not predictions, just random scores)

Not saying Fulton wont play with heart because in a game like this, who doesn't? I just have that feeling.

Good Luck Cats....last game of the season...go out with a Bang!!!

  9. OK Falcons....we've heard you loud and clear. Alot of people didn't expect you to be here again....you didn't listen. Ya'll have made it back to the state with a team full of underclassmen in a "rebuilding" year. Congratulations!!! Now get your rings!!!

Ok, Well first of all let me congradulate my bobcats on a well played football game. The feeling is great isn't it?

Now the quote above, I have one thing to say about it to the Bobcats....DON'T PLAY FOR THE RINGS!!!! All it is is a peice of jewlry, yeah its great to have them I wouldn't give mine up for the world. But two years ago when we were playing in the State Championship I never once thought "I'm gonna win this for the ring" As a matter of fact, I don't recall ever thinking about it till it was all said and done....So...I say this again like I have before....Play for the love of the game, you're community and for PRIDE!!!!

(Not bashing what you said Pigeons4life, I just wanted to get that off my chest.)

Looking forward to a fun day next Saturday!!!!!

Good Luck Bobcats....and as always STAY FOCUSED

  10. Well its almost that time....2 more days! Its amazing to me to get on here and read post from people outside of Greenbrier wishings us good luck....Bobcats, its obvious that we all believe in you and that ALL of Middle Tennessee is cheering ya on!

One quick thing for the guys.......

    What is a real team?

The Real team inside, are the ones who win games, win districts, and win championships at state, the real team inside never have attitudes, and never look and points fingers one the mistake,The real team inside has the perfect plays and the right person to show u how its done,The real team inside, can be found through the heart of loving the game......I read this and to me, I think its sums up everything about you guys!!!!!!

    Remember.....STAY FOCUSED!!!

And Happy Thanksgiving to all you guys!!!

  11. WOW!!! Nothing like entering your home town only to be greated by 3 Police Cars to escort you into town!!!!!!

GREAT GAME TONIGHT CATS!!!!! I was a little nervous at first, but like always yall pulled through and played a great game. You could have easily folded many times, but you fought hard and pulled off a great win.

Now, on to next week. Practice hard, STAY FOCUSED. We're behind you ALL THE WAY!!!!!!

  12. Anyway....BACK TO FOOTBALL!!!!

I'll be making the trip Friday night!! And I am hoping to see a game like was played friday night for the Bobcats! I really haven't heard much talk about JSS other than they have a "really tough defense". I really hope that Bobcats can fight to the finish and come out with another "W"

    Good Luck Guys!

  13. ok....well after spending 45 minutes catching up on everything I missed while I was away I would like to say CONGRATS to the Bobcats!

Heres a run down of MY friday night.....

I'm walking through Disney World, the "happiest place on earth", and I look down at my phone and see that its game time back in Tennessee. Me along with some others sing the intro that is played every Friday night. I get a phone call saying that the game has started off rocky, this phone calls make me VERY nervous. Not to long after I revieve a call...Roger scores....7-0!!!!! Time passes, Jacob into the endzone 14-0...and within just a few minutes I recieve another phone call "its a Roger Herndon touchdown 21-0!" (Ok now picture this, one of Greenbrier's biggest fans, missing only her 3rd game in six years, walking through a CROWDED park, I'm screaming to the people with me whats going on. Needless to say everyone was looking at me like I was crazy.... lol)

I then recieve 2 more phone calls....then the final one (my favorite)...BOBCATS WIN 35-0!!!!! At the point I'm in the "happiest place on earth" and I'm now the "Happiest girl on earth"

I'm extremely mad that I'm missed what seemed to be one of the best game we've played this year. I mean hearing the people yelling on the other side of the phone just made me want to be there even more.

One more thing, and I'm playing favorites here.....Daniel I heard you had yet another outstanding performace....AWESOME. I heard many other great stories of the ball game and how everyone played big, but Daniel is a good friend....gotta give him his personal pat on the back!

Congrats to the Bobcats on a great win. NOW, remember what we do....STAY FOCUSED & one game at a time. That seems to be working for ya!!!! And don't worry I WILL BE THERE THIS FRIDAY NIGHT!!!!! You can count on that!

  14. I agree....I highly doubt that anyone was trying to be cocky.

When two good teams are playing each other, its who stays focused and plays hard that is going to come out on top. I'm sure thats all that was being said, nothing negative about ur team. I know the guys know that it wont be no walk in the park. And I also know that they will work their butts off this week to make sure they are as prepared as possible!!!

    GOOD LUCK GUYS!

  15. The Bobcats started this journey years ago.  Some in Jr. Pro, some just in the last few years, but you guys have got the heart and drive to see this through to the end.  Don't look towards Murfreesboro, just look toward Friday night, and focus, focus, focus.  Don't let this season end with unfinished business.

I love it, just my thinking exactly.....Don't look towards nothing but THIS FRIDAY NIGHT! I know our guys realize this is going to be a tough fight. Its always difficult playing that good of a team twice, and so close together. But I have faith that our guys will work hard and pull it out, they just have to keep their heads on straight.

I'm not going to be at the game friday night due to a Volleyball trip to Florida. This will be only my 3rd game in 6 years to miss. Football team: if you for some reason have no one to play this game for, play it for us!!!

    GOOD LUCK! GO BOBCATS!

  16. AWESOME game tonight guys. Even though it was cold I really enjoyed the game.

It was good to see Giz back on the field tonight!

Daniel Pryne had one heck of a ball game. Congrats my friend, keep it up.

Many others whom I'm afraid to start posting in fear I'd leave someone out play excellent tonight.

Keep working hard. And just a little note to the football team: Don't play for the ring you could recieve at the end of the year, play for the love of the game, pride and for your community! Trust me, it feels good to win a big game knowing that you're playing for more than a peice of jewlery.

Stay focused, don't look ahead, one day at a time!!!!!

    Go get em guys.

  17. Its funny how a football thread can turn into the David Lipscomb guys talking about Greenbrier girls, whom you would know NOTHING about. (trust me talking to them on the phone and knowing them ARE different) THIS IS FOOTBALL!! Hate it for ya, but if you wanna talk about the girls take it somewhere else, this is STUPID!!!

The only thing these girls have in common with the football game is that I'm sure they will be attending it THATS ALL.

Now back to what the post is all about.....

I hear the McNairy is about 50/50 (passing/rushing) in their game. I have faith in my guys like every week. Good Luck Greenbrier!!!!!

  18. Well I haven't had much to say about this game coming up other than I know it'll be one heck of a ball game to watch. I have just returned from the field, the camera crew up there working, coaches getting things ready, student section being ropped off....I'll have to say that its games like this that I'm going to miss when I'm gone. I want to say Good Luck to the Cats. Stick to your game, play hard, give it all or nothing and I'm confident you'll come out number one!

Page, have a safe trip and be careful, if you blink you'll miss our town :)

  19. "How about Greenbrier's Roger Herndon??? Over the past 2 seasons, it is really hard to imagine a player who has rushed for more yards than this kid. He has taken two very unathletic teams to the semifinals & the quarterfinals over the past two seasons. Don't be shocked if the Greenbrier Bobcats are the 3A state champs in 2004. "

I'll have to agree with you that Roger Herndon is a dominating player, however, i'm a little confused on one thing. Correct me if I misunderstood what you're saying.....but, are you saying that the Greenbrier Bobcats are not athletic? Because I'm not seeing it that way, I have been watching Greenbrier football for as long as I can remember. I think that the past two years we have had very talented teams. If you don't mind, please explain what you mean.

  20. I wasn't able to make it to the game until there was 3:19 left on the clock. I had been playing volleyball and busted my butt to get there even though my guys were behind by 16. Bobcats, this game would have been great to win, but ya know, you win some you lose some. Put this behind you and focus on the region games yall have coming up. I have faith in you along with the rest of GB.

Dandy - I think I like you, lol. I love the songs you write, even though they're about my team.

Good Luck to both Greenbrier and White House in the coming weeks!!
