  2. mustang69 ... you know why most stray animals stick around a house? Mostly cause they are lost and secondly cause they are being fed. If you don't feed the animal, it won't keep sticking around. At least that is what mama said.

    B)

Dude, you are deep. But good advice. I'm gonna try my best. B)

  3. Hello, I know you have missed me. I truly thought I would never post on this website again because it is not for me to say but here it goes: What in the sam hill was Mansfield thinking last night? I had to call a few friends to insure what I heard on the radio was true last night(had to work midnights, couldn't be at the game). When I got up a little bit ago I got the confirmation I needed to once again post on this site. First of all why would you put your quarterback in on defense and risk the chance of an injury? We are going into the playoffs and he hasn't played much, if any, defense this year and then you go put him in the game in week 10!? That's just their first mistake: then you leave your key players in most of the second half when we already had the game won, again you took the risk of getting one of your key players hurt one week before the playoff game. What the flip, what was Mansfield trying to prove? Yeah I heard it when he put the second string in and they were scored on, so what, that was a learning experience for them, one touchdown would not have hurt us, two would not even had made a difference in the game. These boys deserved the chance to go in and get some playing time yet our GREAT coaches took them out after one little mistake. Sounded to me, on the radio, like their were several mistakes made by our first string missing tackles themselves, yet your inexperienced boys miss one, get scored on and get pulled out when we were up over twenty something points. What was the rational in that? Who were they trying to spotlight last night? Donald had a good game, not taking ANYTHING away from him-great player-great attitude.Boo was on the side lines with an injury-no one really left that they usually key in on. I just can't believe that ANY coach with ANY common sense would have played a game out like this one was played out. I find myself embarassed to be a Mustang fan at this point, my apologies go out to Humbolt fans and players for our lack of sportsmanship by our coaches decisions. Don't get me wrong, not taking anything away from the Big Blue players-great job of doing what you were TOLD to do. Coaches: that was no way of setting an example of what good sportsmanship is and integrity. But that isn't the biggest concern, I was greatly concerned about one of the key players getting hurt when it was unnecessary to place them on the field in WEEK 10!!!!!!!!!! Again I say what the heck were they thinking or were they even thinking at all? Maybe they have some early signs of Alzheimer's, they are some key signs here-repeating the same plays over and over because they can't remember any thing but handing it off and running up the middle, making irrational decision's, forgetting your manners, etc. (not making fun of people with alzheimer's before you get on here dogging me for that-just giving the similarities;my father-in-law died with it). Good luck BIG BLUE in round one, maybe your coaches may get back some of their "raising" and act like leaders and make common sense choices- that's not alot to ask of them or is it? Now, satamqb haters- start your finger lashing, like I give a rats tail. Have fun but don't leave your self wide open, I am learning from Mansfield how to throw some cheap shot's and make some irrational replies-hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LET HER ROLL BABY (what DOES that mean)hahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO STANGS-YOU BY YOURSELF'S MAKE US PROUD!!!!!

Actually, I can probably speak for the majority of the fans and say here....WE ABSOLUTELY HAVE NOT MISSED YOU. By the way some of the questions you ask are legitimate concerns or "food for thought" BUT your constant attitude and crying...and attacking other posters have gotten very old.

  4. In Huntingdon a balanced attack is being able to RUN out of the Wing T, Jet, or I formations! I've listened to somebody up behind me in the stands scream for the last 6 years " Throw the ball coach!" until the Liberty game when he started screaming " It's a dad blamed shame when you cant run the ball in to score and have to pass every stinking down!" B):o

  5. Milan will take the next matchup. Too strong. Anybody who says Coach Morris call at the goalline was stupid, think twice. Everyone in Carroll County knew Milan was about to pound it in. Why not throw it out in the flat play action style? Nobdoy on here would have doubted his call had Wells not dropped the ball. Would they? The guy was wide open..nobody within 15 yards of him. Yea, I have no doubt giving the ball to Coleman he would have scored. I dont have any doubts about that. Freak stuff happens especially when the ball slips out of the QB's hand. IMO, the Dawgs will be in the Buro' come December.

OK one last thing on Milan-Huntingdon and I am done with it until/if a rematch.....Morris can cry and whine until the cows come home and it wont change anything about the last game. Huntingdon had the ball inside the 5 on three different occasions and came away with zip, some of that had to do with Milans D MOST of it had to do with our own shortcomings. Ya'll are welcome to your opinions but mine is still this......If both teams play up to their best potential Huntingdon is still two TD's better. Good luck Milan with the rest of your season (especially week 10) and we look forward to a return engagement.

  6. So what did it say, my hero?

He said that Huntingdons D-line was WEAK (especially up the middle). :thumb:

Nah, just gripping about holding calls and such. Frustration talking I suppose.

I will admit most ref's, umpires, and such are blind in one eye and cant see out the other though.

    yer pal,

  7. I look online, but found nothing. It must be in the printed edition. what did it say?

It was an article reprinted from the Milan Mirror Exchange, it basically said that the refs beat them, Huntingdon didnt. Does Morris have a losing record to any other program? He is now 6-7 against Huntingdon. :thumb:

  8. In high school I don't think it matters if the ball was touched as long as it goes in the endzone. Anytime a ball goes into the endzone on a kickoff it is blown dead. If he had possesion and then fumbled it into the endzone I think it would have been different.

Is the pass interference call the one on Brandon?

If it was, I think it was a good call. He never turned around to make a play on the ball. However, it was a good time to interfere, the Milan reciever was behind our coverage and all they got was a 15yd penalty.

I will defer to ya'lls judgement on those, between watching NFL, UT and high school the rules are all different. Once again GREAT JOB both teams.

  9. First let me say I did not give Milan enough credit heading into this one, once again they have only reloaded. AWESOME effort from both defenses. Huntingdon still just aint clicking on all cylinders on O, but tonight Milan gets the credit for that. If I have one gripe it is this.......on first and goals we need to FEED Chris the ball and thats not taking anything away from BOO, but give me Chris Donald and 4 downs and 9 times out of 10 we're gonna score. Great gutted out win Stangs. And not taking anything away from The Dawgs either but

    1) The kickoff return man on their 1st half scoring drive touched the ball obviously, that should have at the least gave us a safety.

    2) The pass interference call in the same series was BULL.

There is no doubt in my mind that even if Guy is back by week 10 Milan WILL beat Westview. Huntingdon cant let down we still have problems that need worked out to get ready for a playoff run and once again PEAK at the right time. To me this is Mike Mansfield and Staffs STRONGEST asset, they just have that magic touch to gets the Stangs playing their best football at the right time. I expect to see a Huntingdon- Milan rematch in the 3rd week of the playoffs.

    ;)

  10. Definitly watch your speed coming in, last week coming home from Trenton there were three different troopers hid out between Atwood and Huntingdon......Speaking of speeding at this time I would like to send out a GIAGANTIC thank you to one of Huntingdons alums who with out his assistance I would undoubtedly be rotting away in the Benton County jail over a speeding ticket right now............. :thumb:

SHELLY: You need to stop flirting with these two hooligans, the FATMAN might find out!!! :P:o:D

  11. Don't freak out on me 12 yr.oldchamps - Senior Babe Ruth, our colors were actually red, white and blue. Back in my playing days w/Mustang69 :)

YEAH<YEAH<YEAH  But what was on the front of the jersey?

Dont let him fool you 12yrold, he HATED Milan and he LOVED Huntingdon.

I didnt want to admit it til now but before the last two years playoff games Bulldog Fan #2 has faxed us the Milan gameplan..................... :P

  12. Man, That was 17-18 years ago. I have since had a blood transfusion - Purple flows from my veins on Friday night - Orange on Saturday!!! Mustang, what about Friday night. I think for Milan to win they will have to spread Huntingdon out a little bit. The only way to do that is pass or run to the corners. I don't know if we can beat you to the corners so my guess is we will have to pass.

I think that for Milan to have a chance they will have to throw the ball (some)with success, BUT I just gotta feeling Morris will go with the 3 yards and a cloud of dust, try to maintain possesion, and hope he can win it with the kicking game IF Milan can limit Htowns O and keep the score close going into the 4th. I say HTown 26 Milan 14

  13. I wasn't trying to be a comedian..When I do post stuff like that I always put a Smiley Face expressing sarcasm.. How many are expected at this game? Are there any other great games in West Tn besides this one that would hold up people from coming?

It aint no problem, I was being sarcastic as well. I am feeling the love......... :thumb:

  14. :thumb: I've been pacing myself all year for this one!!

    Bulldawg Fan 2 and 12 yrold.....Whassup?

WestTn2004State....You are really impressing me with the new found attitude, I knew you had it in you!

The complexity of this game has changed from what we are used to. This game while not for all the marbles, is for more than regular season bragging rights. A Milan win and they control their own destiny regarding the 72A championship, Huntingdon needs this game and a Westview loss to Milan for the 72A championship BUT 2nd coming out of this region is sitting prettier as far as playoff seeding if you ask me. Anyway it's a MUST WIN for both schools.

Huntingdons opponents records are a combined 22-14 while Milans are 11-20

Huntingdon is scoring at a 31 ppg and giving up 10.

Milan is scoring 34 ppg and giving up 13.

    Huntingdon is at home.

Huntingdon is playing their best defense right now since the 2003 state championship game, IMO.

If we are efficient and smart in the passing game Huntingdon should win by at least 2 touchdowns.

Will Milan continue to run the 5-2 considering how Donald has ate their lunch up the middle the last 2 years? I figure on seeing 9 in the box and them hoping for the best against the Huntingdon passing attack....What are ya'lls thoughts? :P

  15. FYI Folks

Milan Bulldogs will be the only undeafted team in 2A football come Sat. morning.

maybe by 1 point, but we'll take it!

    GO DAWGS! :thumb:

FYI- Milan is the only undefeated 2A school right now, understandably so since according to Coach T their schedule ranking is 49th....but they wont be undefeated after Friday. :thumb:

  16. WOW. Beings you guys are so fired up I'm gonna adjust my game prediction, I think it will be closer than I originally thought.....I'm gonna go with Huntingdon 33

    McKenzie-10

Emotion will only take you so far, and then talent takes over.

  17. Who said anything about horse manure? Was that just a lucky guess?

No, actually when Bohica mentioned "deposit" it didnt take a rocket scientist to figure out the rest of the plotline. And from what a cop friend told me this morning somebody did indeed make a deposit of their own last night at HHS. Bohica do you know anything about that? :D

  18. Hey watch it..........we got a Rural King and a Dairy Queen. Before long we'll be as popular as Como and Hico.....B)

Oh yeah.........just for the record.........thanks for the deposit on the practice field Stangs..........I know you have been waiting on someone to post about it..........

We gotta little deposit for ya'll too.....................

Surely your not gullible enough to actually believe anybody would do anything to your field are you? If you need that kinda stuff for motivation then it'll be an bigger blowout than I originally thought for the Stangs. Let me guess? One of your QB club members took some horse manure and threw it on your practice field to get the team a little more fired up? PLEASE. ;)
