1. Why weren't seth wadley and Joey Skogen playing? I thought they were eligible?? That will certainly help mcallie out a bunch....

Anyways- thought our boys looked good...I think they will slowly grow together- someone I think used the word cohesiveness...I think that is a good word...all the temple teams have grown AS TEAMS throughout the year and gotten much much better...I think that will happen again...

From what I was told they will be able to play in the next couple of weeks. It had something to do with the dates they transferred to McCallie from Temple last year. They had to wait a full year to be eligible.

QUOTE(takinit2thehoop @ Mar 18 2007 - 08:18 PM) 826416657All we hear is the same endless chatter about a team, that didn't even make it out of their own region, that is supposed to be the "best in the state". Why can't you just give credit to Temple for what they have accomplished by winning their 3rd Gold Ball in 5 years?

    I would agree.

I was not whining, I was just giving my opinion about the Mr. Basketball Award.

And why would I be jealous of whatever "Weat" Tennessee is? We just brought home a Gold Ball.

  4. Congratulations to the players who won Mr. Basketball, but I have to say that I disagree with the committees decision on not choosing Seth Skogen as the winner for 1A. I'm not taking anything away from MJ Brown, but I would like to know the reason why they chose him over Skogen?

  5. QUOTE(BIG D 55 @ Mar 17 2007 - 05:23 PM) 826415496I don't think Coach Skogen saying in his post game interview that he was going to take a vacation after winning the state championship was either classy or humble. Even though Temple is winning the game as I type this post, in my opinion there is no place for that kind of arrogance and disrespect.

Get a life . . . if you knew the things that Coach Skogen has done this year as a full-time pastor as well as giving his time coaching football and basketball at Temple you would understand that his comments were not done in arrogance or disrespect. Thanks Coach for all you've done for this great bunch of guys!

Oh, I forgot . . . I hope Coach Skogen does take a well-deserved vacation after winning a state championship.
