Can you send me a bracket link?

  2. I THINK CLEVELAND WILL PULL OUT THE WIN. IT WILL BE A CLOSE GAME (LIKE ALWAYS). ITS GOING TO BE BIG CROWD. I REMEMBER LAST YEAR WHEN CLEVELAND BEAT CUMBERLAND IN THE REGIONS AND THEY GOT MAD AND BUST OUT SOME OF CLEVELAND WINDOWS AND STOLE STUFF FROM THE CAR. EVERY ONE REMEMBER THATS . SO CUMBERLAND WATCH OUT.

    GO CLEVELANDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Wow! Had not heard about that! Anyway, it should be a great one(as it always is). We are feeling a little unhappy still about you guys beating us last year. Rivalry! Rivalry!

That being said, if CCHS plays AS A TEAM, it will be a long trip back to Cleveland!! Go Lady Jets!!!

  3. Hey fanatic! Wish I could have been there tonight. Jackson Co. down there is about as hard as it gets!

I just wish I could have seen our Lady Jets tonight. Beating Cookeville by 33 AT COOKEVILLE should send some shockwaves thru the state. I just wish whatever Coach Smith said before the game, he could can and bring it out before EVERY GAME!

I was wondering how the Lady Jets would take losing to a good Jackson County team. I guess I got my answer BIGTIME!! Keep it up, Lady Jets!!

    Now- On to Kentucky!!

  4. I am never ceased to be amazed by some people on here!

It really does not matter if someone is in A, AA, or AAA when it comes to playing girls basketball in the state of Tennessee, especially if we are talking about Middle Tennessee girls basketball. If you don't believe me, look at the teams in this Classic for the remainder of the year.

Go count up how many state championship appearances and victories there are in the past decade. That is part of the reason this is such a great tourney. It doesn't matter what a team's record is! What matters is who they have played and how prepared a team is when it all really matters!! A great example is the Livingston football team. What? 5 losses. They can't be very good! HOW WRONG WERE ALL THE TEAMS IN LA'S PATH THIS YEAR??!!??

Let's see how many state championship winners there are in this Classic. Jackson Co? Yep! Livingston? Yep! Clarkrange? Yep! I can go on and on.This Classic is all about playing the best teams available to get you ready for the rest of the year. This Classic will always separate the contenders from the pretenders. It also shows you what you need to know and do to become a contender. Listen to your coaches and give everything you've got, girls.

Best of luck to everyone involved!!

  5. Way to go Lady Jets!! Coming from behind 11 in the 4th quarter to win by 3 shows how we always play hard. To quote that great line from The Untouchables, never stop fighting!! The Lady Jets always seem to find a way to pull it out.

Give McMinn alot of credit also. They really are a quality team.

I think the big threes and free throws with the game on the line were really huge!! Looking forward to getting the whole team back together again.

    Keep 'er flying, Lady Jets!!

  6. This should be a good game! These are two probable top 10 or 15 teams in the state! As the previous writer said, it is hard to win on the mountain. Hopefully, we can make that so!!

Lady Jets did not play that well at Bradley. Yes, Bradle had some to do with that. Anyway, Lady Jets 71 McMinn 60.

    Keep flying high, Lady Jets!!

  7. There are a lot of teams that can blow their horn this early in the year. Having said that, I feel Livingston's victory over York clearly sends a message that basketball is alive and well in Hog-Eye country!!

BTW- Way to go Football boys for bringing the hardware all the way from the 'Boro back to Hog-Eye! I get disgusted how some of the others bad mouth our boys.

Way to go girls tonight in beating the Dragons. Wonder if we will get any credit?

  8.

    1. Fulton (till someone knocks them off the top)

    2. A-E (solid year in year out)

    3. Livingston (always good; this team is always in the top 15 in 3A)

    4. Kingston (this team could win other 3A leagues)

    5. Scott (solid, but...)

    6. Catholic (not enuf horses)

    7. A-C ( good enuf to go to playoffs just too hard a district!)

Mark my word- THIS WILL BE THE TOUGHEST DISTRICT IN THE STATE!!

    BEST WISHES TO EVERYONE!!

  9. :P Wow !! Way to go Lady Jets! We are all proud of you!!

We beat a quality team tonight. Now the question has to be asked- Cleveland by 18 in Cleveland and CCHS by 16 at our place. Who is better? For my opinion, I have to go with the Lady Jets.

    Score by Qtr:

    CCHS  12    12    19    23  =  66

    Cleve  14    16    14      6  =  50

Obviously the second half was the difference. It was raining threes, blocks, layups, etc. in the 2nd half.

Casha Foster led the way with 20(I believe) and Erica Martin with 18 or so. Everyone played hard, doing their part.

The crowd was great!! That was the most people I saw standing at the end of the game in a long time. What a hand our Lady Jets received!

Oh, by the way, see everyone soon at the District and Regional in Crossville.

    J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets!!

  12. So much of this game depends on which team shows up for both Cleveland and CCHS.

If the Cleveland team that played down there plays again, CCHS will be having a tough time winning.

If CCHS is clicking the way we have many times this year, THE STREAK will end!!

As sad as this is to say, IF the refs allow Cleveland to grab, push, and shove the way Cleveland was allowed to down there(Yes I was there), CCHS had better play great.

If the Cleveland that played against Bradley last Friday night plays, CCHS will win by 5+.

Prediction CCHS in a barnburner by 3, with the crowd making all the difference.

    Go Lady Jets!! :)

BTW- District and Region is @ CCHS lest everyone forget.

  13. Ditto that!! The Jets have in essence 2 players back from last year's team that has any playing experience. We just had the #4 ranked team in AAA beat and had trouble closin the deal. Still.

It is amazing that we are that competitive this early in the year. And if you are wondering Bradley is definitely the real deal!!

Keep up the great job Jets!!
