  1. From what I have heard, Doyle is not exactly a class act. This is just hearsay but I have been told that before the final Doyle said in the Memphis paper that the only way that Oak Ridge would win would be if OR broke all the legs of the Farragut guys. I was wondering if anyone from Memphis could verify this. I would have looked myself but it costs money to look at archives of the Commercial Appeal.

The "broken legs" quote was completely taken out of context by then newspaper, as usual. I was told he was joking around with the guy and it was more in reference to the outcome of their last meeting (8-1). He didn't say the only way for them to win was to "break legs".

  2. I'm sure Brentwood has a nice little soccer program over there, but they couldnt have beaten Farragut for the State Championship. First because THEY LOST TO OAK RIDGE. Brentwood didn't even get to the big game. Lets not forget Oak Ridge, who beat Brentwood, went on to lose to Farragut 5-0, thus having a record of 0 wins and 3 loses to the Admirals over the season, only scoring 1 goal in the three games to the Admiral's 16 goals. Second, Farragut's defense was amazing. Britcher #22 and Vukoder #26 and the other defenders were impossible to break through. Farragut's defense so was good other teams couldn't even get clean shots on goal more than two or three times a game. The only time Farragut was scored upon in the tournament was due to the coach subbing in the freshmen at key positions too early in the second half. And Third, Doyle #13 owns the soccer field every game he plays. Whether its kicking field goals in football games or scoring goals in soccer games, the kid comes through when you need him to. Sorry but no one could have beaten Farragut.

  3. Not to hate on OR fans or anything, but who's mom is the one who screamed like Dr. Evil's main woman (the one that does the countdown) in Austin Powers? Is she always like that or was it just for the state championship? My friends and I found her way of showing support quite entertaining. Just wondering, you don't have to say names or anything but I didn't know if she was a mom or not.

  4. Pretty sure that UNC plays Hopkins at 11 or 12 on ESPN. I still like UNC and Rutgers in upsets tommorow.

I'm pretty sure Princeton beat Rutgers in the first round.

  5. I have to agree. This thread started out decent talking about each team's training systems then a guy makes the mistake of bragging about how much he benches. This thread is dead, although I had to have some fun with it at the end.

  6. I didn't want to say anything but Farragut has this guy named Bradley Crone who is totally insane working out. He eats 5 pounds of raw meat for 4 meals a day. He sleeps in a grass field with no blanket or pillow, he's just that much of a b-a. He eats whatever the livestock there is eating for breakfast because he eats anything and everything. He cuts down trees and benches them for his morning workouts and then carves a new lacrosse stick out of it. If you talk to him during his yoga sessions, he'll freaking rip your head off, no really I saw him do it once. I got so excited, I crapped my pants. It was glorious. Go to this site www.realultimatepower.net. He trained all these guys, read the stories, they're all true. I'm not gonna say anymore because if he catches me revealing his secrets, he'll probly rip my head off too.

  7. 4 years I guess. Played halfway throught my 8th grade year because I tore up my shoulder and had to quit baseball. Then sat out and didn't plan on playing in high school until one of the coaches, who is a family friend, got me to come back. I joined about two weeks late in the winter practices. Have to say I think I made the right choice.

  8. Taylor and his guy were both going at it the whole game, but thats part of lax, if you don't like it don't play.

The only reason I pointed out that instance b/c you attacked Farragut's class. I found the instance quite humorous. The whole entire poking thing and then your guy offering his stick was priceless. I admit, the game was a blast, basically if you had good cleats, you would just dodge. Game was fun and I'm glad Webb agreed to play on it b/c it's a crappy field. Last, I think Webb played with class, my last post about their classless behavior was only in retaliation.
