Did the Hughes girl transfer schools or just quit the team? I noticed she hasnt played the last couple games. Tough loss last night by one to Happy Valley.

DevilFanatic:
I have read your posts on this thread and as a neutral bystander, I say you have gone completely overboard. You really are a fanatic and appear to have no life outside this board and your team. Son that is not a healthy thing. You have a lot of anger in you and seen to have the need to blast this coach or coaches just because one of them said something about your district maybe being overrated this year. And for that you have gone off like a rabid dog. This forum works best when people dont go trying to one up the other but that does happen sometime. You took what I considered to be a perfectly rational post above by CC and tried to make it something it wasnt and exposed yourself so clearly by putting the quotes in. To me, it looked like CC's last post was an attempt by him or her to bury the hatchet so to speak and yet you took it totally the other way. You give redneck hick know it all a new defintion. Dont assume you are smarter than everyone else on here. Your spelling, sentence structure and content give you away. I hope you are just a hotheaded teenager. If you are an adult then you need therapy.

How did the Falcons teams fare tonight at Eliz?

CHHS72: I deleted both the posts as you asked me to, so others would not see what deranged falcons look like. Instead of thanking me, you attack me. I guess I should have expected it from a RR.

Okay CHHS72, wish granted. I think everyone involved got the point. I didnt get to see Florida's post before it got deleted. It was unfair to leave yours hanging, so I deleted the post. I do have a question. I know Volunteer has a good coaching staff, both boys and girls. How did the coaches let this happen with DS? He obviously has talent and can score. If you were gonna lose him I guess its better now than in mid february.

From their roster, she is a Junior as is Redd.

Brentwoods George Pitts is among the best.

How many of those Clay Co freshman girls are on varsity? Are any starting?

Why is it that some teams cry "foul" on the ref's when they lose? I posted a thread on here the other day to "test the waters" about ref's statewide. There were many comments. The apparent Unaka fan above lauds his team and then blasts the refs in casting blame for his teams defeat. By and large the breaks of the game even out. One can always pick out several calls in a game and slant them in his teams direction to justify a loss. Its better to look at other factors in the game that you have control over and attempt to improve on them. Thats productive. Blaming a loss on the refs is not. JMHO.

Nice picture LBQuarterbackClub. Take your caps off. We can hear you.
Is that from your high school yearbook?

how many teams are in the greeneville tournament? who is its major sponsor?
-
Its too early to say. Everybody knows who the leaders of the pack are; nobody wants to brand the bottom of the ladder just yet;
-
many think that there is a difference from Region to region on how the game is called; some say ET refs allow more contact; some claim the home cookin is better is certain parts of the state; whats everyone think?

Didnt the boys play as well?
Unicoi's girls are very very good. They beat Cloudland badly the other night. Now my question is whether the Unaka comeback was all their doing or did Unicoi let off the gas a little or get tired. Unaka has better depth. Unicoi is not very deep off the bench. But... Dont be surprised to see Unicoi win the Regional again.

How did Unaka do against Unicoi tonight?
Both Cloudland and Unaka have a chance to go to the Murphy Center in March. Both must avoid injuries and play team ball to go as far as they both hope. And a little luck doesnt hurt. Good luck to all UET teams.

Karper, Hall and Reed should be the early favorites; look for a darkhorse to come out of another big pack by mid January.

Dont underestimate Sullivan North. Randolph has them playing hard and together.
The conference winner may have five losses.
