Coach Slaughter has not lost his touch with Santa Fe's boys! Santa Fe expects to have it a little rough at the beginning of the season because they lost seven seniors!!! What do you expect? Santa Fe has a very young team this year but has a lot of potential! Coach Slaughter works his boys harder this year than he has in past years because he too expects the loss of the seven seniors to take a toll on his boys! With every game that Santa Fe plays the boys do get better! Every team must learn from previous games and Santa Fe is trying their hardest to do what is expected of them from their fans! Because Santa Fe is so small most people expect them to not have much talent but they have more talent than your average unit school! It is sad to think that someone who doesn't know the team that well would down the team and their coach when the boys were having an off night! Normally the boys play amazing offense and defense but every team has their bad nights and that is what Santa Fe had when they played Zion! Santa Fe beat Eagleville to whom they lost the seimfinals to last year! That was a huge victory for them! Yes, they did have a lot of talent last year, but they didn't blow it! They had a good season and that's what their fans wanted! Well Trucker Clock, you can't exactly blame the coach for a lost game because he isn't on the court playing! No, I'm not blaming the players either! They had a bad night, but I don't blame the coach for the loss either!!!
