  1. This summer the Warren County Boy’s Basketball Staff will be hosting the 2nd Annual Middle School Boys Basketball Team Camp for upcoming 7th & 8th grade basketball teams. The 2-day camp will be played at Warren County High School and Warren County Middle School as well as other area middle schools if needed. Each team will be provided 3 games a day. We will be glad to work with each team on any possible schedule request and will work hard to meet everyone’s needs. The following teams participated in last years camp: Allons (Overton Co.), Central MS (Rutherford Co.), Eastside Elementary (Warren Co.), Franklin Co. North, Shafer MS (Sumner Co.), Tullahoma East (Coffee Co.) Warren Co. MS, Woodbury Grammar (Cannon Co.), Morrison Elementary (Warren Co.), Pleasant Hill Elementary (Cumberland Co.), and Van Buren Co.MS.

    June 4 - 5 (Mon. and Tues.)

    $125 Team Fee (3 games per day – 6 total)

    All games will be played with two 20-minute running clock halves with the clock stopping the last minute of each half. Otherwise, each game will be played according to regulation rules and with certified officials. There will be no cross-court games or two games in the same gym (no confusing whistles). In order to reserve a spot in the camp and to make sure that teams are committed to coming we ask each team to send a $50 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit.     These rule changes hurt more of the rural counties than anyone. I have heard proposals of breaking away from the TSSAA and it souded worth listening to.

  17. I saw on the Lincoln Trail JC website that Perry Powell is there along with Ricky Harper (Howard) and Adam Asberry from Upperman (transfered from Tenn Temple). I too saw that Malcolm signed with Georgia State but I see no mention of him on their website. I would like to see him play if they come to the area. Any new info. Sorry about leaving out Harrison I must have deleted him when I was editing the initial post. I didn't include the transfers this year but there are others that will make a splash next year.
