I think LA and Upperman proved that you were not the best in the state. You just barely got by Upperman at home and I'm sure if you played at Upperman you would have lost. LA's strength of schedule here on coacht is #1 in the state and your team is ranked #51. LA's losses came to teams like Upperman, Clarkrange, Cookeville, Jackson Co., and Shelbyville. LA was just well tested at the end of the year. LA beat Polk in the substate by 22. McMinn played Polk 4 times and only beat them by more than 22 only once and one time they beat Polk by only 4 points. Congrats to LA you played a great game and desreved the win but to settled the argument with you and upperman the best team in the state didnt show up last night. I would put McMinn Central up against LA 10 times and Central would win at least 9 times and by 10 or more points, i however would not want to play upperman again they are a very good team. But as i said congrats to you, but you didnt play the central team that was 34-0 .I dont know who that team was. I feel sorry for our girls that the wheels had to fall off at this point and dont understand what they where thinking or not thinking but ( and I'm not putting LA down) they should have been able to beat LA easily I dont know how upperman lost to LA. LA didnt look like a state tourn caliber team to me ,sorry. Upperman was a better team than LA by far and Im pretty sure the Central was also. Makes me wonder if Marshal Co. was put out on a fluke also. I seen four AA teams play yesterday and not one of them look state tourn. worthy.
I also dont wont to hear people blaming Coach Morgan, for years they want to say he starts changing stuff at this level and doesnt let the girls play there game. Well he stuck with the same game plan kept running in fresh legs and let the girls play but they blew it.
Best team in state The 34-0 Mcminn Central Chargerettes, LA you havent seen them and wont, be thankful its not a best two out of three. but then again so are we cause we may have not gotten by Upperman had it been.
Congrats again to LA on catching the best team in the state in a daze i guess. Good luck rest of the way.

Last night was one of the best 3 games that Central has been a part of in the last 4 years. And Upperman is the best team that Central has played in the last 3 years. (Hillcrest 2006, first round state is still the best). I'm not sure that either team would have had to much to hang their head about over getting beat, other then hating to be beaten. My idea of what the game would turn out to be went south. First, with an injury in first quarter. Second with the stamina of Upperman's players. Upperman players showed a lot of heart.
I found on a newspaper site that Central is scheduled to play TBA next. Anybody know anything about them? /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
They make it ever year Weak Region and cake walk sectionals, cental should be allright.

The coach didnt lose this game it was the best game i have ever seen and both teams deserve to be at the boro, but someone had to win. great game bees, 7aa is the best district in the state for womens basketball but tonight 5aa rose to the top.Congrats to the chargerettes and good luck in the boro.

They are a bunch of cocky girls that need to put up or shut up. Win the state. Theres nothing else to say. I keep hearing how good they are,(PROVE IT TO ME,OR CAN YOU PROVE IT TO ME?) I'm talking about the chargeretts of Mcminn central.
Your a idoit that is just trying to start crap, the girls are not cocky there confident. the fans may be a little cocky but were proud of them, and no there hasnt been a gold ball yet and there may not be one this year but 33-0 is still something to be proud of. im not going to take nothing from district 7aa they have a great program. But a bunch of you want to get on here and down the chargerettes of Mcminn Central about a weak region and so on, hey look at gibson and westview year in and year out,and gibson should have a cake walk to the boro. the toughest sectionals in aa girls is region 3 and 4 year in and year out. central should have had the gold ball last year but was beat in the last few seconds by evental state champs. Gibson crys they have to play champion first game ever year but they didnt last year. jump on gibson for a while or are you from gibson.
Prediction Central wins by 8 to 10 or the lose by1 whoever wins it should be a great game and the winner if they stay focused should go on to win it all. good luck to both teams.

The region is alternated each year. District 5 host one year then district 6 the next. The tournament was orignally schedule for Chatt State because it was district 6 turn to host but Chatt State double booked. District 5 normally hostes the event at cleveland but has used Hiwassee in the past , neither gym being large enough it should be at McMinn gym when district 5 host where there is room and parking. never the less every other year one district has to drive more than the other. No big deal, just life . Lets talk ball not location.

Congrats to CSAS, on a well played game but lets get for real the refs were as bad for central if not worse. 33 for CSAS was over the back all night not to mention pushing all night. I seen bad calls the entire bgame, but all anyone wants to bring up is the timeout call. how about the clock not being set back to 1.5 instead they set it at .5. Or when the point gaurd for CSAS walked up to the arch when Boyd was shooting the free throws after regulation, thats a Techincal. Yes CSAS deserves a congrats but McMinn Central was screwed alot more by the Officals than CSAS was. Chattanooga won the game its over quit your crying over the only bad call you seem to remeber.

I'm not sure who will win dist.6, I think Howard.And sounds to me like nobody in Dist. 6 agrees with who it,ll be. But the one thing you all do agree with is that your worried about McMinn Central. And by the way the two best teams in Dist. 5 are McMinn Central and Sequoah, not Walker Valley. Sequoyah beat Alcoa last week, look for Central and Sequoyah to be a barn burner if the meet up in championship. Good Luck to all, see ya at Cleveland State thumb

I was at all the games this week except for the last one . The officiating was the worst I have ever seen for every game Except the Shelbyville Greenville game were the refs let the girls play and just tryed to keep control and The game that meant the most to me the McMinn Central and Livingston game were I felt the refs let the girls play. The better team won congrats to Livingston. Although if Central had been hitting their shots it could have been different.

First game Saturday November 22 at McMinn Central ( Hall of fame game)
Final score McMinn Central 60 Seymour 56 Central lead the entire game but it was a good game. I know both teams have improved since then and this should make for a great game.

Ive only seen corey play one game and that was Monday night against McMinn Central, But if he plays like he did at Central he will be riding the pine. The kid was lazy and played as if he already had his deal and didnt have to prove nothing. although he was going up against what I think is a future D-1 and best sophmore in the state Beau Brown.
Danial Nicolo defend him most of the night but Brown out rebounded him and out played him. Nicolo did a great job and so did the entire cast for McMinn Central.

Tamara Moss was MVP in my book but was not even considered for all tournament. and yes Patterson {McMinn Central} Morris {Walker Valley} and Payne {Tellico} should have been there.
This just proves even more that we need to change the name of the trophy to LETS PICK A COUPLE FROM EVERY TEAM TROPHY.

I was at the game. it was not as close as 13 but Upperman went to the bench late in the fourth and Tellico made a run bringing the score down from 20 something to 13. I don't know the kids name but no. 3 for Upperman was on fire with 7 or 8 threes not sure what her final points was but it was impressive.

Generally I don't complain about ref's, a good team should be able to overcome bad ref's. But this was ridiculas.

This what not a negative quote but just pure fact the chargerettes are the better team, just didnt have there normal game, had nothing to do with defense had more to do with bad shot selection and playing tight for whatever reason. Im not a sore loser ill give credit where credit is due and LA won the game . Im just saying if LA had met the team that went 34-0 they would not have been able to play with them based on what I seen from LA. this was not the LA team ive seen in the past they may be better than what they showed. any how good luck rest of the week.
