I would like to thank the Jackson County Lady Blue Devils and the coaching staff for another great season of Women's Basketball. As a fan I , and my family , were very proud of their accomplishments during the 2003-2004 season. I know that another trip to the Boro would have been great , but our teams and Community have been blessed for the past 5 years with that honor. I wish all of the teams that will be present in the Boro the best of luck .

What a great run it has been!!! The LADY DEVILS are still number 1 in my book and they always will be. Even though they come up short this year they need not to get down on themselves. Who else can say that they went to the state championship game the last 5 years in a row and won the last 4 in a row. The Devils have had a great run over the last 5 years. Congradulations to all the Lady Devils and good luck to them in what ever they decide to do in the future. I still am a Devil fan and will be for life. What a great season it has been.

On another note devilforlife you stole my skull but since your a Devil fan I will let it slide.

If everyone of you JC fans want to attck me for what said go ahead I know what happened! Ask coach Brown to review the tape, he will tell you that SC got screwed! I know they missed calls on both sides but they missed 80% on SC in JC's favor! I really hope you guys do well in the rest of the season, I am not mad or preturbed at JC or JC fans but Ref's that are not doing there job right really Ticked me off!

Hey that may be right, but i also seen SC set 6 or 7 moving screen's which is called a block so I'd say that the walks and block's even out for a fair game. If you had knowledge of the game you would have seen that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not mad at anyone, but i wish the refs would call a fair game from start to finish not one sided the 1 half and 1 sided the 2 half.

On the flip side    you morans..... u see there is life other than ball...u see we (LA) and them(SC) actually get out and do stuff with other people, and not our family like u (JC) do.  So we were cheering for SC cause they cheered for us.  We have friends from there so baller baller short and stout find ur head and pull it out

This thread is about a ball game not about your favorite epidose of "Springer". You can buy into the hype of mutual fans if you want to , but in the real world , LA does not want to face JC. They ( LA ) are right back where they were last year with the same fears that they had last year. THIS is the tournament game that maters and THIS game will have a different outcome than the District Tournament had. I am not knocking the LA team but the experience that JC has will put them over the top tonight.

LA fan is right. Me being for LA has nothing to do with basketball. I have alot of friends that I went to college at TTU with who are from Livingston. So I repeat myself.

to smith county fans.the only reason that livingston was cheering for yall was that they wanted yall to win were they wouldnt have to play the most dreaded blue devils.i just hope that smith county fans and student section comes to support jackson county.

Great game last night. Hats off to SC they had a great season and need to keep there head up. This team is going to be around for a while. To JC great game, hope that we keep it rollin. To SC fans that support JC in tonights game(queenbee) I want to hear some noise tonight. This is going to be a great game. Let the Devils hear you support them. GO DEVILS

This game will for sure be one for the history books. This game will be a battle fought to the end. This game could go either way, and the team that wins very well might win the state. It seems that the LA crowd was pulling for SC last night like they didn't want to play JC, but then again who would. I feel like this is a must win and I think that coach B. will have his troops ready for battle!!!!!!!!!!! JC takes the region in a nail bitter!!!!!!!!!!

This is the first time that you guys have even thought about Smith Co. in 4 years! Admit it, you know you could be beat! You may not be scared but you are worried especially if MO gets off to the start she said she would! Defense and OUTCOACHING WILL WIN THIS FOR SC!!!!!! I will agree. Hensley really seems to keep her composure on the floor.

Everyone knows who "bigdaddyt" is talking about....Ummmm thats really hard to figure out. All I have to say is that some people never show any emotion like Hensley, and some people well really teams feed off of emotion like Livingston Academy...Katrina Beechboard,Megan Thompson,Kelly Thurman...ect....This doesn't mean that they aren't "CLASSACT'S" they just have a different way of playing the game. Personally I love to see chest bumping and fist pumping emotions!!! Good Luck to the 7AA especially LA!!!

I for one am for players getting fired up on the floor. Sometimes I think that it will bring a team out of a slump. But let's not get boasting and showing emotion mixed up. I also think there is a fine line between the two. I for one rather a team go out there and play and let there playing speak for its self. But I see nothing wrong with an occasional high five when a good play has happened.

JC SC game will be another exciting game. I really think that SC has improved alot from the begining of the season, and next year they will for sure be a contender for the district, but as far as this year goes i have to say that JC will prevail against SC Wed. But hats off to SC for a great year.

What did I say that was negative? I think i said, Not to take anything away from Beech because she is a great player, I was just stating that Hensley is just as good. If we had a all-star team I know that both of these girls would be on it. I have nothing against Beech or LA.

cross55, best post I've seen on this thread. We need to enjoy as the opportunity presents itself. 3 games this season with a total of 6 points difference.

I think it is safe to say that and we all could agree on is that the district 7AA has the best talent or just as good as any other region or district in high school baseketball.

Sounds like things are heating up in here. Alot of opinions are being passed around and I figured I would give an outside 7AA opinion. Both Players (Beechboard and Hensley) are outstanding players. I would not go as far to say one is much more dominant than the other. I have seen every JC/LA game since 1992 so I do speak first hand. If Beechboard was as dominating as Magid is making her out to be the gold balls would be in LA. But on the other hand if Marissa didn't have a supporting cast I dont believe they would be in JC either. I agree with magid saying REDBUD is blinded by his JC pride but also sounds like MAgid is blinded by some person grudge against JC or Marissa. Both are very talented girls but to say one is more dominating than the other insults both players. If we want to talk about a girl that played above the high school level lets talk about Andrea Davidson. She was the best highschool player I have ever had the pleasure of watching.

BBallin you are exactly right, Hensley does have a great cast around her that helps make her look good. All JC players can step up at any time. Along with LA's suppoorting cast they also have good players that could step up at any time. As far as being on a level to herself ANDREA DAVIDSON is. She could do anything in a game when ever she wanted to. I have played against her and she can school most guys. About 2 weeks ago I watch UNC Charlette play on ESPN2 and Davidson was a starter doing the same things for them she use to do for JC!!!

redbud i think u need a reality check...i was at the game and hensley is absolutely no match for Beech!!so u can quit makin her out like she is great because she most definately is not when compared to LA's Beechboard.

Marrisa was named all state 1st team her 1st 2 years at JC and was named state tourny MVP last year. Not to mention she has 3 state championship RINGS on her hand. How many does Beech have??????????? You do not get these kind of honors by not being great. Not to take anything away from Beech, but i think that the reality check should be going the other way!!!!!!!!
