Not reliable source, my son who wrestled in the 90's. I was in town visiting, asked about local wrestling. Coach is retiring and moving. My son's not very bright, so I came to Coacht to check it out

I would have liked to have seen the Jones twins from Houston if the varsity coach hadn't run them off. From what I understand they may be back next year if he is gone.
So Houston coach is not coaching next year? Going to Clarksville?

Yes, and I realize that some cannot attend because of the HOF inductions. I will do everything in my power to get out in time for those to go. Even adding extra mats. However, as many coaches know, opportunities to host these events are limited.

I haven't been to a wrestling tournament in a few years. I am going to watch this event, a long time west tennessee tournament. Anyone to watch for?

The Region 8 tournament is just ahead so I’ve prepared a preview of sorts for folks to mull over. With late season weight shifts I realize I’ve probably gotten some folks at the wrong weight. We can discuss and correct those. Also some teams have continually bumped up a wrestler to cover a weight when they have multiple, interchangeable wrestlers at a lower one. It was difficult in some cases to determine who these teams will eventually move up permanently for the tournament but I took a guess in those cases. Those are open to discussion as well.
The categories:
- Odds on Favorite -- self-explanatory
- In The Mix – Likely qualifiers some of who will challenge for the title.
- On the Bubble – Will have to upset someone to get in top 4, but very doable.
- Dark Horse – A long shot but not impossible. Gonna Need a lot of help.

Let's just take a two week break so we can break rules and return for the last tournament? How about if the wrestler did not mean to lock hands it should not count? What if the official who made the call was new, should the ruling count? The wrestler really tried to make weight but was off a few tenths? Should we sent up a plan of actions with a list of exceptions?

Sorry you are correct. This is a message board and is open to opinion to opinions. We can repeat discussions about who is better D1 or D2. Why Bradley won't wrestle Baylor. Why the TWF is a dying organization. Who would win between a wrestler in 1991 and 2010. Just referencing an earlier post and its responses

I remember when my son wrestled it was all a blind draw and it was a carry tournament. Returning medalists did not place due to the draw. It has advanced to some sort of separation and double elimination. Probably in the next several years the TSSAA will expand to seeding system. Will the complaining stop or open another level of complaining.
