If u did u would realize that mine was a reply to 90Warrior's post about the Herron girl bringing Sparta up from a mediocre team to a great team. Do u not recognize scarasm when u see...if u need any more help in learning to read post on here let me know[lol] :D

  2. should be a good early season match up. sounds like wilson central is loaded again. i think this will be a good game because with herron being back for white co. this changes the complexity of the season. we go from being a good mediocre team to a great team. go warriorettes!

 Complexity of the season??? Well.....just WHEN is this GREATNESS gonna shine through for this player?....Just wondering sure do want to be there when it reveals!

  3. ;) GOOD LUCK TO THE WARRIORETTES!!!! :P JUST PRAYING THAT NOONE FROM EITHER TEAM GETS HURT!!!!............AND that the ref's are FAIR!!! thumb Also hope Coach lets some of you guys play an outside game just a little, ESPECIALLY if the inside shots are being missed as BAD as they were against Riverdale!! Sparta can have a shot at winning if EVERY girl is allowed to show up instead of depending on 1.

It's about time that the District 7AAA changes the district tournaments to a "neutral" site.  After all, 7A and 7AA does this.  The reasons are:

    1.  Games would be more fair, No home court advantage.

    2.  The facility at Oakland is pathetic, poor bathrooms, no district programs, etc., and low attendance.  Upper Cumberland teams (like Sparta last year) knows how to hosts a district.  Nice programs and good facilities.

    3.  How will teams fare when Lebanon host the tournament?  No one likes that small gym.  Why not pick a good location, like Tennessee Tech gym?  This not will only bring in better crowds, but more money to TSSAA and a "neutral" court.  The crowds in and around the Murfreesboro girls program are mostly a few parents, and that is it.

It is time for a change, TSSAA wake up and change these venues for the districts.

:o I beg your pardon about Oakland's facilities.... They are a-okay.... and I'm from White Co., but I have been in many, many, Tenn. and Georgia Gyms and Oakland's is by far NOT pathetic compared to some, a little older maybe but certainly NOT pathetic! Sounds to me like sOOmOne ;) is just taking Pottie Shots after a bad lost or something, maybe you should move to Crossville!

I was a practice dummy many years ago when I played at my high school. It rips out your heart when you know you worked as hard as the players on the floor, but never really got a chance. This topic was started out of concern for all players out there who could have made a difference, but was cast aside. Everyone on the bench deserves to play and most importantly have fun!  thumb

;) I agree that ALL the bench should be allowed to play in blow-out games because the 'Bench' is a vital organ of the functioning team. Especially when injuries occur. You've got to have them to depend upon, but there are some coaches(not all of them) but some who don't care if these kids give-up and quit or not. Sometimes Coaches are more concerned with who the kids are than what they can do in a game. I have seen this more in Middle School Coaches and a few High School, but usually it's the Middle School Coaches that beat their confidence down so they drop out in High School before they get a chance to show what they can do. :(

  6. QUOTE

    A - Allons boys champs

    A - Allons girls champs

AA - Pickett County girls (don't know if they won, but played in championship.)

    AAA - Rickman boys champs

    AAA - Rickman girls runner-up

AAAA - Livingston and Algood one their first games atleast.

AAAAA - Avery Trace won their first game atleast.

:D Excuse me? Avery Trace won? i dont think so.. it was a double overtime game against White County. And White County won by 1point!! :(

  7. the bad officiating went both ways! " If you cant play with the big dogs stay off the porch!" As for the fans everything that cumberland co. fans said was just a reply to what the warrior fans started. Here's a lesson in LIFE 101!..... Dont start something you can't finish! Both teams played hard and the officiating was terrible around around! Cumberland is just used to it!  thumb

 Excuse me but I never saw any White Co. boys walking around with T-Shirts on that said,"Crossville girls are UGLY"....and just what was THAT in reply to? I also never saw White Co. writing the word 'Suck' on their board! That's because their too classy for that type of ..."little bit of school spirit". And as for the bad officiating Cumberland Co. SHOULD be used to it because it's always that way on their Home court!
