  1. The Tennessee Trojans and Nashville Yankees will be hosting the Tennessee Trojan Hoops Classic IV to be held in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee on March 10 - 12, 2006. Each team will be guaranteed 3 games. The format of the tournament is pool play into a single elimination tournament with awards for 1st and 2nd place.

The Trojan Hoops Classic has grown into a huge success in just 3 years. Due to the increased inquiries and limited space it appears that we will have to limit the number of teams this year. So get your information in early to secure your team's spot.

Please contact Bobby Lee if you need additional information. His phone number is home - (615) 444-4763 and email is rtlee@comcast.net.what are the age groups?

  2. [EDITED BY JERRY ALLBERT MARCH 7 3PM]Teams participating in the State and do not advance to the Div. I State state can advance to the Div. II State.

  3. Cable and Marsh and even Powell came out hot.  Walker Valley came out ice cold.  Then CSAS did somethin very stupid...threw the ball away with 3 seconds to go in the half and Kuglar got it and hit a last second shot to give them the lead at the half.  Tell me somethin...McMinn Central beats them by like 15 the first time, 29 the second time, and 34 the third time.  Yet they are hosting the Sub-State now.  Basketball sure is a crazy game, huh?

I take it you are a charger fan, walker valley has more talent this year than they did last year when we beat you,our coach has started a new player at center and it has helped and we are also playing like a team now and we play at our pace,we are a different team now,and the first time we played you we had the lead intill the fourth quarter,it was closer than you make it sound,is your coach ever going to advance your team????it is a shame to see a team with some much talent get knocked out so early every year, good luck NEXT YEAR.

  4. All I know is they did beat their regions #1 team.  Every game in the playoffs is one and done if you don't bring your A game.  Enjoy the weekend SC....come Monday.....The Second Season Begins!!!  First up......McMinn Central!!!

the only reason they beat us is because we had 5 starters out and our center got hurt right before half,we got everyone back the following week and we haved rolled since then and we even beat a good 4 a team in cleveland, people in your region haven't played anybody, walker valley and howard will advance on.

  5. Actually I would give Smith County vs Grundy the smallest spread. Here are my reasons why.

    1. Smith County doesn't score many points. When you don't score many points there is a chance for you to lose any game. In their games against the other 3 playoff teams from our region they scored 12, 6 and 0. You can't win against good teams consistently when you score that low.

    2. I have heard that Grundy is the best team from that region regardless of their record. They knocked Trousdale out of the playoffs last year so you can't take it easy this week just yet Smith County fans.

grundy co. is awful,we beat them 33-0 walker valley is the best team by far,you don't know football to well

  6. That's amazing to me, really you're talking about a 1A team vs a 4A team. I still don't understand how they didn't get moved to 4A when other schools are placed by their projected enrollments, not just at the time of the count.  It's helped them in other sports too, where they're playing Class AA teams with a AAA enrollment.

our enrollment went up this year that is why we are going to aaaa next year
