District 7 AAA is absolutely the worst district for fouls. These officials call 45+ fouls every game. They have ruined the game. In fact I have quit going to watch because of what they are doing!

Let me make a correction that the Region 6a contains 19 teams instead of 20. Looking at the TSSAA Districts and Regions for all categories, no other districts or regions come close. This issue was brought before the TSSAA board by Laryy Helton of Forrest High School at the last cycle of district and region changes. It would appear that little consideration was given to the valid concerns by the Districts.

I agree that there are several issues for both 12a and 11a. The number of teams in each is too many. Between the two there are 20 schools listed. Its a shame TSSAA will not legitimately consider modifying the districts. No other districts or regions include so many. To combine the two large districts lessens the chances for qualified teams to make state berths.

If everyone gave the effort of Jamie Norris the Red Raiders would fill the stands every week.

Sorry for the slam on Warren Co. I wrongly assumed that the game took place there, and that the coach was arrested there. I should have ridiculed Bedford Co. If you will recall Bedford Co. recently indicted a used car dealer from Coffee Co. right before an election, and then dismissed the charges after the election. It is a shame that these folks are further hurting high school sports.

I hope everyone in Warren Co. is embarassed by their justice system. While this incident is unfortunate, it does not rise to the level of a criminal act. Do you think that it is ironic that DA Potter went on trial for extortion the same day that this arrest took place? Warren Co., you are getting the justice system you elected. You are the laughing stock of the mid-state. Congratualtions.
