After The Lady Blue Devil beat the Hogeyes thursday nite, and the Lady Bees beat the Cavaliers, were left with the Final of the Mid-South Classic at the neutral stomping grounds at Cookeville High School! This will be the second big matchup between these two this year! Set to jump-off at 6:00! Who's taking it??
Personally, I think the game will be very close! With both teams bringing alot of heat on both sides of the ball, look for a shoot-out! JC in a nail-biter, 68-67!

Let's see here...The Lady Blue are 1st in strength and 10th in hardest schedule in single A! Beech is 47th in strength and 24th in schedule rank in AAA! Id go with the Lady Blue by 8+! Good Luck Lady Blue!

Wow! Another wonderful start for the unbelivable Lady Blue Devils!! I think this is a much better team than last year, and look were we got to last year! Im not gonna say the girls are gonna just walk in to murfreesboro without any competition, but, with the big play of our seniors and strong bench and a great D...it promises to be another GREAT season with a great shot for another "Gold Ball"!! oh yea and plus.... we happen to have the greatest coach in high school basketball history coaching our team...that also helps!!! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> Go Lady BLUE!

If your going to answer a question, try not to be a smart I didn't ask the question to get a lecture. I know several schools with different classifications in football and basketball so it was a valid question.

There is no real place to start or end with explaining how proud I am of the Lady Blue Devils, and Coach Brown of Jackson County, but everyone on that team deserves so much credit!
It seems every year that we lose valuable players, and that we are gonna be down and have a bad year, and when its all said and done, you all come together, as a "team", and pull it out in the end. Given this year we didnt get the gold, but you girls played your hearts out, and these are the years you will never forget. To the graduating seniors, all you girls had a good career, and I wish nothing but the best to each of you in college and throughout life. Kristi, Lacy, Cassie, Beth and Kris, Congratulations, we will miss you girls on the floor next year! To the rest of the Lady Blue Devils, whether you have one year remaining like Paige, or 3 years remaining like Talica, its now your girls turn to play for the gold ball and bring it back to JC, and make the Seniors proud.
To Courtney, keep playing hard ball and it will get you far. You had some big three's throughout this whole tournament, and throughout the year, and for a sophomore to play as well as you, that's talent! Your a great player, as well as Misti. Both of you will be looked for to lead this squad next year, and i think both of you will do that!
Congratulations to Coach Jim Brown to getting over 330 wins! For coaching 14 years, that's pretty impressive. The early years were tough, but you have hung in there and taught you girls very good, and we are so proud of you Coach! You're the best. Best of Luck the rest our your career!
Once you become a Blue Devil, your forever a blue devil at heart, and I love JC athletics so much!! I Bleed Blue!!! Good Luck next season in bringing that ball back to 7A! LADY BLUE DEVIL FAN FOR LIFE!!

District 7AA is counting on some more great representation from Coach Winningham and the ladies in purple and gold...GO YORK!!!!!!!!!

I agree, so here is my opinion. RBS girls should have went farther than what they did. And as far as a coach with coaching ability goes, you don't get named co/coach of the year with Jim Brown for nothing!

i do believe i have as much right as anyone else on this site to post my opinion on sports topics, and that is what i did. i made no personal attacks on anyone and if you read my post i congradulated rbs on thier fine season and wished them luck for next year. as far as where i'm from, that doesn't matter.
i get on here and read about what the fans say about various sporting events that happen that someone or something that i am interested in are involved. i have read many many threads that involve both lafayette and rbs, and it is in my opinion that rbs fans (as well as lafayette fans, they are not exempt) have a habit of always wedging an excuse in there when they happen to lose a game. i'm not saying all rbs fans by no means. but there have been some occasions of sore losers after some games. it is rare that someone just says "we lost, they played better...end of story." when a team has a bad shooting night, or turn the ball over, or miss free throws then 9 out of 10 times you will lose a ball game if your playing talent comparable to your teams. and sometimes if you don't play well, u lose to bad teams...thats basketball. that is why we play the games, cause on any given night a team can catch another on an off night and win one. the good teams are the ones' that don't have an off night, or can find ways to win even when they are not clicking.
and from what i have been told, rbs played well enough to win the ball game. i was honestly shocked that they made it that far (as i said) but they did and they should be proud. i think its a major accomplishment considering that in my opinion they were behind the 8 ball coaching wise seeing as i don't have a high opinion of the head coach or his coaching ability. but, once again that is my opinion and i have a right to it...and as far as being jealous of rbs's accomplishments, i am a grown ###### man. i would hope people would be above being jealous of some high school kids accomplishments...i mean come on...
so if you wanna give your opinion on some sporting events then by all means post away on here....but if your gonna gripe about somebody else's opinion then send a letter to your congressman cause nobody else wants to hear it
