    189?

I think Tim Pease will take it in D1 but it will be a close close match. Michael Marable will take it at 189 in D2.
  2. Yes I am glad to have access to somewhere that we can talk about the things that are important to use, howver it is about time you learned to spell your coaches name ( two t's in there ). And yes I know Sr. is goning to put you guys through some pain tomorrow but it will be good, you need it.
  3. cb56, You know who I am. We talked last weekend at the regional duals. I am a coach at Saint Benedict. That should tell you enough to narrow it down to three. Let's see if you pay attention to who you taked to . If you can't get it from that then I will tell you since it is not fair for me to know who you are and not return the favor.
  4. volsfreak60, I think that Bauke gets the win if he wrestles smart. However, I think that Rawn is going to make it close. My official prediction would have to be Bauke 7-5 by way of a takedown in the last thirty seconds.

    189?

Champ, Are you looking for the DI, DII, or both placers?
  6. I think that it is clear that McCallie is going to be in the championships but I think that the Father Ryan/Baylor match may be closer than most suspect. It should be interesting to see who comes out on top there. I also will hold to the fact that if a few key people step up for CBHS the Purple Wave may have more of a say in the finals than most think. One thing to remember there is that Justin Saint, CBHS 215, has been out with an injury but plans on being back for the duals. If Saint can compete then that makes CBHS a much stronger team but their light weights will have to come up big for them. The duals will be a good showing of some great wrestling, I only wish DI and DII were together so we could see all these great teams matchup and come out with a true state championship.
  7. I have had a chance to see both Clarksville and Collierville wrestle this year and I think this will be a very close match. Collierville should be able to get at least two pins out of Hammond, Speroff, Hunt and Cullen. Billy West is capable of beating Hebda and his team is going to need it. If West wrestles at his top then Collierville gets a win there. This match is really going to be decided in the upper weights where I think Clarksville has the edge. Pease has looked very good at 189 as well as Jones at hwt. I think the swing matches will come at 160, 171, and 215, Collierville needs to do well here if they want to win. Goodluck to both teams and both coaches, they have all done very well this year and should be proud no matter what the result is.
  8. I am only qualified to speak about those out here in the West, but I have to say that the 215 from Collierville is a rather impressive specimen. However, I think that Josh Bauke is most definitely the best freshman on this side of the state. I have watched him defeat several very good wrestlers and I think that some of those guys out in the East will be very surprised at his skill. You have to look past his "elementary" looks and sometimes attitude but he has been dominant aroud here and beaten several guys from other parts of the state.
