Im not calling the refs idiots for removing the player he got caught and ejected. They are idiots because they sucked the rest of the game................

 

The Refs didn't catch the interception or recover the onside kick or recover any of the fumbles in the second half. your a idiots and your the moron that keeps thinking you know what's going on during the game. I've forgot more about football than you will ever know. keep playing your xbox and maybe you will learn something.

No, but they did stop the quarterback from scoring on one play because they can't keep up with the ball. They ran a fake dive up the middle and qb keep it and came running outside on the dresden side and the refs thought the back had it anf blew it dead whrn he was tackled, but the qb was going down the sideline with the ball. If Dresden stays healthy and their seniors play up to their potential, as well as their freshmen of the year last year then yes, they should win this district. I saw Huntingdon this summer and they looked like they could be tough. It would not suprise me to see them and Dresden in the finals. Gleason, however, could also be there. They are always fundamental and generally don't beat themselves. The three above mentioned teams will be the ones to look for out of 13A. Don't really know anything about West Carroll or Big Sandy. Mckenzie is very young and inexperienced with no seniors or juniors and clarksburg and Carrolll Academy will not be very good at all.

I can definetely see Lake County and Union City in the District finals. I don't know how Bradford, Humboldt, or Greenfield will be, but someone is getting left out. Am I leaving anyone else out? What about South Fulton? How are they looking?

You are obviously obsessed with the West family and Dresden High School. Why don't you call them and talk to them if you have a problem or call the superintendent. This has done nothing but make it look as though DHS has no support or maybe that is what you are wanting. That being said Dresden played a heck of a game Friday night and so did McKenzie. You had two teams go 12 rounds in a heck of a game and all people from Dresden are worried about is post game, Mckenzie could care less. The coach said why he did it and that is that, he is the coach and gets paid to make those decisions. If they shake and a fight breaks out then it would be said that the coaches couldn't control their teams. Sometimes you lose either way but as long as you as a coach feel you did whats right then don't let it bother you. Oh btw "run and jump" is not Mr. West, he has better things to do then justify himself to people with screen names on a website.

Thanks Train..Was just messing with you guys a little before the game.I was nervous,just had a bad feeling before the game.A lot of pressure for both teams going into this game.,will be the same but at least with a loss tomorrow night,will still at least have a chance for the Boro.Scotts Hill or Middleton will be a tough task.Dresden has a fine team.I really liked #23 and yall's big girl down low.Wish we had a girl that size down low just to be physical and play defense and rebound.I think the radio said #23 was a junior.Isn't the big girl a freshman or a sophomore?With Greenfield losing a couple studs,probably going to be Union City and Lake Co as the preseason favorites next year.Don't really know how Bradford will be without Combs or if some of the younger girls for Greenfield step up.Dresden and Lake Co could very well meet for the region title next year barring any unforseen obstacles.Lake Co will have all the girls that started last night back as well as the first 3 players that come off the bench.Congrats to Dresden on a fine season.

#23 is a Junior, #55 is a junior, #14 is a junior,#22 is a freshman, #3 and #35 are seniors. The black headed girl that came off the bench is a junior. There will be two freshmen coming in next year that should help. One is a really good point guard and the other a shooting guard. I think looking ahead that Dresden will be the favorite to win the district next year. So, hopefully we can advance a lil further next season. Good luck Wednesday

Awesome game to watch but I am sure it stunk for Union City. Ya'll came a long way and almost made it to sub state. I am sure ya'll will be back again next year. Congatualtions to Bradford on a big min. Wow, The 4 seed in the regional finals and sub state. Congrats to Coach Eddings and Bradford.

Bigster, your team has a great chance to win it all and I hope they do. Dresden will be pulling for you. Our coach is a class act, you won't hear any excuse making or blaming. He knows some nights the other team is simply better. Hope #3 is all right and able to get back at it. Once again congrats to lake County, maybe next year we can see ya in the finals of the region.

Congratulations to Lake County. They were the better team tonight. Very quick, good shooting, and good pressure on the ball. Hey, give us some credit too, we didn't stall. I thought 23-13 at halftime was pretty good, but nobody can play catch up with the falcons.

So far Lake Co has been able to win against teams that play that kind of ball.Usually pretty hard to pass the ball that long with the speed that Lake Co has.And if Dresden does do that and Lake Co picks it off and makes some easy layups and gets the lead,going to be hard for Dresden if Lake Co spreads the ball and makes them come out of the zone.Like Daround said.Lake Co has 3 players that can hit the 3 ball.If they are on tonight,Lake Co should be in very good shape.If not..Lake ?Co still has a very good defense to hopefully still win the game.

I hear Dresden may play 4 on Offense and leave one on Defense all night. If they do that there will be no free layups. Also heard that Dreden had the Tark the Shark in talking about running and gunning, then they brought in Ray Allen to help on the 3 point shooting. After that they worked on their offense. I say Dresden will be 6/8 form the field tonight. Yep,8 shots all night the bad thing is lake county will only get 4. Dreden wins 13-10. Talk about a barn burner. No need for a shot clock just work on dribbling and the tssaa needs to take out the 5 second call. That punishes teams who dribble good.

choooo, chooooo, I am here. I look for the score tonight to be in the teen's to low 20's. I can see Dresden running some 4 corners and a high flex O. They seem to run a bunch of 4 plyers across the F.T line vs. the press, but who knows. I am soooooo glad there is not a shot clock. I see where that jacket fan is rooting for Lake co. figures he wouldn't root for his own county team, especially since we beat them. Come on jacket man, give some love out. The big girl for Dresden is a 3 pt. specialist, leave her open and book it. She has a big wing span and covers some ground. She probably blocks about 4 shots a game, guessing. 11 hours till tip off.

Train Lake County beat Greenfield by double digits at Home eatlier in the year and had a 13 point lead in the 3rd quarter unitl TT picked up her 3rd foul and had to sit. I think everyone will agree with me when I say LC is a totally different team with Ms. Basketball finalist on the floor and when she is not.Even fans from Greenfield said the game there would not have been as close without TT having to go to the bench. If TT gets in foul trouble against Dresden it will benefit the Lions. Not knocking Dresden they have a good team but playing the #1 Team in the state the lady falcons is a little different animal, it has been said all year that LC was the best team in the district and Bradford, UC and Greenfield were all about eaqual. LC did not go undefeated in the district reg. season and tourney for nothing. About that OT time game with Greenfield think you guys lost at Greenfield during the season. Oh well it is fun to still be talking b-ball this time of year and it will be a tough chore to beat Dresden, as I said they have a good team, but I believe in these Lady Falcons!!

Quote me on this: "Lake County is the best single A team in the state." Dresden is hoping for that one game when the stars align and the breaks go our way. That said fouls are part of the game. TT in foul trouble, of course that would help. Just like if Glisson gets in foul trouble, which would benefit Lake County. No, I am not comparing Glisson to TT. TT is a well deserved Mrs. Basketball finalist. Glisson is a good player on a good Dresden team.

Also, everyone sitting around me thought they were using profanity. The back court was a good call...her foot went over the line...I saw it clearly. And yes, Greenfield missed a lot of shots under the goal...we most certainly did....some of them were due to yall's big girl, Phillips.

 

Anyways, congrats Dresden....I see your season ending when yall play Lake Co. Your girls didnt handle the press very well..I wish we'd gone to it earlier in the game. Lake Co. is very quick and athletic...thier press will smother yall.

It is meant to sound like that. It is no different that saying shoot, dang, crap, or other substitute words instead of curse words. I am proud that Dresden kids have enough respect not to use foul language.

Second, I was at half court. One foot and the ball crossed. One foot stayed behind the line. I was closer. You already said you were behind the Dresden bench. I was right there. Next I remember Dresden missing at least 4 wide open lay ups, should have won by 14 or so. We will take a 5 point win anyway.

The press gave some trouble about the first three times, then we went through it like a hot knife through butter.

Last game, ya'll lost to Lake County by 2 in OT. We beat ya'll by 9 and 5. Don't you think we have a chance? Why aren't you giving a fellow county school some support? sour grapes?

Congrats Lady Lions. They played hard and hit their free throws.

The bald headed, black ref was absolutely the worst I've ever seen. He blew his whistle a lot, and 95% of the calls were against Greenfield...especially the last call...when he called an offensive foul on McMullen near the end of the game.....it would've tied the score at 36 with seconds left....terrible call at a critical time.

 

Also, I want to say how disappointed I was in the student section of the Dresden folks. They chanted "Bullsh_t" many, many times when a ref would call a foul on Dresden. Low class. What was worse was that the principal of Dresden just sat on the bench and did nothing about it. He was sitting right in front of me...he heard it. Terrible.

Not true at all for those who read the above post. They chanted PUSH IT, go get a hearing test. I can assure you that if Mr. West would have heard something like that he would have been on them like a fat kid on a cupcake. As for the calls, knew the excuses would fly, they went both ways. Do you remember the backcourt call on Dresden. Three points have to cross and her right foot never did. Not to mention the easy shots, lay ups, that were missed. Anyway, congrats to Greenfield on a good year and the two seniors on their careers. It was great seeing them play. Now, lets go to West Carroll.

This game actually means something so you want see the same Greenfield team as last week. Greenfield wins easily over your lions.
