For the fans who are saying "wait 'til next year", here's your chance to speak your mind. Who wins state next year in Class A and why?

I agree with the Grace/Valley prediction. I'm a little surprised you picked Temple over CCS with your open disdain with Temple.

Should be a close game. Valley has had a tough year and could pull an upset over a Grace team coming off a tought win at Temple. Grace is probably still a little winded from their celebration after winning state, oh i'm sorry, after winning district, so that could come into play.

Shot clocks have improved tempo and scoring in both the NBA and NCAA since their inception. I don't know why a shot clock hasn't been implemented yet in Tennessee, but it works in other states. Why not try it in preseason tourneys and see if it works.

It's really sad when you see a classy team like Grace get associated with such a classless group of fans. Grace had a history of being crass towards Temple. Last year the entire Grace student section had to be moved from behind Temple's bench for cussing at their players, even going as far as ridiculing them for some of their moral standards. Even seeing those things, it was still shocking to see a school storm a basketball court for winning district. I can maybe see that for winning sub-state or even region, but district? The fans tainted a good victory over Temple into a punk display. In Region, STAY OFF THE COURT.

fatchance, you sound like a retarded babboon. CPA won't win it but they'll beat the crap out of Temple. Yeah I know, you're talking about state, learn how to talk. And learn how to spell the word "THE". Anyway, Temple will be back to state next year and will bring back the ball for a 3rd time in 4 years. They have 4 juniors and a freshman starting. NO SENIORS and they are still 2nd in region. And also, what fall are you talking about? Boyd always gives their best effort in their gym, anybody that has a brain cell knows that. CPA wins by 10 though.

If Jon Cook of CCS wins Mr. Basketball, Chattanooga will have been represented by 3 of the last 4 Mr. BBalls (Holwerda and Skogen). Even if there is a Western bias, the voters will choose the right man. BTW, if CCS wins state, that would give Chattanooga a 4 year reign in A Ball (CCS, Temple twice).

nader64, I will say that McCallie had the best section last year, but this year they're pretty lame. One question though, why do they start singing "Happy Birthday" for no reason? I've always thought that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

mclove17, what was the point in that post? If you haven't seen CCS play, how can you say that any one of those four players are better than Cook? Cook is a frontrunner for Mr. Basketball and CCS is a favorite to win state. I guess the point was to show that you can spell that Angus Obi-wan-kenobi guys last name. Pretty Impressive.

How is Temple overrated?! They are undefeated in District play so they definitely deserve that. As far as region goes, I don't hear a lot of Temple fans (or anyone else for that matter) saying they're better than CCS. Temple is and deserves to be right where they are, 1st in District and 2nd in Region.

I've seen both McCallie (twice) and CCS this year. Two words, "John Cook". CCS wins by 10.

One of my friends and I started the "Crusader Crew" at Temple. Now every school in Chattanooga tries to copy us. A good name for your section would be "Wayne's World".
