I have seen Dresden, Gibson, JCS, Union City. If I were ranking these teams I would say Union City, Dresden, Gibson County, JCS. I believe Union City and Dresden both win Sub-State games and move on to the Boro. When UC decides to play it is game,set, and match. When Hatchel plays for Dresden they are very very good. In my opinion Dresden was better than Gibson County and is better than Gibson County. hatchel and McAlpin were unstoppable, #4 was unstoppable for GC, if you play Dresden zone you better pray they are off shooting or they will eat your lunch. Either way I am pulling for Union City, Dresden, Westview, adn Dyersburg. I hope they can represent West TN well....

I also believe that Bradford is looking for an assistant boys and assistant girls coach, but boys job may be filled, not 100%

Based on what I've heard, Gleason is staying in house with the hire.
I have heard that they have hired someone out of house earlier in the week. Still looking for confirmation.

Eric Volbert will be the new head coach at South Gibson County High School. Congrats and a great hire for SGHS.

Still no word on SG job? I have heard the middle school coach is interested. Can anybody support this? I also think Volbart would be a good fit but can't get anyone to confirm he is a candidate. With just a few days of school left does anyone know if the school plans on naming a coach before the kids get out? It would be nice to get a plan together for these girls for summer. Lets go already!!!

Heard a couple names also but nothing for sure. A decision should be coming soon. Look for the later part of next week. There is also noting definite yet on our sister school teh lady tide of Trenton. I have heard some names rumored but nothing 100%. Possibly a decision today or tomorrow.

I am hearing that a decision could possibly be made late this week or early next week. Have heard some interesting choices and teh coach could possibly be new to the high school level or any level for that fact. Either way it won't matter until the high school coach has some control over the middle school.

Coach Larry Eddings of the Bradford Lady Red Devils announced today to his team that he will be stepping down as coach! He will now take the assistant principal position at Bradford High School. Asst. Coach Jenifer Dethloff will also step down from her spot to focus on her position as Head coach of the Softball team! The question is up, who will coach this group of girls??? With 7 seniors next year looks like it should be a great season, but who will step in to fill these spots???
They may have 7 seniors coming back. They also lost the one that was the tick tock to their clock. They will be an entirely different team next year.

Coach Sean Stephenson resigned from Westview High School yesterday after a very successful tenure. He is a great coach and will be missed but that begs the question, who's going to be the next coach at Westview?
