Coach McBrayer is now coaching at Seymour prob make twice as much as he did up here

Having also playing under McBrayer he done more things than just Coach football. He made sure that we would grow up to be the best and most classy men that we could be. Coach McBrayer is a good Coach and I have all the respect for him not only as a Coach but as a man also. He changed the team around in every little aspect possible, the record might not have shown it but he did. He layed the building blocks for the next Coach to take it up another level. It just didnt help that the school board didnt respect him and give him what he needed to become a successful coach. Only one of the school board members tried to do anything to help out. The others could have caredless. I guess it didnt help that nobody in the school gave any of his teams a chance and had no support. He really was a good Coach he just never got any breaks. It was always something from a different person everyday. He had the talent and Coaching staff to have a playoff team but you need more than that to become successful. I wish the best for him and his family. God Bless

Does Union Co have any hope with a new coach?????

I think Union County's Patriot Nation gets pretty rowdy. The past three years the Patriots are 42-11 at home. That is also against teams that have came in from different states. The Patriot Nation most of the time even out numbers other home student sections on away games. I think this is one example of the 6th man!

I think that this will be a very good game.Pigeon Forge jst got done with a bye week and Union Co. lost to 5a Campbell Co. which they should have won.I think both teams will be ready to play.Just who will play better?

Who do you all think will win this 5a-3a matchup?I think Union Co. will be ready to play after Claiborne beat them.Campbell Co. had an off week so will they be ready to play or just lay down?The game last year came down to the wire.

I have a feeling this is going to be a heck of a game.I havent decided who is going to win this one yet.

Im gonna have to go with Union Co on this one.I agree that someone needs to get them back like that.I think if Coach McBrayer stays long enough and the athletes that are at that school finally decide to play then they can run with anybody hands down.

Did anybody see the GP qb in Prepxtar today?

Yes both 18 and 1 gradtuated.They both play for Concord University in West Virgina now.#1's litttle brother is one of the runningbacks now.He is a pretty good linebacker as a Soph now.

Good post Pride.Union Co. had a real good week of practice.I think we have improved alot since last week.If both teams bring tier A game this will be a real good game.

It will be a good game.Greenback is in a rebuilding year and Union Co. has quit shooting themselves in the foot.I think both teams will be hungry for their 1st win!

Union Co. dosent have an excuse.They have a young secondary.They beat themselves.Nothing that cant be fixed though.I think Union Co. will be better as the season goes on.Who will get their 1st win come Friday night?I think Union Co. will beat Greenback in this contest.

Union Co.Is starting to get a good student section,but its not up there like Halls and Clinton but give it a year or so and it will be up there!

Thats exactly our problem,I bet I could name 15 people that would make a diffrence in our football program.That would make a dramatic change!
