Frey wasnt taken out of his game... he scored 15 in the first half alone.. he scored more the second game than he did in the first.. gp just had a tougher time getting him the ball in the second half.

Goodpasture is underrated and they played bad againsed Whitehouse.

With Josh Bone and Brandon both being seniors i dont think BA will have a problem winning the state championship for the fourth year in a row.

I see Goodpasture takeing the distrisct 9-A championship. They have suprised their district by comeing in second, almost first when predicted a distant third. They will more than likely play Ezell on thursday who they have played poorly againsed both games, still managing a double overtime win in there second meeting.

The Class A Mr. Basketball race looks to be turning into a 4 horse race...
Nicchaeus Doaks, Xavier Webb, Joseph Bailey, and Caleb Skogen seem to have distanced themselves a bit from the rest at this point in the season...
The leaders of the pack right now have to be Webb and Doaks...
Both are averaging 26 ppg, 14 rpg, and between 4 and 5 bpg...
Webb has had games of 43, 38, and 32 already this year, and has hit 4 threes or more in a game THREE times already, and he is 6'9!!!
Doaks is rivaling Giles' Tyler Smith for the most highlight dunks in the year so far. Doaks has also done damage from the outside, but has been an absolute monster attacking the rim...
Bailey is putting up 20 ppg for one of the state's best teams in 6-1 Pickett Co...
Goodpasture's Zach Frey has thrown himself in the mix as Middle Tn's 2nd best candidate (behind Bailey) with 25+ ppg... Frey definitely has the stats, but his team is not very good, and has several blow out losses, and seems to benefit from padding his stats in these losses...
Shane, Sikes and Puckett have had average starts to the season, and for the moment have dropped out of the Top 4, though Shane is playing the best of the 3...
Lake Co's Tyler, JCS' North, and Halls' Patrick have had great starts, but lack the 'star power' to attract serious Mr. Basketball attention this year...
My top 5 in Class A for Mr. Basketball
1. Xavier Webb, West Carroll
2. Nicchaeus Doaks, Trenton
3. Joseph Bailey, Pickett Co
4. Caleb Skogen, Temple
5. Brandon Shane, Greenfield
Goodpasture has not been getting blown out of any games, they had a chance to win all of them. They only lost by 10pts to Maplewood and Frey sat out pretty much the whole first half and still managed 18 pts. Goodpasture only lost by six to Father Ryan and 4 to pope... all of these games should have been won. The other teams never put in the lower classmen to finish a game.

How can you say that Ezell will crush Goodpasture? Goodpasture beat Harpeth by about 14 and Harpeth crushed Ezell by 20 points and you cant blame a 20 pt loss on the refs. Ezell's schedule isnt nearly has hard as Goodpasture's. I believe Goodpasture will be much more prepared considering who they have been playing. However the Goodpasture Ezell matchup should be a good one.

If the big man being referred on here is Frey for Goodpasture, Cheatham Co. has nothing to worry about. Frey is not very good at all. He is soft slow and weak. He had good stats last year because the smaller player guarded him and Daniel got most of the attention. Don't worry about Frey, he is terrible.
Moose, if Frey is terrible I hope he never gets to be any good. He had 41 points, 8 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Not taking anything away from Noel or Cheatham but in the words of Bill Shakespere, "that ain't bad" for being terrible.

A lot of the people that post bad things about other players are just fans and dont realy know what they are talking about... IDIOTS that talk bad about the kids, and when a player logs on and sees the bad things being said about him i believe it brings there confidents levels down some.... but for others it gives them an AMAZING adrenaline boost...

Frey can match up with him. Dont know about the rest of the team and how they will do but i see Frey and Lackey will be a good battle. Sikes could prolly stick with Lackey... he is week

Dont tell everyone where someone is going if you dont know... because you DONT.. i know Pat and not even he knows.. he has favorites but he hasnt told anyone where he is going... and the only reason some of you say that goodpasture has the most over rated teams in the state is because it takes 3 people to stop them. If you dont know exactly what your talking about.. tell us...or DONT say anything.

I think Goodpasture just had a bad game... I realy do thing the majority of you are underestamating them, i believe the will make the playoffs with ease.

Thunder beat YAB as i said would happen.... now they will beat the Rage and then they might have trouble with the hoopsters but i think they will pull it out. They will go on to win the championchip!!!!

Correction.... 16u Thunder is competing not the 15u and i predict an upset and the Thunder taking it all or at least in the top two i think they can beat motep which looks to me the most compatition
