He was speared in the back. He was on offense when it happened. Go figure ?? He isn't even a running back ?? He was blocking and for some reason only the Giles player knows he was hit in the back ...........5 yards behind the play .......... He went to the doctors today haven't heard anything yet. Our team doctor last night seemed to think it might be a fracture in his lower back. I hope and pray he is Ok. He is only 15 years old. I know you Giles fans dont wish injury on anyone ???????????

So your saying you team doctor last night said #55 might have a lower back fracture but within minutes rolled the boy to his side rubbing his back and then stands him up and allows him to walk off the field?

I would say one of two things is going on here, either....

#1 this doctor is a quack in thinking it might be a back fracture but stand him up and walk him off the field, or

#2 it more of your crybaby junk trying to make some boys look bad because they just beat the snot out of your team

I don't think Giles Co has been tested this year at all with their district. Columbia Academy is in my opinion the best they played. And they had an off year this year. I think fairview moves forward not because of their team, but because their goalie is outstanding. Now had Giles Co played their last game scheduled against Columbia Central I would be able to compare and see just how Giles Co matched up against an upper level team. As far as I am conserned .. Giles and fairview come out of the weakest A\AA district\region in the tournament.

 

My Prediction is lipscomb and WhiteHouse win in that bracket by a minimum of 2 goals a piece

Giles county is better this year than in the past, but CA will be ready and will be a full 11 this time without help from the ref and a red card. This will be a physical game and will be different outcome the first game. Wait and see. I would also like for the giles county players to let their play speak for themselves this next time not their mouth, there were alot of F bombs and cussing coming from their mouth last game, please show some class, if not I hope the refs will be listening this time. I am also wondering why giles co. cancelled their game with Central, CA played them, why not play them Giles co.??? Just wondering!!!!!

#1....CA acts like the referees were so bad to give the game to GC....first of all they didn't give GC the game. Please tell me why your player can kick a goalie in the face, the goalie is out for the game and the referees were horrible in red carding the kid? GC did score at full strength...admit it!!

#2...Hipocrites talking about GC players mouth...should have heard CA parents in the stands bashing GC!...and guess you didn't hear your players on the field

#3...what about CA #9 standing over GC #8 after he fouled him, doing the throat slash jesture standing over the injured player??...is that what you mean by show some class?

#4 I have game film and 250 still photos of the game if anyone wants to see let me know.....I have a ton of CA fouls I will show you. CA keeper punching GC #4 in the face....came out of the game with a black eye! GC forward #10 hit in the head at least 5 times. CA player kicking GC goalie in the face. CA players holding GC jerseys, I could go on and on...have it on film and still shots...send me your email I get them to you!

...GC/Central game was canceled because the 12 A/AA started Monday night with a play in game, the same night the GC/Central game was scheduled. TSSAA rules state that once district play begins no other games can be played

BTW, GC coach, players, and fans think CA is a fantastic team. My comments here are not meant in any negative tone or fashion towards CA....just tired of hearing you guys bash GC. Grow up, take your loss and strap it up for the next game. GC thinks CA is a great team....just as we think GC is a good team. We know you will be ready for the next game as GC will also.....until then why don't you quit bashing GC for beating CA 5-0

Funny all you new CA posters weren't saying that after last weeks Giles County game!?!

Giles Co. better be prepared to face CA again. If their coach hasn't realized by now the 5-0 thrashing was a fluke, then they're in for a thrashing of their own come the District Championship game. I'd take a healthy, 11 man CA team over Giles Co. anyday.

I don't know much about this game other than what people have said. I was at the Columbia central game instead.. I will be very interested to see how CA fairs against Columbia central tomorrow. Most of all I look foward to watch the undefeated Giles team for the first time on the 30th.

I look forward to that also. Curious to see how the GC defense holds up against Jeremiah who I think will be the best player they will play against all season.....y'all go easy on us. Save me a seat febreze, i'm sure you will be the best smelling one at the game.

Not trying to start an argument but every soccer player should no that if it is ever an injury and a drop ball it is always a courtesy to let the keeper have it despite what the refs says you always let the keeper take the ball the player should know better than that I would hope that he is not just now finding this out

I totally agree with the unwritten rules of soccer and agree with you....that is why I questioned the player and the referee after the game. The reason the player asked if it was 50/50 and if their was courtesty in the drop is because no one had possession at the time of the stoppage, but I will give on this one....so lets call it 4-0 instead of 5-0.

Your calling it "worst sportsmanship ever in your life" is why I opted to discuss it anyways. Funny that you called it the "worst sportsmanship ever in your life" when during the same game GC#8 went down hurt when CA#9 fouled the GC player. Instead of the CA player helping him up or at least just walking away, CA#9 stood over him and did the throat slash gesture. I guess that doesn't fall into "worst sportsmanship ever in your life"?!?!

this game was horrible red card in the third minute of the game and CA was down to 10 men right at the beggining of the game... then the third goal Giles county scored was the worst sportsmanship play i have ever seen in my life... there was an injury, you always kick it back to the keep and let him have it although giles county took the ball and scored with the defense thinking the ball was going to the keep horrible low down play on Giles countys part... this will truly be a different game when CA meets them again the refs were playing horrible fouls along with at least 4 hand balls by Giles County im curious to see how this game will play next time they meet

#1...Giles Co scored in the 4th minute, the red card was in the 9th minute

#2...it was a real shame CA player got a red card for kicking the goalie in the face

#3...I spoke to the ref after the game....he stated that the GC player did ask if it was CA ball. Ref stated 50/50 drop ball. GC player then asked if it was a courtesy ball and ref replied no.

#4...I agree, it will be a different game next time, CA is much better than the final score. Good Luck with Fairview!
