  1. Randy Coffman won 4 straight gold balls at Riverdale with phenomenal talent.  It takes a great coach to manage egos of those players and parents.  Since then he has taken over a start up private school in the middle of no where.  Said private school does not board students.  He is a a great coach and a really good dude.

Very sorry for your lose.  That does make sense.  In the original comment if the would had said that then I would’ve understand.  They responded to my 5-4A  standing comment.  Big girls basketball fan and would love to see a Chattanooga team do good one day and they should lots of talent but talent quits when they see no hope.

All good.  I coached at East Hamilton for a year and honestly saw the writing on the wall.  Until Hamilton County changes their middle school 8 week seasons, you will continue to see the same product at the high school level.

I don’t know you told me they had 2 starters out and their coach out against rhea.  From what I remember CMS had 2 grades that beat everybody too death.  Wasn’t even  games nobody wanted to play them, we sure didn’t.  What happened they went to high school just like their football teams.  What happened.  So just a freshman is their best player lol, just keep believing.

How bout you stop commenting on things you know nothing about?  My uncle who was like a father to me lost his 4 year battle with cancer two days before the Rhea game.  He was one of our biggest fans and our entire program was grieving.  Put your axe away and stop looking to grind it and move on.

  4. It was a great game between two very deserving teams.  There were some missed calls both ways.  The difference in the game early was that Muhonen was sitting on the bench in the first half with two fouls.  Cookeville built an 8 point lead without her in the game.  Did she foul?  Yes... Did she sit? Yes...  When she came back in the game in the 3rd and established her presence the whole game changed.  Cookeville only scored 3 points in the 3rd quarter.   Both teams went back and forth in the forth with each team making big plays.  The reference to free throw discrepancy has been made.  Bradley scores on post up's predominately or drives.  Cookeville shot alot of 3's.  You will have a discrepancy based on that.  The only unfortunate thing is that the game ended on a really unusual call.  The video looks worse because you see everything clearly.  It was a great game and fun to be a part of as a fan.

Just to add more discussion,  the overall female talent level is so much better now than it was 10yrs ago and especially 20 -30yrs ago.  I have seen just about every female listed above  play in person. I think overall Azzi, Howard is better in college  than she was in high school, my opinion..never seen her play but they say Nera White is the best female basketball player to walk on planet earth.

After Rhyne was snubbed by the McDonalds All American committee she went on a stretch of total dominance.  I saw it culminate in a district championship game where she scored 42 and made it look easy.  She dominated on both ends of the floor.
