How can you say if Liberty played in Memphis they wouldn't win as many games? Liberty has played a tougher schedule than any Memphis school has come close to playing and even if you do count the R-E loss they are still 12-2. That is playing some of the best talent in the nation not just Memphis. I agree that overall Mmemphis has by far the best basketball in TN, but Liberty has played 3 of the best teams in Memphis and to add on to that played Haywood, Bolivar, and four teams either nationally or regionally ranked. Liberty would do just fine in Memphis and would win just as many games as they would playin anywhere else in this state.

If Liberty and R-E met again I can almost guarantee there would be a different outcome.

the only reason liberty chose not to count it is because r-e didn't count the hof game when liberty beat them last year

I don't know how many games he would win. But, his kids would learn fundamentals and get better in his program.

You are correct. I say that cause I am from rural West TN, but I am in Memphis now. When they say the best in West TN they exclude Memphis, for a couple reason. Number 1, very few boys teams would be in the rankings, that is starting to change some over the last few years, but 10 years ago that was the case. Second, outside of Memphis there are only a few AAA schools, so most A and AA could not keep up. Before all the Liberty, Bolivar, and UC people jump on me. Those schools could challenge, and Liberty might be the best in West TN, including Memphis, at least top 3

I'm from rural West TN and I believe that Memphis should be included but as you stated, people won't because they want their teams to be included.

right now I believe Elliot is the better player because he is a year ahead of Leslie, but I think Leslie has the better future ahead of him.

Maurice Miller, Broderick Gilchrest, and Deaundre Bynum are the present. Leslie McDonald, Elliot Williams, Timothy Ware, and Gentry Hines are the future.

Baseballa its going to be a great game. They will play Dec. 12th and Dec. 19. They are loaded. They go as deep 12 players. Their freshman team won the championship with a record of 24 - 0. I know that not saying much, but its a start. They have 2 of the best guards in the state with Tim "Ray Ray" Ware & Patrick "lil Pat" Lee not to mention that front court with 6'9 Jeremy Hampton and a 6'8 Sophomore.

I have played against the two guards and Jerry Hampton. I heard Pat has grown a lot in the past couple of years, is this true? Also, Ray Ray was a heck of a player when I played against him and I'm sure he has only gotten better.

Icy, if BTW can pull this one out I will start considering them as a contender to compete with Liberty. You want me to give them respect and I will if they beat Hamilton tuesday night.

I'm glad that people are starting to see how the players at Liberty are not only good basketball players but also good young men too.

I made the trip to the marshall co hoopfest last year with you. that should tell you what you need to know.

This is coming from a Liberty supporter. I watch the best team in AA play and trust me I know what good basketball is and Union City is a good basketball team. They might be small but their pressure will cause you to turn the ball over. I'm not saying they will beat White House but they will give them everything they want plus some

I did not read Coach T last year genius. I know more about the game of basketball than you will ever know. I am originally from Indiana, and if you know anything about basketball you should understand. But in today's times common sense is just not to common. Have a nice day genius.

Liberty will take this one by 15. The only reason I say it is going to be this close is because of the rivalry and where the game is being played.

Where were you last year when Liberty was looking up to Bolivar? I think baseballa28 was the only person on CoachT that was preaching about how good Liberty is. Now that they've won state you want to go around preaching "Liberty Rules". They are good and the players and coaches are class acts. Too bad theres always that one fan that causes people to dislike the program. We had TheSmoothJuker. Liberty has you.

ok, i know liberty isn't playing as well as they can right now but i still don't think anyone will beat liberty by 25+. you have to realize that liberty will be getting ready to start another post season run and will be playing their best basketball. with liberty playing their best basketball their is not a team in the country that will beat them by 25+

I can almost gurantee that Liberty won't win State cause I agree with the coach that said the best team in league hardley ever wins. I'm from East TN and I know that the West is better, but I'll be surprised if Liberty makes it to state much less win. The only reason I say that is big heads fall hard and I gurantee a upset! Plus they are not undefeated if they lost hall of fame game. I think it is stupid that you count it if you win but not if you lose

big heads? that is one person on here who is a fan not a member of the team. coach williams knows what he is doing and the minute he sees that he has some big headed players he will correct it quick. nothing is guaranteed so liberty isn't guaranteed but yes they are the favorite and the team with the experience to do it again.

please don't measure how good liberty is based on Ridgeway....Ridgeway talent level is extremely down this year...so don't base that on Ridgeway....second of all Liberty will definitely meet up with BTW this year if all goes well.....You can be assured that they will not do BTW like that....you will see how good BTW is when they play Hamilton....I was at the game and Ridgeway looked terrible out there arguing amongs each other....

ok forget ridgeway. how about beating white station or losing to raleigh-egypt by 3 points when they missed 15 free throws. im not saying that btw isn't good, i know exactly how talented they are but they have to prove themselves a little bit.

Liberty is good....but who in this forum knows anything about Booker T. Washington HS......they are at least the equal to Liberty.....don't sleep on them....they are blowing their competition away by 30 plus points....Liberty is a good scoring team who attacks the basket well but have trouble with teams with a good guard combo....Raleigh Egypt has that guard combo and they beat Liberty...BTW has that good guard combo and a deep bench....so stay tuned....

When BTW beats Ridgeway by 20+ then you can talk to me. I know that BTW has a lot of talent but I can guarantee you that they aren't on Liberty's level yet. They have a lot of work to do before they can be mentioned to be as good as Liberty.
