For a single class A ballpark. Jackson County High School is really nice. 2013 TBCA field of the year. There indoor facility is really nice, Great atmosphere, for a class A ballpark. Playing surface is really nice.

I know I am going to open a can of worms. If the season would be backed one week, then the state chanmpionships would be played when the college football conference championships wouldt interfere. I know basketball is going on.Does one remember the games with over 20,000 at the games. This could happen again if the season would be backed one week, and not dealing with the heat as well.

Cookeville has been a great host for the games. There is no way that Clarksville, or Chattanooga, willhave 750 volunteers to make this experience great for the players, and coaches. The stadium may not be great, but the experience from the coaches, and players have nothing but great.

Wow, David was a great athlete. On the same team as him at Tech in Baseball. I know he is proud of those girls. His dad Jack, great guy.
Yes it's his youngest daughter, her sister also starts and the oldest graduated last year was all-state and played in 24 games this year for Carson Newman.

That's a VERY Bold prediction if you think they will win by 15+. Have you seen SG this year? 4 starters all got playing time at the glass house last year with 2 of them being starters and one being a freshamn all-state player and miss basketball finalist this year. Who I'm excited to see is the true freshman Wykle who on any given night can have 20+ points and was also named a freshman all American in volleyball. This year's team I believe is better than last year and have a little more depth. In their sectional game another freshman Franklin who comes off the bench had 21 pts and 13 reb.
If PC wins it won't be because they played a tougher schedule either.
Hey Swipes, is the Wykle girl, David Wykle's daughter?

Kassidy Allen of Jackson County, should have been nominated as well.

This year has been a tough season for the blue devils. by returning only 2 starters from last year's team. The baseball team has been to the sub state the last 4 of 5 years. This year's team should be solid as well.Hopefully we will compete tmrrw night, and no injuries will occur. This is sure a long trip for us. Thanks TSSAA!!!!!

I was shocked to see Jackson Co. put a 11-0 shutout on Clarkrange. Anyone know the details on that upset?
I really don't think it was an upset. The night before Jackson Co beat them 12-1.

Congrats to Coach Stone and staff and the pirate baseball team. They look solid against our blue devils yesterday. You got to play really well against the minor league team of the Atlanta Braves in Friendship. Good luck to all the teams in the state, and congrats to Jackson County for making it to the substate 2 years in a row. First time in school history.

The first game between Jackson County and Monterey was the kind of game that I expected. I never expected JC to run rule Monterey on Tuesday night.
