QUOTE(tricklician @ Apr 24 2007 - 03:41 PM) 826444312If Lookout Valley hasn't had some new players move in they might be in trouble if they meet the Mustangs again. I think the Mustangs run ruled them at state last year. The Mustangs have some new faces this year and the hot bat of Cole McAdams.
I'd have to agree. I can think of at least three off the top of my head with a better lineup than LV...

should be a better game than the last. as long as adamsville isn't kicking the ball around.
not sure whose throwing for either team, but lets hope its not windy...

QUOTE(Rook2 @ Apr 13 2007 - 06:46 AM) 826436506i'll name u some players that play travel ball during the summer: Taylor Newberry Team Knoxville, Logan Alley knoxville stars, impact, noah melton impact, kyle warwick impact. y don't u get your facts right before u open ur mouth!!!!!! and if you knew anything bout pitching is it don't matter how hard you throw. if you can locate and throw your offspeed for strikes then you will keep hitters off balance. sounds like a good pitcher in my book. y don't u name some players on your team that plays travel baseball.
so you guys plays seperate from your other high school teammates during the summer???
maybe yall should stick together and develope ur team by playing together...

QUOTE(sgt.pepper @ Apr 11 2007 - 06:42 PM) 826435312Congrats to Adamsville on the win , and this is not intended to take away from that win,
you have a much better team than Riverside . However ,I wonder how much longer the
people of Decatur County are going to stand by, and allow a once proud baseball program ,
that could compete, and produce quality baseball players become what it is today.
Webster was one of the best players I've ever seen while I wasn't sitting in the MLB park.

Well I guess we should get a sneak preview of the very probable district championship this Friday then...
Adamsville @ Jackson Christian for a Double Header... Should be interesting. Adamsville is hot right now with their last two loses coming to Top Ranked AAA Smyrna, and Top Ranked A Huntingdon...
JCS has played a pretty tough schedule as well, and they always bring it. Can't wait for this double header... I know what I'm doing Friday.

Riverside- 0
Admasville- 6
Jason Foley pitched a complete game shut out, and obviously... he got the win.
Sloan homered again, which gives him 9 on the season.
Still waitin on these other 15a teams to start talkin it up....
-
Sloan (Aville)- #9 tonight....
-
no prob man... i know those memphis teams in their district don't put much into their programs. middleton is gettin better though.

Huntingdon heads into their district tourny rolling right along.
On their tails is Halls and Union City.
Jackson Christian proved to have the mental and physical edge over Adamsville in district 15, but as we saw last year in the region championship, regular season means nothing now.
Fayette Academy has been under the radar so far, and I can't say too much about them other than they are alway competetitve.
Other teams that might deserve a little talkin would be Humboldt, and Middleton.
So what is going to happen folks?
