i can tell you have terrible taste simply because your name is chipper and he stinks, much like your opinion on Central. they beat two good teams when they played the tigers and the cardinals... teams that will make runs during tourny time.

 

central might not make it past liberty, but watch out... they are quick, long, and led by a great basketball player in ken bingham...

No team in the state plays for one win and a .500 record. At McNairy, we expect to beat Adamsville...it's just the cardinals that won't let it go. We beat you and you get on here and cry about being a single a school and how we're supposed to beat you and how much we stink even though we manage to make the region tournament in the hardest district in the state. And if Bolivar and Liberty didn't exist, we would be rollin to substate just like the cardinals do in their weak district. Now...Ken Bingham is one of the best players in west TN. There is no need to get on here and bash him. He has had a great career and will continue to do so. He deserves a ton of respect. I have no problem humbling myself to tell you that Brett Jackson is a great player. And we did lose Bingham for nearly a whole quarter saturday night and what happened?....We increased our lead. Good luck for the rest of the season Cardinals.

 

you know, i think i may be crazy, but i agree with what this Central guy is sayin. though it made me physically ill the way adamsville lost.. they didn't deserve to win that game. lots of mistakes were made that could have been prevented, and yes, give central their credit... they are very fast. but when you can't box out to get a rebound, break the press, or simply imbound the ball at times... its goin to get you beat. not the fact that Central has 400 more students than adamsville... who cares, they always have had more students, they always will... when I played baseball it never made me feel better about beating Central on the diamond, just because they were a BIGGER SCHOOL... i could care less.... they are a CROSS COUNTY RIVAL .... Rivalry games are played with heart, hustle, blood, and sweat... the game saturday was no different. To the Aville fans... we will see those Bobcats again. To the Central folks... Good luck to yall, your new coach has done a great job, and you've already knocked off one of the Hardemen County powers... go get the other.

in the end it will come down to free throws and clutch shooting.. and of course... who wants it more.

So this is goin to be an interesting game. Both teams are coming off victories over Middleton.

 

The new coach at Central seems to have things rolling smoothly, as does the old coach at Adamsville.

 

I can't wait to see how these teams are going to SIZE up Saturday.

 

I'm just wondering if the Aville crowd is goin to get a seat this time... or if they are going to get hassled by fans that want to sit, but have shirts on that say, "if you can't see.. STAND UP..."

yeah the schedule is all jacked up...

 

yeah we play middleton twice in 5 days. memphis catholic dropped outta the tournament kinda last minute so they picked up middleton.

 

as for the chester county thing... that 89-38 score or whatever that garbage is must have been somebodys dream... Adamsville won the game I was watchin.

Man.. this game was outta control from the start. I knew it would be ugly, but not that ugly...

 

I was impressed at the way Adamsville, after shooting poorly against Clarksburgh, came out and shot the ball well from beyond the 3 point line.

 

This was a great win for Adamsville, and that makes 4 wins in a row against the river rats...

 

 

oh and macnarry... i sense a little fear in your comment... just so you know... you should be nervous.

I really hope this is the best team TCA has ever had if you think you are going to beat Adamsville.

The games between Adamsville and TCA will decide the district championship. I think that adamsville is overlooking TCA. TCA has the most talented team in school history. They have great guards and good post to go along. This summer if im not mistaking in a scrimmage adamsville lost to the same gibson county team that TCA beat by 20! without one of their starting post players. This is trinity's year to hang the banner and Purple Nation prevails over the Cardinal Crazies

I think this one is going to be very competitive this year. I do not believe that Adamsville will go undefeated in the district this year. Look for TCA and JCS to give a shot at the title.

Adamsville has perimeter shooters... they have strength and height in the paint... just tell middleton and manasas we'll see them sooner or later... no disrespect to either team... although we beat manasas last year in the region tournament... middleton has had our number and they will be our first big game this year... looking forward to the 28th of November.... when they come to THE VILLE.

MIDDLETON... HANDS DOWN...

All I can say is that NO-BODY needs to sleep on Adamville... They will sweep through District-15A AGAIN...

 

They played great in the Region Tournament last year. They killed themselves against Middle College in a close loss.

 

They are returning a Center... Brett "Beefy" Jackson that will be finely tuned come tournament time. And they've added a little incentive to go along with the 6'5" Center... A boy that makes even Jackson look small.

 

I think teams will have a lot of trouble defending the paint against Adamsville, and stopping the fast breaks. This team hustles... plays defense... and does not lose at home...

 

Don't sleep on ADAMSVILLE....

Adamsville: 5$... and usually not worth it.

This coach isn't the best small school coach right now, but give Brandon Gray three to four seasons in Adamsville and I believe he can make a terrible team with no history what so ever into a contendeor.

Adamsville has had 5 head coaches in the last 10 seasons. If Brandon Gray can get rooted in the grounds at Adamsville he might be the best small school coach a few years down the road.

and I know the thread is talking about NOW, but hey, it's a free country.. i'll throw my two cents in.

From what I've see Jackson South Side looks pretty darn strong. Does Lexington or anyone else in this region have a chance???

Who has the better shot to win Region6 AA this year???

Biggest turn around.... Henry County, 2 years ago they were everyone's homecoming team. Now are at top of the division and playoff contenders.

 

how can you say Henry County is at the top of the division when they are 1-2 with their only win coming against Hardin County... a team that won't win a game this year unless they beat Adamsville...

 

rethink that one buddy...

 

JCM, Munford, and Brighton might mark one down in the loss column for Henry County.

I'm pretty sure the game is at 6pm...

I agree that nothing is for sure in the post season... I played at Adamsville for 5 years (8th-12th) and every postseason brought something awful for the Cardinals. This year may be no different. Adamsville has to go in with confidence... With only one senior they will have to really depend on everyone clicking at the same time. Lets hope, for the Cardinals sake that time starts this week...

 

Madison beating Adamsville early in the season was a fluke...

I don't think TCA's pitching can hang with Adamsville's bats...

Adamsville put a ton of runs on Riversides ace a couple weeks ago...

and all but 2 of the 8 homeruns JCS put on the board would have been pop flys in any other field in the district...

 

This district is wide open, but I think it will be Aville and JCS in the end...

It always gets better at the END OF THE SEASON...

 

Baseball hardly gets the coverage it deserves from the Jackson Sun... They wait until the Spring Fling rolls around before we even see anything other than a boxscore in the sports section.

 

Basketball is the same way... and it is SAD. Its usually well past Christmas before Parrott and the rest of those writters mention high school basketball...

 

So as for getting better, it will... But it is always TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE...

How many has seen Ripley's field. I think it is one of the best in the whole state.

 

I've seen/played on Ripley's field and I agree that it is one of the best in the state.

Clarksburg is pretty bad, but Scotts Hill is always horrible. Even after they built the new school their field is still terrible.
