    Nothin happened 2 A-ville, we played them in a good game and we won, I dont understand y that is so hard for ppl 2 see. Middleton has changed a lot this year and we are better, i would appreciate a little respect from ppl, we play hard and are very capable of winning games, by the way night 2 of the tourny Chester County beat us 8-2 i believe, we did beat CC last week but they had some prime hits that we couldnt match up. Good Luck 2 every1's team that reads this post.

     

    My bad man... I guess I could have gone more in-depth as to why I asked "what happend?"... There was no disrespect there at all. I apologize for the misunderstanding.

     

    The reason I asked the question was because Adamsville played well from what I heard about the Jamboree. They played Lexington very well, but couldn't come up with the win, and they split with Hardin County. Both teams having high expectations this year.

     

    I am not taking anything away from Middleton. When I played you guys last year you were a scrappy bunch. Yall played hard, Yall didn't quit, and Yall were not pushovers like the Middleton teams in the past. Middleton will have a good season. Best of luck to you all... ;)

    Do you have evidence of recruiting? If so turn it in ... otherwise consider yourself USJ's whipping post. We all have a lot in life ... that one apparently is yours. :D

     

    well i am sure there are more instances of this but... what about your boy gant... didn't he have to be given a ride into madison county by USJ's coach??? all the way from decator county???

    Being from Adamsville and having to play these guys every year I always felt they had an advantage. That advantage never stopped me or my teammates from competing against them, but what can I say they are a powerhouse program.

    I am really glad something did happen to them. I am glad they were caught, I hope they are exposed for more. The recruiting, or whatever they want to call it should have to stop as well.

    And oh yeah... With USJ giving back all their wins, that made Adamsville the Regular season D14 A Champ last year.... :D

    I watched the Bolivar / Sycamore game last night and sycamore had on of the largest sections i've seen however to be that large they were weak and never said anything even when the game was close in the first quarter..... I am from McNairy and we always have a great student section because we are yelling, and we are loud.....also about the cardinal crazies they are like us we don't fill up half the gym like sycamore but we are about 50 strong and yell really loud... therefore I think it doesn't matter how big you are it's just that you are really...really loud

     

    I think McNairy has a great one along with a-ville and what I saw the other night from Bolivar.... smaller groups that pack a punch...

    We appriciate the thanks... We are pulling for you guys... We played too hard for it to have ended like it did... We wanted another shot at yall, but things just didn't work out. I'm not sure exactly how many CrAzieS will show up thursday, but I do know when Sub-State starts I'll be there.

    I know how they work out, and I'm saying that the two that will make it out will be in the championship, and ofcourse one will win it.....

     

    hey buddy, I believe you are forgettin that Adamsville and Manassas are still playing... There isn't a Middleton/Middle College Region Championship yet. Manassas has beaten Middleton once this year. I know they were beaten down the next time they played but this is a brand new season with brand new stakes. EVERY GAME MEANS MORE NOW... As for Adamsville and Middle College... Just look for an exciting matchup. Adamsville is coming in playing their best basketball of the year. There may be an upset or two in Region 8a before the night is done.

    I never thought I would be saying this, but....

    The Bobcats are primed for the upset... They are a great defensive team, They bring a good crowd, They are quick, They hustle... They have my respect. Nobody from my town thought yall would even make it out of the district, I am glad to see that you have. Go represent for McNairy County Basketball and make an already good year great.

  13. Sycamore vs. Bolivar

    You guys are dumb... Sycamore won't beat Bolivar... Bolivar has played a lot more competitive teams than Sycamore in district play alone. That isn't mentioning the Bahamas Tourny, The Tourny in the Tri-City Area, Plus playing Hamilton, Mitchell, Brentwood.... Should I go on??? You might want to wake up from your little dream of Sycamore beating Bolivar before it turns into a nightmare.

    For Adamsville to beat a team like Middle College they will have to do a few things very well.

    1.) They cannot allow MC to jump out to a big lead as they did against Trinity Christian.

    2.) They have to be able to draw the foul while going to the basket, and put MC in foul trouble EARLY.

    3.) They can't leave #23 from MC open. The rest of the team struggled shooting from the outside against TCA. Isolate 23 and let the rest of the team shoot the ball.

    Blake you don't seem to understand that you gain respect on the basketball court not by talking on these boards. McKenzie and Adamsville are pretty similar. Most people have a little more respect for Adamsville because they actually played a few good teams. They got beat by over 30 both times they played Middleton, and got beat pretty good by McNairy twice. Yes, you guys may be able to play defense against the teams you've been playing, and be able to knock down some threes without a lot of pressure on you. But, take a look at your schedule. Point us out what team you have beat, or even played for that matter that will make it to the 'Boro???? I can't find one. Halls has beaten a decent AA team, in Crockett County twice. Crockett was tied for first in their district this season in AA. Halls also beat Brighton a AAA team twice that finished 2nd in their district tournament. By a quick scan of your schedule, I think the only AA team you played was Milan and they were 2-25 this year. And they almost beat you the 2nd time around. (Not to mention one of their wins was against a team from your district). I am not trying to bash you Blake, but you gain respect by playing better teams. You will have a chance to do that here in Region. Lets see how you do before you talk too much and demand respect.

    I really don't know much about the Northside players, but they have aquired an excellent coach.

    I saw, first hand, what he did for Trinity. He took that school from basement dwellers to a contendor. Surely he can make Northside good again.

    Moving down to AA won't make the road easier in my opinion. There are a lot of good AA teams in west TN.

    Milan, Lexington, UsJ, SouthSide, Dyer County... just to name a few... Oh yeah Liberty won't be too shabby either...

    Who does Northside have throwing the ball this year?

    I don't know about many of the teams in West TN, but I hear Riverside has a couple of guys in the upper 80's to low 90's. They should be tough for any team to compete with.

     

    I don't know about upper 80's but there was a pretty decent Riverside pitcher last year. He did well against my squad but we beat him. If I remember right he was a sophomore.

    Riverside lost a few good players to graduation. Puckett being one of them... BIG DUDE...

    They will be decent, and who knows, since they have moved down to "a" they may be very good...

    I can understand the no using "Vacuum Cleaner action word" decision since TSSAA has made that a "bad word". A couple refs have told us that telling a ref he does that is enough to get you tossed out of the gym and I have seen just that a couple times this year. I guess all the adults want their kids to be smart as a Duke student but not as rowdy as a "Dukie". How about that. Even Coach T won't let me use the vacuum action word now!

     

    Adamsville was playing at Scotts Hill a few weeks ago and the refs were absolutely terrible... At the end of the half as the refs walked across the court I screamed at one of the refs. He looked like Mario (from the Mario brothers) so that was what we had been calling him. I yelled to get his attention and told him, "Hey Mario!!!.. your new name is HOOVER because you S U C K !!!!" anyway he didn't seem to like that too much, and he told the principle at SHHS. I didn't get thrown out, but he did start calling the game fair...
