If we are going to talk about boys basketball I think we would have to go to a different thread. If I recall I clicked on girls basketball to get to this one. I believe the original question was who is new coach? I don't recall seeing the boys job opening. So do you have any info to offer about a new coach? Mike Buck has won a State Championship do we have girls coaching candidates that can put that on their resume. Would they come here with the salary cap? Yes we beat Bradley. AA Jackson County beat AAA Shelbyville also and they had alot better record than we did (25-8). So what is the whole AA, A thing. It doesn't matter what classification you are, if you go out there to win, and not just play.

How can people second guess an administrator that has been in the program with the coach that he hired. I would think that after being at all the games and seeing practices he would be able to evaluate the situation a whole lot better than just the win/loss. Maybe, he feels that the win/loss explanation is good enough. I also doubt very seriously that an administrator with the experience of this one would release someone with a letter, and I am equally sure that if he did, it wouldn't say YOUR FIRED! Let's see they defeated 5-23 Rhea Co. to get to the region. Then 6-10 Brainerd Then a descent 13-11McMinn team. None of these teams are competitive for region titles year in year out. Then there was no fire when they played for the region title (Region Title) No contest Bradley Central. It was almost as if they were satisfied with the Sub-state. When you let kids get satisfied your finished competing.
