  1. I know that centennial misses some of the players that made the same choice with jensen- Good luck with the rest of your season.
  2. Good to see you get recognition- I also played with abernathy during the summer on the U-16 team that was arranged around nashville. Every game weve played him- hes always made some impressive saves. Good luck with the rest of your season man.
  3. How about all state for division 2
  4. How about the junior goalie at CHS ?
  5. Similar story here, picked up a stick around 3rd or 4th grade and when i got to middle school my friends said,"hey you don't like running, you should be a goalie." From then on i competed and I'm in 10th now.
  6. Who is in the cage for mccallie next year, is he gonna be good, is he gonna weaken the team?
  7. I heard that the Lausanne and white station programs are folding and something about Cordova splitting. Are these players getting reassigned to different programs that are starting up? Does anyone know the facts about these rumors?
  8. They still don't have the division 2 all state up yet, im sure it will be up by tommorow though.
  9. When will complete lists be posted on TNLAX.com? I'd like to know division 2 as well.
  10. They will post it when they get back from memphis im sure. It might be up on tnlax later tonight.
  11. Ravenwood lost by a lot to cordova in a rainy and muddy game. Franklin/Centennial lost in the semis to Houston. Score was 8-7. Conditions were also horrible. Cordova won the state championship by a lot. Complete upset in the frank/cent. game and any explanation would be appreciated.
  12. What about in d2? What goalies are returning? Who will be good?
  13. I think he can control the ball better in both hands than a lot of middies . The problem i see is he slides too soon and often fishes for sticks.
  14. You must also think about FHS... Who would coach them? Im sure the juniors from FHS would not be very happy after playing with CHS for three years and then starting a new team again. Maybe F/C could have seperate Junior varsity teams for a few seasons (to build), and gradually work into seperate Varsitys. There are ways to do it, but players don't make the decisions.
  15. How do you figure Centennial would still be very strong?.....
  16. I think Cordova can only suprise a team once. Thier top two scorers are about their only scorers. I think if F/C shuts them off it would help a lot.
  17. Yall recently played them, do you have a final score? How'd the game go?
  18. On the varsity team there are 6-7 franklin players. One player from B.A. The ratio leans toward Centennial. Franklin/Centennial will be graduating 6-7 seniors on varsity. Among those 5 start. I think that they are waiting for the feeder programs to develope more before we split. Franklin/Centennial should be rebuilding next year, but should have alot of talent coming in the freshmen class. The coaches have other reasons for not splitting, I just don't know them. If someone else from Franklin/Centennial knows...... please post.
  19. Your wrong when you say they don't "need" to be. Talent wise maby they could field two decent teams. But both schools lean on eachother because niether can help funding or anything. Last year they practiced at centennial because franklin had nothing to offer. Also they lack a coach. Niether school can support a team by itself this year. Fields are an extremely important thing that both schools lack.
  20. It is very possible in the near future we would split. But we have a few players that are going to be seniors next year at franklin and have been playing since freshmen year. If they split it would ruin their senior season. Apparently the Grassland middle coach wants to coach Franklin when it splits. I've also been told that those who have played with centennial for two seasons would stay on the centennial team. I don't think it is allowed but I'm not sure. If the two teams split it won't be until after next year's season.
  21. Freedom, Centennial's feeder, has only lost one game this season and has spanked most teams. This team is around 13-1 record now. Im afraid woodland losing thier coach will hurt the program. Its tough to say that ravenwood will win division two a few years from now. Though the team will be very good. You never know what suprises teams will have in the coming years.
  22. In middle school I tried to dye my stick red. It was red for a little while, but after being in the sun, it turned pink. Also we tested some other colors on highwalls, and the navy turned purple along with the light blue. Plus I've heard that it weakens the head.
