  1. Guess those four brothers from florida and all those players from scott county werent enough to help the indians win a payoff game. Just remember that Sunbright was the last team standing in the district this season.

And you sir, are a moron. 7 point loss to a good team with bad breaks over a 59-0 halftime mercy game any day.

  2. Why do you Scott High guys care? You all had a dang good season with that tough loss to Catholic and another to AC. Yes Oneida did lose to AC, but they are not in the same classification as you two. Oneida shouldn't be able to compete with Scott and AC by a pure numbers standpoint. Just try to be positive on both sides

  3. Rockwood's coach is one of the best in the game as far as single a. Kamikawa(spelling) deserves a job at AAA. He gets the best out of his talent ever-year and definitely deserves an upgrade for a coach. When will Rockwood realize this???

  4. If you two think you could coach better then go out there and coach. Getting on a website that the players and perhaps the coaches look at is not going to help the team. The only way the Indians are going to get more wins is if they buy into the coaches. I'm not a parent and have few connections to the team this season, but I do know that trashing the coaches is going to get you nothing. The coaches obviously have enough knowledge or they would not have been hired. They were not given an offseason to evaluate and prepare and offense for their players, so it has left them doing everything on the fly. This team can gel and be very good, but it takes hard work from the coaches and the players. I don't think either group has given up on each other, but fans trashing their record sure aren't helping. King and Windle are good coaches, but even when they were at Oneida they did not have full support from the fans. Yaden and his staff will just have to learn to tune out the negative and get these boys to buy in. Support your coaches and players and let's hope they can turn this around.

  5. Lacked execution in the matchup zone? I'm guessing thats what the Indians were running. Not a big fan of the 2-3 unless they can extend it anymore. The Bulldogs by 13 was a little inflated because it was close the whole way, Wartburg just came to play in the 2nd half and at the end pulled away. Wouldn't be surprised to see Oneida beat anyone this year, just have to gel and put two halves together.

  6. Just give them time, a coach cannot be asked to come in with no off season practices or anytime with any of the football players and come out running. If the players don't look like they know what they are doing then it is probably because they don't! It's a new system and the players will have to buy in to the system which isn't an easy thing to ask. All they can do is work hard and hustle and eventually this team will work it out and come together. This coaching staff seems to have so much pressure on it and they haven't had anytime to work with the players. This is a team with a lot of talent, and coaches who proved they can win at a lower level. Give them some time to prove they can win on this stage.

  7. I agree for the most part, but Coach Yaden will have to decide on a rotation eventually, and a few will be left out. A team cannot realistically play more than ten people a game and expect the players to feel involved. What's true and unfortunate is that there are so many good players for this team. So many players offer a different variety of skills that it is hard to separate who should be playing where. Coach Yaden has to develop a rotation, which will be hard because there are so many talented players on the roster. If he can find a ten man rotation, or even a 11-12 man rotation, then he can max out his talent. By the end of the year i believe he and his assistants will have this team at full speed and running with anyone.

  8. Give the coach some time to get a feel for his players. He hasn't even had a chance to coach ten games yet! I agree that there is a lot of talent, but there are only so many minutes in a game. He will play the players he feels are ready to play. Also, it is a very different type of conditioning coming from football to basketball. Give this team some time to gel and figure each other out before making any rash comments that may be too soon. Its not about politics, it's about playing together and finding ways to win, let's give these coaches and players a chance to find an identity. It's not about how you start the season, it's about how you finish!

  9. Shocker0,

You want a medal for a safety, another medal for scoring 10 points, another medal for scorng more points than SP did against TC, and another medal for being ahead of TC at the end of the first quarter. Oh yeah, you want to say that Oneida is better than SP; I guess that would give you East Tennesse 1A bragging rights. You want all these consolation prizes, but there are none.

Just be happy that Oneida is one of the best 1A teams in Tennessee, and your coaches and players are a class act. Oneida is a great team; they're the only team that scored on TC in the first quarter, and I think someone said Coach Creasy said (after the game) that they were the best team TC had played all year. You don't need to prove anything else. You had a great year, a 13-1 record and making it to the semi-final playoffs ain't bad; it's almost as good as it gets.

Creasy said Oneida was the best team TC had played. Factomundo
