  1. naw we have several out of town and i dont even know if we would if they were in town, just too long of a drive for us west tenneseans. We will probably get in one more tournament which is the weekend of August 5th. The Back to School Bash in Murray Kentucky.

  2. THey finally put it on usssa.com but look at it, its allllll messed up. They have the TN vipers as the first place team, with a record of 1-3, that is messed up. They have the Nashville mavericks in second place with a record of 0-4. The East Tennessee Riverdogs record of 5-0 was only good enough to get them 3rd place. I certainly hope they fix all of these mistakes.

  3. We had a great time as well, i looked at yalls record and if i saw it right yall didnt give up a run in three ball games friday and saturday. way to go. Who won the major tournament? We got second place in the triple A to the SOKY Sliders. We won our first game Friday 14-6 vs The Clarksville Vols. Lost our first game Saturday 9-7 to the Hillstreet Lions from Cincinatti. We were in the bottom of the 7th inning in that game with the bases loaded two outs, i was batting. I hit a perfectly placed hit in right field quite a bit behind the 2nd and 1st basemen. The second baseman comes out of nowhere and dives with full extension to rob me of my game tieing hit. It was great. Our second game saturday was a loss to the JC Heat 11-3. On sunday we were placed as the #3 seed in AAA, and had that kid not robbed us saturday we could have been put in the major bracket and we prolly woulda faced yall lol, which would have prolly been a short sunday for us. We got to the field sunday only to be told that the Clarksville Vols forfeited. We played again later against the Tennessee Blast, a very good team of 14u. We beat them like 10-4. then in the ship we got hammered by the sliders, 13-1. We had a lot of fun and i hope to be there again next year. Whats taking them so long with putting htis on usssa.com?

  4. now that i think about it, didnt the memphis tigers pitch a perfect game to the jc heat? wow how unfortunate it was that our team was placed in the hardest pool, along with jc heat, memphis tigers, and east cobb, last year at donelson, which was more or less our first tournament ever. this year we are more prepared and maybe we will compete.

  5. that was a different team u played last yr at donelson, we will be there again this yr and hopefully we will be better prepared. We played the memphis tigers twice this year and they are probably the team to beat in west tennessee, i know thats not saying much but im sure they can play ball with you big bad east tennessee boys as well.

  6. yea, im almost positive that we will play in that tournament. It was a very good tourney last year and it looks to be this year as well. We actually stayed in the same hotel as a couple of your dogs. I look forward to that tourney more than any other. 16 teams sounds great.

  7. We played the big heat last year, nothin special. If you lose eight games in a season how do you say that no one can compete with you? I bet you will want no part of the memphis tigers. They looked real good this past weekend. Down with the johnson city heat.

  8. The Huntingdon/Camden game will be a great match.  Huntingdon, i think, will play one of the best games in their football history.  Camden will also come out blazin'.  I believe this game will come down to who can run the ball the best.  Camden has Josh Boyd, but Huntingdon, on the other hand, has a tripple threat comming into this game.  #1. Chris Donald: 2 words describe this athelete....Man Child.  #2. Phillip Weathers: The first thing that comes to mind when his name is mentioned is Berry Sanders, he may not be as fast as Bell, but he makes up for it in agility. #3. Desmond Towns: Towns is a power house and is guaranteed at least 5-10 yards a carry. Another Mustang that can hurt the cats is Scott Hampton. Hampton was unable to play in the Loretto game due to injuries.  Defense for the stangs has definately stepped up in the last few weeks.  In the end im goin to predict a Huntingdon over Camden win: 21-14.

I can't help but notice that you didn't list any of camdens weapons other than Josh Boyd, and yes Camden does have more weapons than Huntington. Huntington has a great one two combo in weathers and donald, but in no way is Townes guaranteed 5 yards a carry. If he was GUARANTEED 5 yards a carry wouldn't they hand him the ball more than they do? Camden has Josh Boyd, Heath Yoder the dozer, Byron Boyd, Jessie Leanard, and several more boys that could get the ball any given moment. Huntington defense is in for a LONG night.

  9. This is what Camden has to do to win. We have to WARD off the Stangs' good running backs. We have to Mc DO WELL in every aspect of the game. We can KNOTT turn the ball over. If all of this comes together, we WILL BLOW them away and travel on to Milan next week. I really feel these are KEE aspects of the game. (I hope we don't have to go to Carver with this bunch of Camden fans.)

Hey Blue Eyes, you got Shelly cooking us up some deer meat in that concession stand?

funny post i dont want to go to carver either Memphis could be dangerous with some of our fans.

  10. Camden is a better team than Huntington, plain and simple. Huntington won during the season because of nerves, the history, and a little bit of luck. This is a reborn Camden team that will roll all over h town. 35-20 Camden. Yes, Camden did play a lot of average-below average teams, but did any of them actually compete with Camden? McKenzie played a good game with them as did Dresdon, but thats all I can think of and none of that matters because it was so long ago. The new Camden team though, beat Fairview terribly, in what was supposed to be a close game.

  11. badcompany baseball, tell me why region 7 is better, give me reasons. i doubt you are intelligent enough to do that. are u the type of person that has to put down everyone cause of your lack of knowledge. my question was a very good one.  why dont you do some research and tell me why they are better before you open your mouth again and make yourself look like a bigger idiot.

Do you simply go with big bad fairview everywhere? Region five is overrated, just as Fairview was last Friday night. They got a big taste of what west tennessee football is all about, and that is why region 7 is better. Westview, Huntington, Milan, USJ. Dont bring past history into this. Its the next four years and i wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of region 7 state champs in the near future.
