  1. Camden did kick Milan in the teeth...when? oh...the preseason. IF you make it through this week (highly unlikely) and Milan wins, you can come to Milan and we'll fix you up real good. Got a new dentist in town and everything.

I guess this proves that Milan fans think they are the best. Camden not only beat Milan in that preseason scrimmage, but they BEAT Milan. I hear it was quite the blowout. So Milan fans are confident that they will get past GW Carver like nothing i suppose? Smart people like dentists come to Milan? WOW I didn't know that. I look forward to meeting Milan in two weeks and i will bet that the outcome will be the same as the scrimmage, if they get out of Memphis alive that is.

  2. I had only heard that about Cheatham Country, I didn't know it for a fact thanks for clearing that up. Camden completely shutdown Fairview's Bobby Martin i think he might have had around forty yards on the night and thats with about twenty carries i'd say. He was an 1800 yard rusher and he had a great year. It was the first time this season that he had been held below the 100 yard mark.

  3. Duckman..  Good post but Huntingdon is not the same team that played Camden earlier in the year.  Different players in different positions now, especially on defense.  We've even changed our defense.  If the Lions beat the Mustangs I think they will have to do alot of scoring.  I don't see Camden shutting down Huntingdon.  As for Fairview, I really don't know about them.  Sometimes players get down and then give up.  Not Huntingdon!  Look at the 1st Camden-H'don game.  Camden took the lead in the third quarter and Huntingdon starts to drive late in the third to regain the lead in the start of the 4th before all the Lion fans.  How many teams can come back like that?  In the back of Camden's mind they know that Huntingdon can get er done!  I really think there is more pressure on Camden than us believe it or not.  Camden is trying to beat Huntingdon and Huntingdon will be trying to win the game and not look at the opponent.  Huntingdon KNOWS they can win and Camden THINKS they can.  Pressure now is unbelieveable as your Rebels can attest to.  Hard to beat the Mustangs in Huntingdon.  Camden knows this.  Huntingdon also knows they can be beat too so they'll be prepared....  Go Big Blue!  Oh yea! Don't let the final score of the H'don-Cheatham game fool you.  You've been around awhile like me and you know not to look at comparitive scores.  Cheatham coach calls his last timeouts with the Mustangs still driving and the Mustangs take a knee on the one.  Hat is off to the Cub Coach for wanting to continue to fight.

I keep hearing that Cheatham would drive downfield running the football but then continually attempt to pass the ball in the redzone, turning the ball over in the process. If Cheatham had ran the ball then would Huntington still be playing? From what i hear they wouldn't be, but of course, that is just what i hear not what i know. I expect Camden to come out fired up, just as they did with Fairview, get some big special teams plays and win the game. Camden wins 35-20

  4. I really dont mean this to be disrespectful because i think camden has a great football team and i have alot of respect for them, but i was just wondering who they have played other than huntingdon that has been very highly ranked  :)

Camden just beat fairview 35-6 Fairview won their region.

  5. After all the big talk from FHS_football_playa, Gerry Bertier, etc., I seriously thought that Fairview would come to play a game of football, boy was that thought wrong. The game was already ov by the time the players ran out onto the field. I honestly want you fairview players/fans/followers/whatever to get on here and explain to me how you won your region. Did the fake fake punt formations win it for you? I dont really think that worked too well tonight. Honestly though, fourth and about 26 and u expect camden to believe that you were going for it? I am unsure as to whether Fairview's coach said that camden wasnt physical, but if he did, it wasnt a very good idea. Camden comes out with a pretty 35-6 win and look to fave h town now. I think fairviews band played better than their football team tonight.

  6. QUOTE(catfish-hunter @ Nov 12 2004 - 11:29 AM)

Sorry to tell you there LionPride, but I finished last week with a 13-3 record, in the 16 class 2A playoff games. I lost Lewis County, Humboldt, and one other game. I'll warn you this one final time Camden fans, enjoy posting for the next 7 hours because you will have nobody to cheer for once the final horn sounds at approximately 9:30PM tonight. Let's go Yellow Jackets!!!

YOU enjoy posting until 9:30 because u will no longer make foolish comments such as that. The yeller jackets go down tonight at the hands of the mighty lions.

  7. FHS_FooTBalL_Playa Call your losses flukes, i care not, but be prepare for another "fluke" friday night. Camden is the smarter, quicker, and more physical team they win 36-13. Will you please stop the talking about former games, they are not of importance, the only game that is of importance is Camden/Fairview. In fact, shouldn't you be practicing with your team instead of making foolish remarks on coacht? As far as the 200 seats go, camden fans will take those and then take over the home stands also hehehehehehehe!

  8. I think orey would have done well whether or not camden was healthy or not and i believe that he will do well against any team. I think camden has a solid defense even if they are unhealthy, but orey is also a solid runner. The camden boys were meeting willis in the backfield, but orey would usually find a way to escape, I was also beginning to worry when the score was 28-14. Im happy about the outcome of the Camden bruceton game and i look really forward to seeing the big battle next week against huntington.

  9. milan05 Posted Today, 07:45 PM

Everybody hates milan05! maybe next time ya'll will listen when i say that westview is the best team Huntingdon will face!!!!!!!!

Come on now I've seen that twice in the past five minutes on two different message boards. Don't you have other things to do instead of copy pasting the same things onto two different boards. Start a Milan board and get out of camden-huntington's.

  10. I saw the camera man go down, but did u see the punt that the riverside punter shanked over to the home stands of riverside. It hit a little kid right on the head, you could hear the ball as it was in the air too it was kicked hard.

    GO LIONS!

  11. baylor the game yall run ruled us in was nothing. It was the first tourney our team had ever played in we were nervous, inexperienced, and unprepared. Why did yall not pitch good pitchers is it because u dont have any? The game yall beat us 5-3 was our game we just gave it away. We gave up 4 of ur 5 runs in the first inning due to errors. We also left the bases loaded twice. We have picked up two new players that are most definantly game deciding athletes. It sounds to me like if ur outscored 46 to 5 the team you are playing against is better than u in most cases. The game yall run ruled us in u did it with ur hitting not ur pitching. Yall hit the ball very well that tourney unlike the last tourney we saw u in. Streaky hitting can hurt sometimes. We will meet again and i guarantee that next time we will be better equipped and more prepared.
