1. I think Carter will show people something here.

Carter 35

Fulton 27

I'm with you dude! I think Carter might have a statement they want to make and unfotunately for Fulton not here on these message boards. This should be a great one! :justwrestle:

2. Hey UCHSPatriot! Why don't you explain to the rest of us which drive busting penalties you're talking about??? Carter had twice as many penalties as maynardville and two of which brought back TD's.Did you go to the game or get the information from one of the Patriot's grandparents on their cell phone just after??? In my opinion the Hornets played fairly well considering the conditions. You've got to win those games too. However,I think #2 could have scored around 6 TD's considering he stood out there single covered all night long???? :thumb:

3. AE Roadrunners.

When you are almost to Livingston there is a big house on the right side of the road with tall white columns. With miles of fences all around it just to house the horses and cows. That is the house of the man that owns the town’s bank. He does not even stay there much. The house is a tax break. The money he saves on that house could improve your neighborhood.

The team in the dark blue jerseys on the other side of the field, support that man.

Friday night send that man and his supporters a message.

Beep, beep.

There's always an angle isn't there Skipper?I bet you also know where the DHS office is in Livingston don't you?
4. white pine how many td's did u score last week?

825742856

Zero.Did I say anything about scoring??Don't get mad at me ladies.I just happen to know alot about football and speak the truth. And it seems watts#1fan and now yourself have trouble accepting it.MCCALLIE 42 POWELL 16!!! Watts 1 TD/2 INTS/3 Fumbles!!! <_<
5. Tmywhitepine- lol your ignorant. Your comments about Watts are about the dumbest thing Ive heard. Keep talking that smack though, I talked about how bad Powell would beat Webb and it didnt happen. Just watch and see the outcome and then run your mouth. Watts will never play like he did the first week again, I mean he did tie the state record last week 4 throwing TDs and 2 Rushing. Just keep talking the crap. This will be an awesome game. If Powell gets out the gate playing well I think they can win this, but if McCallie scores early and often I dont know. Should be a good game andthe Panthers can play!

825742337

Here you go with those stats again. Why don't you tell these McCallie guys about your SI top 20 list that $$$$$WATTS$$$$$ is listed on.Powell is going nowhere. They won't beat Central they won't beat Maryville and they can't even compete with McCallie.Have fun at the game if your parents will take you. :o

6. Hey watts #1 fan.Have you been reading all this stuff about superior coaching?Your Panthers will find themselves mired up in another fundamental game(see Webb) this friday and the bad news is that this time the opponent is loaded.Wait till you see what these guys think about $$$$$WATTS$$$$$ running around with that ball like a purse.McCallie 42 Powell 16. :D

7. Well hornetgrad04.Unfortunately I don't have many answers at all,but I do know just a few that everyone that has ever played or watched a few games should know.Sorry, but I don't think coach woods has them wrote down in that big play book he stands with down away from the players.Football is a very primitive game.As much as we like to get caught up in all those fancy pass routes and sneaky reverses, most games are won or lost at the bottom of those piles where all the scratch'n,bite'n and fight'n is going on.You either deliver the contact or have it delivered to you.If you walk on the field,9 out of 10 times you're going to walk off with a loss.Don't mean to make everyone mad on here I'm just tired of these so called coaches buying into things like "you're only as good as your talent" or "can't coach what you aint got".Those are excuses. You think coach Quarles is taking that stance?Wait and see what he does with his sub par talent this year. The hornets should fine after this game and until the Fulton game.I guess I'm just frustrated because I think they're capable of even more than what what you seem to know they are.

I never thought eat'n crow could taste so good(40 something to 7).Hats off to the Highschool Hornets and their "team of coaches"!!That looked just like a football team.I invite anyone out there to make an example out of me after all the junk I've talked.I bet theres no sweeter feeling than when you shut up all the critics.I would'nt take my helmets off just yet if I were the Hornets. The Kee's are'nt 1-20 for nothing.I won't ramble on like I have any idea about football, but will say this:I think the best plays #11 has ever made were the two right after the early interceptions when he went to the sidelines and kept his cool.If you guys can keep sharpening those stingers you just never know whats in store? thumb thumb
8. Sounds like powell got all caught up in a game of FUNDAMENTALS.I wasn't there but I'd bet my teeth that the mighty panthers walked out of locker room to open the game.Good luck this season guys. You better hope I'm the only person that can see $$$$$ WATTS $$$$$ holding that football like it has teeth. :P

9. I know this statement will induce a biography on Watts from his #1fan but here goes:Brett Stanton's little brother Landry(freshman) could be the best QB in the entire state right now! He'll have to wait his turn, which gives you guys a whole year to talk trash, but wait till you see him play.

10. WOW, tmywhitepine seems to be on top of things when it comes to the hornets.  Since you seem to have all of the answers i'm sure Coach Woods and his "team of coaches" would love some help.  Obviously you know exactly what the hornets need and how to fix it.  I am no coach and will probably never know as much about the game as any of the carter coaches (thats why i keep my comments to myself when it comes to the coaching techniques).  Maybe you should try the same.  Just sit back and watch the game.  I dont know much about South Doyle so its hard to give an educated oppinion on the game, but if the hornets can do the things that i know they are capable of doing, i think they will pull this one out. Score doesnt matter and no one ever gets it right anyways so here is my guess...Carter=WIN, South Doyle=LOSE

11. Hey Watts#1.With all this smack you're talking about him you're either his mother, girlfriend or baby brother.Which is it?Heck if the kid is just half as good as you let on he needs to go ahead and sign that letter of intent and skip this season so he does'nt get hurt.Webb has been running and working on fundamentals all summer.I'd say Powell is just like most other schools in this area and working on tricky pass routes and plays the coaches don't even know.I'll take Webb in a not so close game. And if you're his mother you may remember the game I was at in like 1984(I think) when one of those Wampler dudes cut that guys throat right there at the exit.I was 13.My mom had to wrap our blanket around his neck, ruining my favorite blanket of course.Great place out there.I have some wonderful memories. thumb

12. Could someone who has seen Halls this preseason explain their jamboree.  That is the only time I have seen them, and they struggled against a much smaller Webb team.  I know some schools hold back at jamborees, was that the case?

825723597

What happened at the jamboree is this: They played one of the 2 or 3 teams in east TN that the coach teaches FUNDAMENTALS.I know.I know.Thats a boring subject ,but it does'nt matter the size or ability of Webb's or Maryville's players. They are always going to win most of their games because of their opponents mistakes.Good luck to all you little devils and don't get discouraged from watching that ole wing t most of the year.Fruit never falls too far from the tree. thumb

14. SD 23 Carter 20.Don't get mad at me for this one qbsdad, I'm for the Honets as much as you.I don't know how you came up with your score?Did you not factor in those "little things"(turnovers, kicking game, penalties)?Carter will lose in all those areas.I will spare everyone my opinion of the coach this time, but will remind you all that you can't skip steps when preparing for anything.I don't think the Hornets are ready for contact and question their conditioning. Why were there so many players with cramps in the state championship against Halls.I know its the time of year for cramps ,but I did'nt notice the eventual champs having the same problem.Did we skip a step?It will take the Hornets 2 1/2 quarters and a bunch of ugly hits to realize that coach skipped the contact part. The late rally will fall short with a blocked punt or interception on a 4th and 3 play where the qb could have ran for 15 yards.I will get there early with all the excitement that comes with the first game of the year only to find the green swarm going through warm ups that look like they're getting ready for a game of "merge" or "yield".And when the Mighty Hornets stagger out of the locker room(leading their team of coaches) and it looks like someone just told them about the big "lock in" over at Lyons Creek ,even the parents will know what to expect. At times the Hornets look almost too cool for a measly game of football. Players, if you're reading this, don't take it to heart. It is not your fault. This is a trickle down problem. Coach said when he came here that "winning is a process".Well,so is losing.
