  1. Seems that some of you have nothing better to do. B)

First off Chris will make his decision when he's ready and I dont think he will take the advice of anyone that has made previous comments on this topic or anyone to follow.

Those of us that are CLOSE to Chris just support him and dont criticize one school or the other. His decision will be his alone. Thugs are all over this country in schools and in our own backyards. Some of us even have them in our homes. "Scholars" are all over this country in schools and in our own backyards. Some of us even have them in our homes.

1.Yes there are thugs at Tennessee and there are thugs at Notre Dame as well.

2.Yes there are Scholars at Tennessee and there are scholars at Notre Dame as well.

To be honest with you all Chris doesnt even talk about college football unless someone brings it up. When he does he's just showing respect to the person who asked. He's pretty much worn out with all the questions and the hype he has gotten. Yes it's nice and he's thankful but he didnt ask for it and he really doesnt like the attention. That's just Chris. A good kid. He worries more about his other teamates not getting the credit they deserve. He will be the first to tell you he has been lucky to be surrounded by great teamates at Huntingdon.

Just dont make things harder for him. Chris has a great heart. He loves his home state and always dreamed of being a Vol and Then comes Notre Dame with the Tradition and Touchdown Jesus and the Highest of Educations. Kinda hard for a seventeen year old to just say no to either. It would be for a tough decision for all of us right?

Again He's thankful but the attention is kinda bothersome to him. Honestly he's not having fun right now. The kinda fun a seventeen year old should be enjoying his senior year. Just support his decision regardless if it is on The Hill or in South Bend.

  3. Well if you know him so well then let me ask you a few questions...

Is Chris not a huge UT fan?

Has Chris visited the UT campus more than any other?

Does Chris still wear his UT bracelet?

Does Chris not think his education needs won't be met at either school?

If you think about the big picture the education is gonna be great at either place and the educational support is gonna be great at either place. They both play bigtime football in major venues. But the deciding factor to me will be his love for the vols.

Well.............................................I dont really know him I just see him every blue moon riding his bike to school and then I may see him in the grocery store buying milk or something. I wish I could meet him and see what things he likes to eat or maybe even play catch with him sometimes. He sounds like a great young man. I would really like to get to know the kid. :):lol:

Some people just dont have a clue. ;)

  4. Dont be fooled!

I love to read how everyone "knows" where Chris is going to school. The decision isnt based on football right now guys....... Chris is looking at an education. Not the football aspect as much as everyone would like to think. Chris IS a different kind of kid. Many of you talk like you know Chris personally and have no clue what his goals are in the future. " Mommy and Daddy" play a big part in making that foundation for Chris and others as well. But the Final decision is totally up to him.

Chris has great support in Huntingdon and all of West Tennessee but some are only looking at the lines between those goal posts on Saturday. Chris is far beyond that aspect of maturity. He Doesnt think or act like your typical teenager He's looking past the strapping on of a helmet and putting in a mouth piece. He's really handling this as one step towards one of his future goals.... A COLLEGE DEGREE, and life after that. If football is in the picture thats all fine and dandy. If not... so be it. But I promise you HE WILL BE PREPARED FOR LIFE after college regardless of what college that may be.

So for those of you that think you know Chris and Know his school of choice...... Dont be fooled thinking this is all about football.

When you cry with him, laugh with him, mourn with him, and is always there when he needs you.............. You know him!

Or do you really need him for 7 tackles 2 sack and a fumble recovery a game to really know him?

    GO STANGS!!!

  5. would he have the grades for notre dame?

    :D:D

Chris is an honor student and his moms a teacher. She aint havin it!! Mom and dad both are looking at the education and not football. Chris knows what it takes.... He's wanting to Major in Engineering in college. Chris has taken the ACT and has scored WELL above what it takes to be eligible to pass the NCAA Clearing House and well enough to enter Notre Dame or any other college in the nation he chooses.

He's a great kid who knows what has to be done.

    GO STANGS!!!

    I'M PULLING FOR ALCOA

Gotta root for Dustin, Rae, and Brandon. Those guys have become great friends to Boo and Chris this year. They always look for each other to hang out at camps and school visits to laugh and talk as if they were on the same team. They wanted to meet up with Huntingdon again in M'BORO. That group has gotten really close since the Championship game in 04.

  11. hey reigny did u go the gp game are they really that good

Goodpasture is TALENTED but not as good as one would think. They ARE big but play smaller than they look. I think they left it all on the field last friday. They were playing above their potential. The size of the defesive line made the difference in the game. Not as far as whipping on Huntingdon's offensive line but Cody seemed to have problems seeing recievers down field on straight dropback passes (linemen were taller than any linemen in 7-2A. Out of the pocket Cody accomplished more. He did great using what he had. More rollout passes would have made a difference. On straight drop backs if the primary reciever was covered there was no chance to see the No. 2 receiver. Swing passes would have been excellent calls to keep them honest.

Offensively... IMHO.... I think the same way.... They are bigger than they play. Misdirection with the Wing T... Put a big body in the way and let the back FIND a hole. Their offense is more of let the back PICK and CHOOSE. The O linemen didnt really attack the D line they just kinda got in your way and tried pushing you around.

Overall they played hard and spent it all and still only won by 3 points. But they Did beat us.

Not taking that from them. they did what had to be done.

If they were in 7-2A they would be a 3rd or 4th seed.

EXAMPLE:Goodpasture played the role of Gibson County and Huntingdon played the role of Westview.

Alcoa will beat them by AT LEAST 21 points.

    GO STANGS!!

  12. Everyone needs to quit whining and just take it as it comes. Westview wins a few games and now they think they deserve every award there is to offer. I think they have realized that next year it's back to REALITY! (An average program) Kinda like UTM :thumb:

Just to give you something to think about: Could Markei start in Huntingdon's backfield? NOPE!!!

If you could replace Markei with either of Huntingdons backs which would it be... BOO or CHRIS?

    I SAY NEITHER!!!! POINT PROVEN!!

    Congrats BOO......... Way to GO!!

    GO STANGS!!

  13. boy ur not trying to get him ready u building a machine lol wish him the best of luck in the future have to support my dogs though too wish i could be there tonight but i gotta work however whoever wins ill be there next week if its the stangs than ill be blue and gold till they play milan again

Yea something like a Cyborg..........Just say TERMINATOR! Hopefully tonight he will be programmed for seeking out and terminating Bulldogs!!

Somebody better call PETA..... Some canines will be wrongly mistreated!!
