Any idea who so far has been added to staff at Fulton for Coach Long ??

Congrats to a great man , coach , person ..  needs all to rally around him and support !! He will make a difference in these young men's lives !! 

Where is BCSportsfan ?? He usually all over there Alcoa threads ...  crickets ......

Hate ?? really  .. the Former Falcon coach and AC head coach actually friends ...  always scrimmaged each other when wasnt playing  .. had some great games between the 2 in past years and some big blowouts from the Falcons on the Mavs and the Mavs are getting some revenge .. but listen when you boys get 6 Gold Balls  ( well aint no chance of that )  .. come on back and we will talk  ... heck just get 1 and we will talk  ..

MJ   ....  when your team wins 6 Gold Balls and has played for 9 State Championships .. a record that no other  KNOX county public  school will achieve  .. then come back and talk  .. yes they are down and may be for foreseeable future but they have  a rich history in these parts aside from the Maryville and Alcoas  ... back to the subject  .. West is darn good and  will name their score  .. they have a ton of talent and the Falcons are very short on it .. but the kids will play and hopefully all stay safe and well throughout the game  .. West is my pick to make it too Cookeville ..Im sure they wont disappoint and I will be pulling for them to bring home a gold ball ... 

Well Falcons are depleted  ... out of 22 starting positions.. they lost 18 from last years team .. the QB this year  started at WR and DB last year and the RB started at RB and DB last year  .. so that's 4 positions returning ... the lines have never played football before ... so there is alot of penetration allowed .. I cant see Central not having better overall talent..  I would say Central by 14 ..

Powell has no defense and the recruiter is gone ..  back down the hill for Powell . The Rebs will score at will ...  49 -7 ...Rebs 

Hate it about QB ..  alot of teams face adversity .. AC has went thru that .. too .. bigger issue is that Powell defense is awful ... I don't think Powell wins even with the QB .. Powell defense is not aggressive,  looked soft can't stop anything ..

I think you have to count on him getting away  .. key is does he try to still make the impossible play ..and throw a couple pics ..I think its in his genes to try and take that chance  .. if Mavs are in position to make a coup,e plays they  HAVE to take advantage  .. if they dont they dont win ..  if I was AC I would keep it on ground  4 , 5  or 6 yards at a crack ..Powell cant score if they dont have the ball  .. clock tic tic tic tic 

This is a typical who has the ball last wins type game ..  this game won't be over till 11 pm ...

I was at HV for Jamboree ...I only saw maybe a handful of starters out there for Powell .. not sure the reason...but QB and 3 of WRs weren't on field  .. defense the same .  Subs .. I think Bearden was excited playing the Powell scrubs .. I know JJ knew that Powell held their stars out .. why ?? I only Greene catch one pass . Then he went out

Yes he did so JJ could bring in the players  .. JJ  used Powell as a stepping stone.. JJ  has contacts all across the state and others with youth football  .. he is a salesman  ...  Lowe will miss him dearly  ... you will see Powell drop down a notch  ...  JJ at Bearden is a tough gig  .. 6A  with the almighty  Maryville standing in the way of any State Championship berths  .. good kuck JJ  ..you gonna need it or about 10 more of the kind of players you brought with you to Powell    ..

Yea I think he got cleared and kept having cramping issues and kept going in and out  .. he is strong as a ox .. almost unblockable  .. going to Furman  ...  he played maybe half or 2/3 of snaps which was pretty good considering  ..#55 DE and OG is his brother  .. they both tough kids ...  he may be going to Furman also ..  they have about 8 or 11 starters on each side go both ways  .. the corners, the safeties , the DT 's and DE's all go both   ..

hopefully cooler weather stays  ..Falcons have so many players go both ways with only about 30 on the whole team ..still missing their best Lineman  who starts on OL and DL .. so they have guys in the trenches that have never played .. speed will definately have to be utilized on offense as the line of scrimmage physicality may go to the Mavs  .. defense speed will hopefully get to the big RB from AC before he can get going  and we can pressure the QB .. we hoping to stay in game until 4th qtr  .. we will see ..AC has a good team and staff  ...

Potts will throw it up if you get pressure .. he tries to make the impossible throw and has thrown alot if interceptions  .. mix up coverage from man to zone will mess him up . Keep safety over the top  .. Rebels will win easy

One of the players involved has some other issues too .. but for safety reasons wont say what but also know that he was outta control toward the AC sideline during game also with some very strong language   .. kid needs reeled in and taught a lesson  not push everything under the rug with him ....  WIN AT ANY COSTS  there at Powell !!!!

Hahahaha ... "No Discipline  " is Lowe and Powell's middle name  ...  they got players on team that should be suspended from playing but because its the 2 best WR's on team  .. they didnt do anything about  it ... it WIN AT ALL COSTS at Powell  .. and with LOWE ( Mr No Discipline )
