Well, i will be the first to say Waverly got beat by Cheathem Co. tonight, by TWO points. And i have to say the Cubs earned it. TONIGHT the cubs were the better team. That is our first district, Waverly is still # one the district, though. What is positive, we now have things to work from, and trust me the Tigers will. Keep your head up Tigers... thumb

I am a fan of the Tigers, not a player or a coach or a parent. If waverly goes underfeated in the district, then i HAVE to give it to Kevin Rawlings of the Waverly Tigers. thumb

catfish-hunter, i agree with your last post.. sounds good. But look for waverly to do the same in the district tourney.

Is MVP the player that has the most effect on his team, or the best player in the district? If the best player in the district, then ricco has it for sure. If it is the player with the most effect on his team then it would be closer, but ricco is still in the lead if you ask me. Also i would think the team with a district record as the Tigers have, it would go to ricco.. why becuse they have a much better record than Cheatham Co. and ricco is a better player than Noel. So... who votes on the award anyways?

You are right catfish-hunter, we have confidence in our Waverly Tigers.... Confidence they will let loose on Cheatham Co.

Waverly tigers play Cheatham Co. Friday night at home(waverly), game time is 6:30pm. When Tigers win they will be Dis. 10-AA Champs. in regular season. Comments and thoughts on the game.

What is the proper title of the award and how is it awarded? As in who decides who gets it. Also, what are the bases of the process in which "they" decide who gets "the" award?

Well, folks.. if Waverly stays healthy and holds together they are going to be A force to reckon with. Watch out.. its that small voice in the back of your head that always seems the get ya.

Waverly is for sure a goood team. If they can play as they have so far, everything will be fine. Till, regionals.. then their going to have to step it up i think, and which i think they are fully able too. Lets stay healthy and smart Tigers.

The game was crazy, great game. Tigers played very well, though they did not control the first half as josh15 stated. Pflieger played a great first half, but the tigers got him calmed down the second half. Tigers played hard, but at times were missing more than they needed too. Also they have to see on offence... I have to haller out to #42 hollis, he played hard and took some hard hits tonight. This is off subject but... I was thinking on the way home from the game tonigh, with the snow coming down. I hope if there are any players that read this post.. they understand they have been blessed, and have been given a talent. And they need to take care of themselves, and understand with power and talent comes repsonsibility. If your not a player, i hope you support "your" team. I know i jsut talked about players, becase this is a sport website. Also i am a fan and go to games, and sometimes get carryed away. My point to that is, understand it is jsut a Game, its how we carry ourselves that is important. Also, hope everyone goes to chruch tomarrow, its Sunday.

Where do people think Waverly is.. top 20..10 or 5, maybe. I know they are winning around here, but i dont know about the rest of the state. I hear there are some real Good teams around the state.

Out of all the mess in the few post i have to agree with KingCub00's last post the most. Also, Catfish-hunter please stop acting like you run the place, i would hate for someone to put you in your place. So, just stop and if you cant just done post on here. You bring up all this "stuff" that has nothing to do with what the Topic. Which is: Harpeth vs. Waverly... No harm or act of violence meant in post.

Better.. is all you need. Same or equal means, same or equal too. So better means Waverly is better.. as in will win, as in District champs.
