  1. I garuntee you that this is going to be a big crowded game. Im going to have to get their early to get my seat. I have had a rough day at the doctor. I layed down on that table and started reading my Murphy Fair book and that doctor didn't even give me a warning. You think im joking but im not. I hope Grider has taken out that passer roleout run play. That play stunk. I still can't believe Grider called that play when it was fourth down and we needed 14 yards for a first down. I will try to get their early tomorrow and bring my book and red bulls so we can read in it some before the game.

Roy, whats this mess I heard about jaspers new uniforms having black on them. Doesn't Murphy list them as purple and white?

  2. Roy, I hope your doctors visit goes well today. I heard last night that this Grace team has a ladder set up on their sideline just for you. I think they are wanting you to read a little about the Pirates before the game. Maybe the whole team can gather round the ladder for some hot cocoa and a little reading. Have a safe bus ride up to this Grace school. :roflolk:

  3. Coach J,

Glad you guys could hold off the mediocre 1A Pirates. You should think more of your team. Obviously a very well coached team with great sportmanship. I want to commend #71 who at one point in the game walked about 15 yards away from his team and helped Mr. Robinson up off the turf. Bar none the best game either team will see all year. You came away with a win from here but I know there feeling it and will be for a few days.GO PIRATES :roflol:

  4. Here is my take....Boyd is not as good as I thought and with Terrell at quarterback we beat them on a wet field at their place by 2-3 touchdowns easy no questions asked....Our defense (held Boyd to 12 pts) and special teams played great tonight and kept us in the game the whole night Great job guys...Travis you are going to have to work hard next year to be the qb he punted great though....Now we lost tonight but this is what the positive is out of the situation....We played in my mind the number 1 team in 2a at their place with horrible field conditions and a backup quarterback who never got into a rhythm and we still about won the game...That just tells how good of a team the Pirates have!! And Boyd's line was not a factor at all tonight...our line has improved tons over last year and that was great to see tonight and I promise you we will not face any bigger boys the rest of the year...even though we lost Good Job Pirates on working hard tonight....Lookout Valley, I am sorry we play you guys next week cause Terrell will be healthy and those Pirates will be mad they lost :D LOOK OUT!

This might be true, may not. With Terrell you might beat us, but without those 2 blocked punts, ya'll might of had a goose egg tonight. Your boys fought hard. There are a bunch of things that factor into this game. I knew as soon as I heard that the QB was out, that no matter how much we won by, he would of been the difference in most peoples eyes.

Heck last year, if we have a Nic Hughes pre acl tear we might beat you last year, or if Anthony Hathaway plays 3 years ago, we may beat you guys then too. I think this is actually the first year we have actually had our best player on the field and we have a heatlhy team since the last year we went to the state finals in 2004. :D:D

Speaking of "woulda shoulda coulda" You guys got the W tonight, the score shows that. You should be very very proud! :thumb:

  5. Pirates take one on the chin....But everyone knows this was one of the few games played tonight.

Pirates were in pads for 3 hours prior to kickoff. Bucs obviously didn't want to meet with T. Rob on

the field. But hats off to the Bucs for a win against the best team in 1A and 2A. GO PIRATES. Move

forward toward the Gold Ball.

  6. What everyone may not realize is that this SP senior class was coached in JV winning multiple region championships under the current LV assistant coach. Since his time at LV,look what has happened with this program.

This says big things for the PIRATE team. Good people come out of good programs. Good luck to both teams but, my heart stays with the PIRATES. Remember, once in, you never leave unlike some Jsper fence jumpers.

  7. GO FAIRVIEW.....!!!!!!

I hope tonights game is as good as Tuesday night.

I must congratulate the Fairview Seniors for setting high goals for future teams in Fairview. Hats off to a great senior class .........lets see an upset

  8. Fairview was up 1-0 until about 15 minutes left. DCA tied it up. The goal was made with F-view keeper on the ground with the ball. Not sure if she had complete possesion but ...... All OT options were exhausted and the game came down to PK's. Fairview made all they took and Fairview blocked one and DCA missed one

    for a Fairview victory.....

  9. Chester, I don't know who you are, but Boyd does not have ANY garbage on their team. These are all good young men. God does not make garbage, so please do not talk like that about the players.

YOU BETTER HOPE GOD BRINGS YOU A MIRACLE FRIDAY NIGHT.....OTHERWISE i THINK THE MIGHTY PIRATES GOT YOUR PRECIOUSE BUCS IN THE BAG...... :thumb:

  10. The primary intent of school is of course education. If you are at all aware of the current movement in the educational world the latest successes are primarily in small community based schools. And as far as sports go there are only so many starters in any sport and with a larger school fewer people actually get to participate at the game level. Besides Jasper is just tired of loseing and consolidation seems like there only outlet for a Victory...... :thumb:
