I am an Alcoa fan cause my son played there on the 2003 thru 2006 teams and left with 3 gold rings and my daughter cheers and wants a 4th gold pendant and necklace . We have stood in the paths of Tigers, Dragons, Owls, and Buccaneers. Tornado's don't bother us the least little bit...and by the way, its a shorter trip to the Boro for us.(mileage anyways)

I am very proud of my boys they have done very well this season so I guess it does give us Marion fans bragging rights!

Yes , you do have the right to your oppinion and you should think your team will win , that's a true fan and supporter. On the other hand , I cheer and support the Tornadoes and them trying to win their 5th str8 gold ball . My daughter cheers for Alcoa and she wants that ring just as much as ya'll do , my son left Alcoa with 3 rings . All I am saying is everyone support their team no matter what and let it all be settled on the field . There's nothing like high school football especially in the playoffs , the atmosphere , the fans and the good food at the games . THERE'S NOTHING BETTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I find it hard to believe that Coach B didn't know that we were traveling. I am sure Friday night was such an emotional thing for him it would be easy to get a little dazed..The announcers had it that Alcoa was headed to Marion so when alot of folks got home they didn't know who was coming and who was going. I don't think the traveling will hurt us any, we have played on the road all year and been just fine. As far as finances we will be ok, the gate and concessions would have been nice but there is not a fan in Marion that will not see to it that we don't have the funds to do what we need to do.

 

Hard to believe that we are one of the 4th best teams in the state right now....4th best!! It's been a great weekend wouldn't you say?????

One thing you are right about is that marion has had a great season. I think you said last week that the bucs would also beat MC by at least two touchdowns. Maybe Alcoa will beat us 100-0, maybe they wont, but it won't lessen the support that this team has gotten throughout the year, and if we can't hang within four touchdowns, then just think how bad they would beat you guys!!

Marion County has had a great season and they deserve to be in the semis , I know that Alcoa overlooks no one cause like I've said before , any1 can beat any 1 on any given night and I believe that . Should be a great game and hope all the MC people have a safe trip up . See ya'll at the game

No prediction on this one. All the predictions KC are making are pure GUESSES. We havent seen KC play and 95% of KC fans havent seen WH play. Should be a good game. Low score i would say. If KC defense is as good as people say then it will be low. Hopefully WH can pull it out. Good luck to both teams.

That is my pont, 9 years ago. Even though Goodpasture has lost the last 3 state title games, they have been there! Without being insulting to the hard work and dedication these young men on both sides have shown this year, why dont we let them play and see what happens? And even though Goodpasture has 3 state titles and 3 consecutive state championchip games, we never take anyone lightly! Maybe that is why we have done so well?

Good luck to both teams this Fri. night , but like I was tellin a friend of mine last night at the Alcoa game Milan better not overlook Goodpasture cause they always find a way to get to the boro . Sounds like Maryville fans. Maryville fans have been flat the 1st 2 playoff games. I hope they are rowdy tonight. I saw the Alcoa/Cumberland Gap game and agree that Alcoa wasn't loud. I believe both our fanbases are a little spoiled.

They haven't done that all year . I think the F5 jumps out early and this one maybe over by halftime .
