This needs to be a proven head coach. Siegel needs to compete now with this tough district. They can not hire an assistant to learn as he goes, a proven head coach is needed. A coach that can bring in some offensive fire power.

Red Warrior you talk in circles. I think you are closely linked to the HC program not just a retired coach that moved to the area. This is just my opinion.

A change has to be made. This coach has ruined Riverdale. It has nothing to do with the zones, lack of players, new high schools, and population patterns. It has to do with Coach A. We need a Riverdale man back. I believe Rankin will be back to the Middle Tenn. area but he will not return to Riverdale. Crawford would be a great choice. Whether he would take it I don??™t know. He did get slapped in the face by not getting the job the first time around. Hopefully Nolan will right the wrong and hire Crawford and send Adeylott packing. Riverdale needs a Riverdale guy it has worked for the other Boro schools. Kris White would also be a good hire.

You know ... if you follow this tread in it's entirety ... you would have discovered that fact. All it takes is for someone to READ the thread. Why are you responding to these guys? Who cares what they think? We know what happened. If there are rule infractions ... it will be dealt with accordingly. Ronnis Carter and the TSSAA already know what is going on. Why respond to these guys? You are bigger then that.

Thanks for the explaination I did not get a great Memphis education so I am a little slow.

That can all be said but it does not seem right for a student to transfer(move) so many times and become eligible so quick and so late in the season.

No my mission was to find out why Memphis and the TSSAA allow students to go to as many schools as they want. You appear to know what is going on in Memphis so I thought I would throw out a zinger to get a response.

I like your number analogy ... but how does this address Melrose winning easily in the first round question? Are you proposing that HC and Melrose will play in the 1st round? I don't think you mean that. As far as East being a shocker ... if you look at East's history you will see where they played in the 4A championship games two years in a row ... and won it one year. That was at the end of the 90's I believe ... or early 2000's. Last year they had the coaching situation ... but traditionally ... East has always fielded very good teams. The jury was out because of the coaching situation last year ... but they always have had the athletes. Now they don't have the coaching distractions and they are putting a good product on the field as they should.

I doubt very seriously that HC will put 39.5 on Melrose. I know HC's offense if very good ... but nobody is going to put 39.5 on Melrose. Nobody. The game will be a WHOLE lot closer then that if they play. HC may win. Melrose may win. I wouldn't be surprised if the game were in the teens ... 16-14 ... something like that. You have your opinion ... I have mine.

Why this concentration on Melrose guys? Fairley and East are JUST AS GOOD. It will all play out eventually who ever HC has to face ... they will ALL be good games.

Nobody will put 39.5 on anybody.

Is Melrose still looking for more transfers to help out this year?

Memphis football is a joke. They have students that jump from school to school to school. This Eric Watson situation needs to be the straw that broke the camels back. It will not be because the TSSAA does not care what Memphis does. If they start winning state championships every year then someone might say something. It appears Memphis is like NFL free agency. If you need to strengthen a part of your team go get a better player. As I stated earlier Memphis football is a joke and it is the TSSAA fault.

Oakland be prepared for some more of the same just because you get an assistant principal connected to Rankin they hire another assistant for Head football coach. It is not what you know it is who you know. I am sorry but 1 year as a head coach at Moore County is not an impressive resume, he did not even win a playoff game. When this new coach was a d coordinator at BGA they went 3 - 7. I am still not impressed. Oakland fans these are only my views and opinions to this hire. It is amazing to me how so many people think that this guy is an good obvious choice. I would have more respect if they would have hired Rankin his record is impressive. Not 7 -4 as a head coach at Moore County.

Are you serious? You are concerned that he did not win a playoff game. PLAYOFFS? PLAYOFFS? Coach McDaniel brought Moore Co. back from the dead. Look at Oakland??™s record over the past few years.

Your kiddin, right? Madison just now made a play. He's a good athlete, no offense, but he just now made a play Friday night. All the other defensive turnovers have been other players. #32 has been going to Munford most if not all of his high school career. Munford has not recruited this year, they are better, stronger, faster, and smarter because they work their butts off in-school, during the season. and off-seasons. That's why Munford is at the top again!

Is #6 the same #6 as last year. If it is thats Chris Madison from Melrose. Looks like Munford still can't win with just their own. The recruiting continues. Under a cloak of darkness Munford continues to recruit.
