1. Hey I'm a big Donald fan myself but what does he have to do with Region 6AA???Maybe you should put this over on the region 7AA thread <_<

HAHA ooooooooooooohhh yeah...when i graduated it was 6AA. it was in '04, forgot they changed it last year...ah oh well.

  2. Basketball, soccer, baseball, swimming and chess!!!

Also English...you use the term "four" incorrectly, it should be "for"

no it was used correctly becuase it is called the "final four" not the "final for." must be even better than the english they tuaght me in Huntingdon, which i admit was pretty bad.

  3. I am glad Huntingdon supports their football, because that is all they have!

We scored ZERO...but we didn't give up FIFTY-TWO.

in Huntingdon's last two visits to the state championship weren't they suppose to be completely blown away? yet, they scored 40+ points in both games and broke a few state records as well. i don't know, maybe it's just me, but that does seem to be a little bit better than scoring ZERO. ;)

and by the way what else as martin got going for them other than football? no, Huntingdon does not have much else, well except for the Fillies goin to the state final four two years in a row and the softball and baseball teams going pretty far in state as well, but they admit it.

  4. to anyone who didnt think huntingdon deserved to be playing for the state game, i do hope you are willing to admit you were wrong. im not saying anyone actually said they shouldnt be there, but it was implied and most people thought they had no chance. no one else has put it to alcoa like huntingdon did other than maryville and i dont think anyone esle could have accomplished what the Stangs did last night. Both teams gave it their all in this game and deserved to be there. Congrats to Alcoa in their victory.

''He has a little bit of power,'' Lindsey said. ''He ran me over on the goal line.''

''I wanted to get in there, and I did,'' Donald said. ''Heart, it was all heart.''

if most of those guys are coming back nest year then....wow, it will be two in a row unless someone somewhere can step it up...a lot.

  5. He'll be fine.  I'll ask again, did any body notice how the defense got better after he got better?.  I know everybody got better but I think he was the impetus.  If you disagree let me know.

I agree, saw a game before he was standing out and the D sorry to say kinda stunk. i know in the Mck game he stepped it up and was in the back field a lot, but couldnt keep from fallin before he got to the QB. he really has stepped up a lot and will probably be all in the backfield friday night if he can play. my g/f said he mighta tore a muscle? or somthin to do with his rotater cup, i dont know, but if they think it's alright for him to play then that would be great, they need him. but at the sametime i would hate for his shoulder to be forever messed up by him playing this week. goodluck marcus, hope you get better soon.

  6. To answer ur ? from the Huntingdon/Milan thread, yes, I am goin for the Mustangs in this one. Seems like yall have a great bunch of guys.  Never thought I'd say this, and I'll probably never say it again, but GO MUSTANGS!

    825460484

alright i was just wondering, guess i got confussed about what you were trying to say. goodluck mustangs, friday will be great if two things happen: 1) that morning i do good on my math final...lots of praying and studying for that one. 2) the mustangs win!

the first being a little more important right now so i should get off and study, lol later.

  7. It's shame that some people from Huntingdon, that don't even play, have to act like this b/c yall have some great players, who I really enjoyed talkin to after the game. In fact, I was goin to pull for yall in State, but yall have no respect and some Milan fans still have no respect for yall after you beat us 2 years in a row. You beat us, I wouldn't say fair and square, but u did beat us, and I wish u the best of luck next week! Purple pride means something to us and I don't care what ANYBODY says we had a great season b/c NO ONE expected us to even be in that game and we were! We played with heart, and we truly showed West TN what Milan Bulldog Football is all about! This is more than a game to us and u have no right to critize us, our town, our stadium, or our program, so if all ur gonna do is that crap then I hope you get thrashed this week! Good luck Huntingdon players, especially Chris and Boo, but Mustang Fans on here that are trash talkin: GET SOME CLASS!!!

    825459005

so you are supporting the mustangs this week in the game against alcoa? you just dont like the mustang fans right, or well the trash talking ones anyway. cause you said you were gonna support them but then it sounded like you werent just because some of the fans from huntingdon are rude, just like some milan fans are and like fans from everywhere are. then you said goodluck to the players, which is who it is all about, and they deserve it. i was just curious if by wishing them luck you decided the same thing, that you would at least support the players of the team. cause you dont have to respect the fans to respect the team. i dont care to do a lot of trash talking my self and i hope the mustangs win it again this year, i really didnt expect them to be going back myself, but i am glad they worked hard and are playing again this year.

for the people reading the posts by huntingdon fans, dont make judgments about all of the people from huntingdon or the players. we all think greatly about our teams, just some of us go about showing it in different ways.

this thread should be over with, it was a good game. some calls may have been bad, and yes it was weird that they didnt hand out tickets, big deal let it go and move on. basketball is starting, give those teams your time and money like you do football, the appreciate just as much. you all can do this once again next season, and it will actually be important the first time around.

  8. ok lets remember this is the Alcoa - Huntingdon thread first of all, not lets gloat over Milan's defeat. which was a close game, both years it was only won by what? five points i think...let us put those games in the past and look forward to Dec. 3rd.

i dont have a clue who will win this one, i hope the mustangs can pull it off again. Goodluck Stangs

  9. Boo's a great back, but as I said against Martin, Milan's known for stoppin the guy who's SUPPOSE to get all the yards. They stopped Guy, Carver's #30, and we'll stop Boo. Our D is READY, our O is READY, DAY DAY is READY.  If u beat us, congratulations, you really are the best b/c we're bringin our A game!

    GO DAWGS!

    825448522

yes like last year you stopped huntingdon's back that got most of the yardage, but let a freshman run all over your starting D. you gotta remember goin into this game huntingdon isnt just depending on boo to get them yards. they also have Chris, Scott, and Desmand. im not saying milan's D cant stop them, just dont want you to allow yourself to forget that one player doesnt make the whole offense.

  10. I saw the Camden/Huntingdon game. Camden had no size on the line and it looked like they were relying on their wing t offense to throw the mustangs off. That wont cut it. They passed well but Milan doesnt pass. Milan will have to establish the run early and play a tight defense. Go to My controls, then Signature, then down in the box click IMG and put in the url off the properties of the picture. Sounds fun huh?

    825446784

yeah loads. i just got confused as to where to get the URL from if it's not on a site and saved on your computer.

  11. who cares if the players wanna add a little something to the way they look while playing. if its not gonna hurt anyone and it makes the players feel good then who cares. everyone out on the field is there to play and to be seen play and to play good(dont know if that made much since). if they weren't then, at least for these two teams, the coaches wouldn't let them on the field.

So just watch the game and enjoy!

  12. seems like it's gonna be both teams trying to pound it up the middle. huntingdon's defensive front has improved and it seems like teams are having trouble succeeding with the run up the middle against them, and milan fans are saying their defense has improved just as much as the the huntingdon fans have. sounds like it should be a low scoring game. unless someone's O-line can step up and make the holes.

  13. yeah that last year boy not this year we have more heart. there is not a room yall can fit in cuz yalls heads are so big but friday we will take care of that.  :D

    825443629

i dont beleive he is trying to say just because huntingdon won last year that they are going to win this year. he is just giving an example that anything can happen during a game, huntingdon was expected to lose again, but they didn't. the same thing can happen during any game that is played, especially when it is a high school play off game, and its the semi's. ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN!

I just hope it's a good, close game, I will be there to watch this one. hope i'm not dissappointed!! good luck Mustangs!

  14. Sorry about that, my mind was thinking one thing and my fingers were typing something else.  At least a tiger is still a cat.  Anyway, good luck to the LIONS next year in their new region.

    825442303

Ha!, yeah i know what you mean, it happens to us all.

  15. Great ballgame, overflow crowd and just a great football atmosphere.  The Camden Lions should hold their heads high after a stellar season.  Obviously the Huntingdon defense has improved a lot in the post season.  I was upset to see a lot of the Camden fans leave when the game got out of reach.  The players deserved for the fans to stay until the end and show their support.  Good luck to the Tigers next year in their new region.  Now GO MUSTANGS as you play a rematch of last year's semifinals!

    825442176

    hmm...Camden's mascot is the lion
