And just how do you know how much time is put into the kicking game. How many practices have you attended? I know for a fact that Riverside practices kicking every day. Most days the kickers and punters stay after practice and kick for about 20 minutes. You know what they say about what happens when you assume.

I am sure that Coach Marley is doing a fine job with the Bruins. I feel, however, that the Bruins will struggle in 2AA not because of ability but because of the grind of the season. In 1 A USJ would play a very difficult opponent and then have an easier game the next week allowing the players a chance to recover. In the region they are in now that will not be the case. We played USJ the last few years and they are a very disciplined team and technically sound but their O-Line and D-Lines aren't very big and over the course of the season that wear and tear will show up. Three young men from Riverside should receive consideration. Hunter Smith RB/FS gained over 1,000 yds rushing in 8 games. Sean McCormick FB/LB was second in west Tn in total tackles last year. Jay Gilbert WB/LB very versatile player.

Tuesday's game was a very exciting, well played ballgame. The Panthers had two hits, one being a Jay Gilbert two-run bomb. Camden had 6 hits. Brian Markham threw a great game with 9 strikeouts. Ross Garrett didn't have his best stuff, only striking out 2, but battled very well and made the pitches when he needed too. Camden had 0 errors, Riverside had 1. What a great game. Leonard you are mistaken about the Panthers of Riverside. Riverside is still in the playoff hunt, with the chance of finishing third in their region.

What region do you feel is the toughest in 2AA football? It would appear that it would be hard to beat Region 6. Defending state champion Huntingdon, McKenzie, Camden, Chester County, Adamsville, and my beloved Riverside Panthers. I know my Panthers are 0-3, but played perenial 3A power McNairy to a 27-26 loss. Can a region be much tougher, top to bottom?
