  1. You are living in the past.  What has the mighty Oakland done since 98?  We will open up a "can" when we face you this year.

what has oakland done since 98? what has smyrna done since they have been open? how many rings do yall have in football? how many times have yall beaten riverdale. wow yall have had a good past couple of season. oakland is still one of the 5a powerhouses and if u dont think so just look at the facts we have two rings yall have zero. yea oakland has had a couple of down years but like i said have yall even had a great year like we have had and like the one we are gonan have this season?

  2. Devin Boyd is a premier player who is going to

prep-school next year to get his senior year back.

After prep-school he will either be attending Southern Illinois

    or The University of Cincinnati.

Kudos to all of the ohs players and good luck to boyd this

    summer.

  3. Correction:

The oakland starting five looks like this

    pg-Chaisson Allen 6'4

    sg-Adareus Dixon 6'3

    sf-Devin Boyd 6'4

    pf-Matt Joines 6'4

    c- Darian Martin 6'5

By the way AD and Joines just came off their biggest games of the year

so i suggest cleveland to play defense on all 5 of the starters.Off the bench

Josh Fleming provides a little help and Shane Blissard is a 6'4 post who comes in for fouls and rebounds

  4. I am going to have to go with oakland because no one in the

district has stopped the tandem of devin boyd and chaisson allen.

i was watching oakland practice yesterday and they are going to

run a box and 1 on williams and shut everyone else down.

adareus dixon will score in double digits and look for darian martin

to stepp up big this whole region tournament. as for joines he will get

over his bad game friday and score in double digits.oaklands two leaders

devin boyd and chaisson allen will both have 20+!!!!!!!!

  5. Ankle weights are BAD! that is the best way to tear up your ankles and knees.

Best bet is to find a CSCS who can help you work on your running form and give you exercises to help strengthen your CORE. To be fast you will need strong quads, hammies, glutes and abs.

Exercises like lunges, squats, and rotational ab work will help you to get faster.

Running the stadium, hills, and jumping exercises (plyos) help build explosiveness.

Find a strength coach, spend the $ to be trained the right, safe way. The pay-off will be well worth it, I assure you.

i agree from what i understand about getting faster form is a major factor. if u run with correct form that can take a tenth or 2 off your forty

  6. I hear the players are busting their butts in the weightroom and are taking it all seriously. I can't wait to see how swole they are getting. :P

Does anyone know who got All Region for Siegel, Blackman, and Lavergne? I heard all of it was in the DNJ today.

from siegel it was justin echols, corven parks, and bruce shepard blackman had jermy mimms, kenny meradith, and miles dont know about lavergne

  7. Guys think about Big Boy Lenard Little running at you? He is a big guy, well I watched him run his 40 time and he is 6'6 265lbs and he ran a 4.27, he is the fastest D-Linemen in history of UT and in the NFL, and under 4.3 isnt that scarce in the NFL there is at least 50 or more guys that can run that fast. Donte Stallworth runs a 4.1 so...there are more Donte Stallworth's and Little's out there than just a dozen. HTV you are wrong sorry but the Reggie thing could be true but get off the guys back that is what ESPN told him, you gotta bea real jerk to be a punk on a high school website about high school football.

dante stallworth runs a 4.1 are you sure about that? if i ran a 4.1 i would be running track in the olympics not playing football

  8. football 17- your times are way off.  Anybody can run a 4.4 if their dad is running the clock.  4.4 speed is so rare i'd say as few as 15-20 college players ran it at the Indianapolis combine before the draft. If any 285 and up lineman are running a legit 4.8 then they are D-1 prospects even if they cant play a lick.

football 17- said that average quaterback in college runs a 4.6 hes crazy if he thinks thats true

  9. Lydale Nelson was starting for OHS early in the season. He is a soph, and a DB/RB. He was looking really good in the summer scrimmages with loads of potential. But the problem is ...he doesn't like rules. In fact, hates them. Word says he got angry and threatened to go to Riverdale. Well Ferg doesn't react to threats very well...............so Nelson hightailed it to Grandma's and enrolled at Riverdale...... End of story. Whatever happened to him over there, I don't know and really do not care. But you can be sure if he stepped foot on the field....it is not a legal transfer. Since I haven't heard nayone screeching about it.....I think he must be waiting in the wings for next season. And you can be sure that the Pats won't forget it.

lydale nelson is enrolled at siegel. U dont know what your talking about. he never threaten to go to riverdale. The only reason he quit football and had to transfer to siegel was because he got into some trouble with his mom. and for him having a problem with the rules, he has never been in trouble before. u dont knwo what your talking about. u dont have to right to be talkin about the kid if u dont knwo his story anyways.
