  1. I agree with everything but the finals and the MVP. Harpeth cannot beat sycamore again that was the luckiest performance ive seen all year friday night.Sycamore will win this tournament and Pierre Mitchell will win the MVP award

And i got a question who got the MVP award last year?

Kevin Giltner got MVP for the tournament last year. Harpeth's win Friday night wasn't lucky at all. They deserved to win because they played better and Giltner went off in the 2nd half. Pierre was being lazy on defense and he could be the best defensive player in the league if he would get his mind set right. Another thing was that Sycamore wouldn't look to set Aaron any screens in the 2nd half and get him any shots. Aaron had two threes back-to-back right before halftime and he hardly touched the ball in the 2nd half. Well I hope Sycamore comes out with a better intensity and gameplan than they did Friday night and hopefully they can win this tournament.

  2. Good luck to the Stars as they begin post season play this week. I would like to see Cutter and company win this district tourney and get back to the Murphy Center. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  3. First round of the tournament starts Tuesday night. Game times are 7:00 for Tuesday night and here are the games as follows:

*Note First round games are at higher seed.

    1. Sycamore vs. 8. Montgomery Central

    2. Harpeth vs. 7. Cheatham County

    3. Creekwood vs. 6. Fairview

    4. Stewart County vs. 5. Waverly

Semifinal games are held Friday night with the Harpeth-Cheatham County winner vs. Creekwood-Fairview winner playing at 6:30 at Cheatham County Central High School. The Sycamore-Montgomery Central winner vs. Stewart County-Waverly winner will play at 8:00 Friday night at Cheatham County.

The consolation game and championship games will be on Tuesday, Febraury 19th starting at 6:30 and 8:00. I hope my boys at Sycamore win the tourney. Good luck to all. Should be a great tourney. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  4. Cutter should be the MVP of the district because he's putting up about 15 ppg and is leading Siegel in assists and probably is leading them in steals and rebounds too. It's like Starfan said, Siegel wasn't even picked to finish in the top 5 of the district and Cutter has lead the Stars to 3rd place as of right now. Siegel will make some noise come tourney time /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  5. Sycamore by 3 Friday night. Should be a great game and a packed house in Lynch-Puthoff Gymnasium. If Sycamore can stop Giltner, they will win. They also have to execute offensively and limit turnovers /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  6. I can't believe that Tyler Cutter, 6'0 PG from Siegel High in Murfreesboro, did not make this list. Cutter, an Indiana State signee, has averaged about 19 ppg and has been more of a pass-first PG now the past two years and has played against some of the top players in the country during AAU ball with the TN Travelers and has performed well against them.

  7. HHS Number 1 Fan, Kiwi Dad, aka the big camera guy at Sycamore, does try to get on here and start stuff and Tyler Guye barely even got a hair cut. Anyways the district championship is February 8th at Sycamore and should be a very good game. Sycamore needs to take care of business before then and they should be fine.

  8. Tyler Guye did quit and now he's back after a 5 game suspension. He came back so he could prove to some people that he isn't quitter from what I was told. He had to do an enormous amount of running during his suspension to get back on the floor. Congrats to Sycamore on the win last night against Creekwood by a score of 57-55. The only game left that looms in the way for Sycamore is the last game of the season at home against Harpeth.

  9. Yes HHSNumber1Fan, Tyler Guye has been on a 5 game suspension and is back in the starting lineup for the War Eagles. Creekwood travels to Sycamore tonight in a huge district matchup between the two top teams arguably. Creekwood has their PG, Jeppsen, back now so this game tonight should be interesting. Sycamore's bench has to step it up. Sycamore by 10 /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  10. Sycamore is the better team right now because they beat Harpeth at their place last month, but Harpeth has played well latley behind the play of Wofford signee Kevin Giltner and Trey Caruthers. Keenan has played decent lately and is continuing to grow. Tyler Guye is back on the team, but is suspended because he quit the team in the middle of the season and I don't know how long he's out for. He's been out for 3 or 4 games now. Sycamore's next real test comes next Tuesday night at home against Creekwood and then for the season finale/district championship showdown with Harpeth at home on February 8th. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  11. Here's some updates for the district: Tyler Guye has quit the team at Sycanore and the starting point guard imo will now be Keenan Froedden. He's going to have to step his game up to another level since he's probably going to be starting now and running this team. Harpeth lost to Northeast and Livingston Academy in the Classic they're in at Franklin I believe. Harpeth played today at 11:30 but i don't know how they did. The 2nd half of the season is rolling around quickly and I can't wait to see who's going to win the district, hopefully Sycamore. I'm anxiously awaiting the February 8th Harpeth@Sycamore game, which I believe will be for the district championship.

  12. Siegel, Lebanon, & Dickson Co. are all playing in the Playground Area Shootout at Ft. Walton Beach. I know on day one Lebanon lost to Christian Life Academy (LA) 54-40 and Dickson Co. beat Palm Beach Central (FL) 56-41. I don't have a score on the Siegel vs. Pine Ridge (FL).

Thanks. Siegel beat Pine Ridge 76-34 and was lead in scoring by Cutter and Hammons with 13 points apiece.

  13. Michael Young is a really great player for Riverdale. Last night was the first time I got to see him play and he put up 26 points. He can shoot the 3, take his man, and post up as well too. He probabaly had at least 10 rebounds for the Warriors last night. I was sitting near the floor last night and Young kepy calling out the plays while he was in the post and he was scoring at will. If he had some more help, Riverdale would be a contender for the 7-AAA title.

  14. Keenan Frodden"s Ally Oup @ Pierre Michell Against Harpeth Frodden Is Only A 5"5 Freshman But Can Handle Any Guard In The State.Mark My Words Both Of These Guys D-1 For Sycamore

They are not Division 1 players. There are some guards that Keenan can't even handle in the state, he will in a few years though. Pierre has Division 1 athleticism, but is not a Division 1 "player". They will play somewhere but not Division 1.
