I personally think that only the top 4 teams and not the entire 8 should make district. To know you can go 0-30 without your best player and then he come back for that district elimination game and have a definite shot to win seems a bit awkward. If your a 5 thru 8 seed during the regular season, your eliminated.

Beech is like the New England Patriots They never win big. They just win.

Did someone say LaVergne could touch Hunters Lane because all I said was they could be a cinderella and get into the game with them, hence getting beat by 50.

That is a great win for MJ going into the tournament.

Beech, Wilson Central, Lavergne (i owuld love it if Hendersonville wins) and Mt. Juliet will win.

From 9AAA Beech Wilson Central LaVergne makes me fret a little. I think if they don't blow it in the subdistrict game against a lesser opponent (MTJ or HEN?) that LaVergne is the type of team that can take it up a notch against a higher rated team (just ask Wilson Central, Siegel, Oakland). LaVergne wants to do to us this year like we did to them last year, and that is to upset them in the regional. No matter what though, I do not see them getting past a Hunters Lane and/or Franklin team in the Elite 8.

Throwing a tech would be stupid. If refs were allowed to do that I would just dress up in opposing team apparel and run on court and start cussing the ref out.

Thats what im saying Our 11th 12th and 13th men were in the game in the 2nd quarter around the time we got down 19-12 because Thomas Calhoun and Carter all had 2 fouls within the first half of the first quarter. And yes, basically our 2nd string had 2 fouls by the time the second quarter started. I wasn't exaggerating on double bonus 3 minutes into the game. Like I said, we had 3rd string players who ended the game with 4 fouls. Now go back to booing opposing team cheerleaders.

When WCHS and Beech play its about 30-35 fouls per team That is not real.

Im sorry but overall let the guys play 50 or so overall fouls in a game committed by both teams is a bit absurd. And quite frankly, I don't care if we win by 8 or 88. WCHS played a great game tonight and my compliments to all the guys who stepped up who normally would maybe play 2 minutes or when we are up by 30. A great game and great way for WCHS going into the tourney.

Heh. I said by 8 points in the other post. The officiating this game was pathetic. WCHS had 10 fouls 5 minutes into the game and Thomas had to sit the entire first half basically after he had 2 bs fouls in the first 69 seconds. We were playing JV guys by the second quarter and the funny thing is they were wooping on Lebanon. Everytime One of our 3 big men (Thomas Calhoun Carter) tried coming back FOUL about 30 seconds later. Altogether, It was about 38 fouls to 24. We had guys on our JV team who even had 4 fouls.

The Goliath Killers strike again Everyone rips on Central for losing to LaVergne and even losing to them on our 18/19 streak but LaVergne can take it up a notch when they want.

Dates are next week for regionals 4 teams qualify but you have to win the sub district game to automatically qualify for the regionals and advance into the district tournament. Wilson Central and Beech will host their first games against Smyrna and White House. Winners of those games advance to the district tournament and earn a spot in the regional tournament. Beech - 1 seed WCHS - 2 seed Lavergne - 3 seed Gallatin - I think they are 4th seed right now.

Actually, Siegel didn't even look all that great that game. They looked kind of like WCHS last year before tournament time. And this was when WCHS was 4-4. Now they are 21-5. If WCHS saw Siegel again, I think the second time around could get ugly. But quite frankly, I just hope the second time around for Lebanon is real ugly for them

Mailman I've seen Beech twice this year and while I saw you at the 1st game I didn't see you at the 2nd game. If your going by what you saw the first game from Beech then your going wrong because I have seen what Beech can do and they are a very good and very smart team. They are definitely one of the best coached teams in the state and they execute almost perfectly. Their defense is also great and if Wilson Central decides to think that Beech can't stand with WCHS then we are going to be in for a big shocker. As far as height disadvantage, Beech has always found ways to get our big men in foul trouble. Carter and Thomas fouled out the last game and the 1st affair I believe they both had foul trouble too. Beech is not 25-3 by luck. WCHS is the type of team I would expect to have an off night before Beech. But then again, WCHS is the type of team I would expect to blow out teams by 50 night in and night out before Beech.

So thats what that chant was. Bring Back the Girls LOL. I couldnt understand what they were saying the "lets play football chant" we also used that when we played at MTJ. "Domination" we use that at like every home game or even away games. Gotta love it though "Start the show" was sweet I like the "Boring Chants" our crowd does too. I like the pregame introductions we do to MJHS: When MJHS is announcing their lineup, the whole WCHS student section turns their backs the opposite direction of the court and after the players name has been announced, everyone yell S..! Yes, there is a lot more school spirit in our athletics than what used to be

I think MJHS Would be better off suiting the girls team to play against the guys That score was very misleading of the domination.
