  1. Philip and Cindy:

Welcome to the old timers club. Thanks for being great leaders of our little group. Special thanks to Bailey for being a great leader and a great warrior. If there was ever a wrestler that you can't count out in the big match, Bailey has to be number one in my book. He has proven it every year.

  2. Ok first of all i thought everything went great all the kids wrestled very hard. And it was a great weekend and a battle between Ryan and Baylor, But did any one notice after the 285 from Ryan got done with his gold metal match and won,he walked off mat with head down coaches kinda slaped hands. This kid won a state gold medal i think it was his second time, but way to much pressure on team point and no one seemed to care he was the champ. Hats off to him he wrestled hard and needs to have his head high and the coaches need to be as excited for him as they were for all there other kids. He knew at the end what he needed to do to win for the team and tryed very hard but it did not happen, but he is the CHAMP!!!!!!!!

Great point...a similar thing happened in '99 when Baylor defeated Father Ryan by 1/2 point. Ryan's 215 lber won his second state championship (I think) but failed to get the pin. Neither team had a HW in the finals. I've never seen a state champion so disappointed. It was a real shame.

What a great moment when the Baylor and Ryan kids all got together for a championship picture. I'm so glad the kids keep it all in perspective.

  3. As this is one of my specialties I will personally conduct this workshop on how to put the slip on security and remain on the floor matside all danged day like you own the place. Later BCB will run a class on "How to charm security into any dang thing". BE THERE. In conclusion Itjx and Allsaints will lead us all on a "Good Luck Irish" Stations of the Cross. BE THERE !

    GO IRISH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Harry:

It sure seems that the cost of this workshop has fallen dramatically based on last night's performance.

  4. Not allowing food in was a TSSAA decision not a UTC decision.

When I've been to MTSU for State championships I paid for parking and concessions.

???We??™re just not allowing any food or drinks into the arena,??? TSSAA executive director Ronnie Carter said.

Staggeringly stupid decision added to a very long list from the gang at HQ.

  5. YEAH, UTC WRESTLING REALLY APPRECIATES YOUR $2.50 FOR A BAG OF M&M'S! COME ON, EVERYBODY KNOWS THEY ARE RIPPIN PEOPLE OFF!! THESE PARENTS COME FROM ALL OVER THE STATE TO SEE THEIR KIDS WRESTLE AND THEY ARE THERE FOR 3 DAYS WITH NOT A WHOLE LOT OF CHOICES IN DOWNTOWN CHATT.

IF THEY LEAVE TO GO EAT, THEY CAN EXPECT TO PAY ANOTHER 5 BUCKS TO PARK IN THE SAME SPOT THEY LEFT AN HOUR EARLIER!

AND THE WRESTLERS ARE SO HUNGRY AFTER WEIGH-INS, IF THEY CAN'T BRING THEIR OWN FOOD IN THE PARENTS GET RAPED EVEN MORE SHELLING OUT 4 DOLLARS FOR A NACHOS AND CHEESE FOR THEIR GRAPPLERS.

YOU CAN GO TO THE TITANS STADIUM AND PAY LESS FOR FOOD.

THEY ARE RUNNING A RACKET DOWN THERE.

The University supplies the concessions and sets the prices. The wrestling team, as any other beneficiary, makes a margin on sales that is dictated by the University after supplying labor to run the stands.

And, I seriously doubt that concessions cost less at a Titans game.

  6. Everything at Baylor is the best. Best school, best campus, best team, best wrestler, smartest parents, best coaches, prettiest moms. If you dont believe me just ask them.

    That's OK, I believe you.

  7. seeing the sanctimonious unable to differentiate between poor spelling and the improper use of homonyms reminds me sum people take themselves way two seriously.

So, BRB, would you grade improper use of a homonym more or less severely than a misspelled word? And, I know that you can differentiate between the too.
